Great impression walking in the door. Greeted by very friendly staff and a roaring fireplace in lounge. Every thing was top notch. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We were in room 703 with a huge terrace. The staff is also very helpful with directions and recommendations. Andy was our favorite in valet. Highly recommend this hotel!! We will definitely stay again next time in NYC!!

Stayed in the Ludlow Loft for a long girls weekend. Location was perfect — super accessible to cute restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Awesome area for a late night bite, too. The loft was pretty specious with 2 sitting areas and ample space to spread out your luggage. Only thing was there are only 2 elevators that guests share with staff and they are slow moving. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d come back.

Great mix of understated elegance and old world charm with new world cool factor. Cosy lounge with fire place and garden, cosy bright rooms, great gym. Wonderful ambience and very attentive staff. Received upgrade and thoughtful amenities brought to my room that I needed. Well stocked mini bar. Late checkout.

The Ludlow Hotel my preferred stay in NYC. Its lower East side location is close to restaurants and shops and the rooms, while small are beautifully appointed. The bar/common space feels like a living room and the fireplace make the space seem warm and cozy.

I had a great stay. The staff was attentive, the facility was inviting and very nicely appointed, the room was very nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. To me the Ludlow is a high value experience. It was not inexpensive but it delivered a great value as it exceeded its promises as to what the hotel offered. The gym was also very nice with 180 degree views of the city. I would definitely recommend it.

A great hotel in a really good location. The room was quiet and mostly comfortable - it was slightly overfilled with furniture which made moving around tricky and it was very dark. But we loved staying here and would definitely return. The terrace was our highlight.

Great hotel, staff, restaurant and nice open area with couches and fire place. I almost forgot....nice gym, too, with great views and outside patio area. We'll be back in the Fall. Thank you!

First time visit to NYC, lucked into the Ludlow Hotel & SO glad we did. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and the evenings in the lobby around the fire were a perfect way to end our days.

Great location for night life and vintage shopping. Stay here if you want to feel like a young and hip local. Housekeeping was so eager to clean our rooms which I liked. We always had a clean room. The lobby is welcoming and secured from the public after a certain hour, I loved it here

This was our first time staying at the Ludlow. Overall, it is a great hotel. With that being said, we had some customer service issues. We are aware check-in is 3pm, so we notified the hotel a few times when we would be arriving. Of course it is first come first serve, but they told us it would be 45 minutes until our room was ready (perfect!) but then took an additional hour on top of that. Had we known it was going to be prolonged, we would’ve left and gotten lunch instead of waiting around. On the first day, the AC was great. Second day it stopped working so we let staff know in the morning that AC was not working and the room was muggy. They told us to turn the fan to auto and wait it out, which we had already done. We let them know and nothing came of it. The third day it was up to 78 in our room and with 4 of us, it was uncomfortable. We notified staff once again and finally they sent someone up. Sure enough there was no air being blown into our room but by that point we’d be leaving in the morning anyways. We wish they had listened in the first place and had this issue rectified from the start. Other than these bumps in the road - the hotel was extremely clean, always had fresh towels restocked, in-room dining service was great, and the location is superb. We also felt very safe. We’d stay here again for sure, hoping that what we experienced was a one off :)

Love how quiet the Ludlow is (we were on floor 11), despite it being in a busy area. I did find it odd that I had to request a luggage rack for the room, but they brought it up very quickly. The room and common areas were clean. My only nitpicks are that I didn't love the pillows (not enough neck support) and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall.

Super cute and cozy room that was immaculate and made me feel right at home (but cleaner haha). Staff were always around and working hard…and it shows. Good location if you want to be on the LES where there aren’t a ton of hotel options. Could have done without the (guests?) smoking pot on the benches out in front of the hotel that wafted up even to the 12th floor, but I guess that’s ny for you these days and not really the hotel’s fault. Loved it here and would stay again. Appreciated the easy to control thermostat that actually seemed to work, I stay in a lot of hotels and this is not a given.

Check-out was a breeze. The staff were warm and helpful. The room was beautiful, exactly how it is in the photos. Housekeeping was consistent, so my room was always clean. I travelled solo and I felt safe during my stay.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ludlow. The room was gorgeous and the view from the bathroom was stunning. Watching the sunrise from the huge bath tub was spectacular! The room and hotel had all the amenities you would expect. There’s a roof terrace offering incredible views across the city. All the staff we encountered were really helpful and nothing was too much effort. It was my partner’s birthday and as well as giving us a room with a great view on my request, they left a bottle of sparkling wine and a card for him, which was a lovely touch. They also had personalised cookies which we received one of half way through our stay - so cute! The area was great for exploring the city and there were lots of places to eat, drink, and get coffee nearby. I would definitely stay here again and hope to return one day! If I was to offer one piece of feedback it would be that it was a shame that they only provide one small complementary bottle of water per person per stay - otherwise you had to buy an expensive bottle from the room service. It wasn’t a big deal and we bought in water from outside, but it seems like a small thing that could be included in the price of the room to have a small bottle per day. Just a thought - I’ve certainly had that in other hotels. Overall though it was a 10/10 stay!

It was our first stay at the Ludlow and we truly enjoyed it. The staff, Omar, upon check in were very helpful and kind. Andy at the door had many great suggestions for bars to check out and Brandy at the bar was very informative about other options to check out as well. We truly enjoyed our room with it's sitting area and lovely furnishings. One negative was our extremely squeaky bed. Beautiful bed, but very noisy even for sleeping. All in all, we loved our stay and look forward to returning to this neighborhood again soon to check it out even further. We usually stay near Central Park and love that area, but this was a great stay in a different area of town. Thanks!

We travelled from UK to get married in NYC and the Ludlow hotel team were amazing - so friendly, helpful and accommodating to ensure our stay there was as magical as we hoped it would be. Gorgeous hotel with lovely decor and the Skyloft apartment we stayed in had breathtaking views of the city. Hopefully be back again for our anniversary at some point in the future, but will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks to everyone there.

Loved every minute of being on the LES for fashion week. The Ludlow was super vibey and buzzing. We’d stay again. The bed was pretty small. And the shower didn’t work so well.
Loved every minute of being on the LES for fashion week. The Ludlow was super vibey and buzzing. We’d stay again. The bed was pretty small. And the shower didn’t work so well.

The Ludlow Hotel my preferred stay in NYC. Its lower East side location is close to restaurants and shops and the rooms, while small are beautifully appointed. The bar/common space feels like a living room and the fireplace make the space seem warm and cozy.

A great hotel in a really good location. The room was quiet and mostly comfortable - it was slightly overfilled with furniture which made moving around tricky and it was very dark. But we loved staying here and would definitely return. The terrace was our highlight.

Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, amazing food, but we could not sleep AT ALL two of the three nights we spent there. We have a toddler, so we really appreciate our quiet hours of rest at night. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the street and we woke up many times, at 2 AM, 4 AM, 5 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. It was so frustrating. Drunk people were screaming, arguing and reeving engines non-stop. It was like their were in our rooms. They should revise their policy and put families in quieter rooms and maybe single people who party closer to the commotion? I was really disappointed because the hotel is not cheap. I'm going back to work and I couldn't rest at all.

Great sized room in NYC. My husband and I stayed in the king room, which was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. It had a nice seating area. There was not much storage, especially in the bathroom, but the size of the room made up for it. The area was vibrant and the staff were friendly. I would stay at the Ludlow again and would recommend it to others.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at by far. Gorgeous lobby and rooms. Only issue was the AC in the room didn’t work well. No matter what we set it at it wouldn’t go lower than 70.

The hotel is great. Luxurious, comfortable, great service, great location. Overall, good value. BUT, and its a big "but", my wife left her laptop in the room at checkout. We called within an hour, explained the situation, our room number, and where the laptop would be. We were promised a call back very soon thereafter. We called the hotel three times that day and never received a call back. When we called three hours after the initial call, I was told that they hadn't had a chance to check the room yet, but I could expect a call back soon. Again nothing. For such a nice hotel with great service while we were there, this is unacceptable.

We travelled from UK to get married in NYC and the Ludlow hotel team were amazing - so friendly, helpful and accommodating to ensure our stay there was as magical as we hoped it would be. Gorgeous hotel with lovely decor and the Skyloft apartment we stayed in had breathtaking views of the city. Hopefully be back again for our anniversary at some point in the future, but will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks to everyone there.

Alice at the front desk and her team at the Ludlow are amazing. We are so pleased with the cleanliness the layout of our room and can’t believe the location. We would definitely stay here again. I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone visiting. It’s got a bit of an edge which we loved And none of this corporate crap that you can see in the big cities. We loved lounging downstairs, getting coffee and just comfortable with the overall feel. We had 1000 hotels to book from and we could not recommend more than what we experienced. We will be back again!

The Best part was the customer service we received from Jonathon! He was so personable! Everything was Great with hotel. The restaurant Dirty French was not great. First day sat there for 20 min and decided we would just leave. Second day ordeted breakfast. No silverwear brought up. No cream for coffee and incomplete order no bacon. I called it was 40 min then they showed up with just bacon.

I had a great stay. The staff was attentive, the facility was inviting and very nicely appointed, the room was very nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. To me the Ludlow is a high value experience. It was not inexpensive but it delivered a great value as it exceeded its promises as to what the hotel offered. The gym was also very nice with 180 degree views of the city. I would definitely recommend it.

This was our first time staying at the Ludlow. Overall, it is a great hotel. With that being said, we had some customer service issues. We are aware check-in is 3pm, so we notified the hotel a few times when we would be arriving. Of course it is first come first serve, but they told us it would be 45 minutes until our room was ready (perfect!) but then took an additional hour on top of that. Had we known it was going to be prolonged, we would’ve left and gotten lunch instead of waiting around. On the first day, the AC was great. Second day it stopped working so we let staff know in the morning that AC was not working and the room was muggy. They told us to turn the fan to auto and wait it out, which we had already done. We let them know and nothing came of it. The third day it was up to 78 in our room and with 4 of us, it was uncomfortable. We notified staff once again and finally they sent someone up. Sure enough there was no air being blown into our room but by that point we’d be leaving in the morning anyways. We wish they had listened in the first place and had this issue rectified from the start. Other than these bumps in the road - the hotel was extremely clean, always had fresh towels restocked, in-room dining service was great, and the location is superb. We also felt very safe. We’d stay here again for sure, hoping that what we experienced was a one off :)

The front door and desk staff are courteous and friendly. They are responsive and helpful. The terrace queen room was lovely, and the terrace was fabulous. The aesthetic is very European. The terrace door does not lock and needed the repair man to get to to close properly. The repair man came promptly. Unfortunately, there is a female bartender (tall, thin, light brown hair), who’s attitude needs an adjustment. We went to the bar our 1st night to get a drink and she seemed bothered when I asked a question about a drink. Her responses were short and rude. She needs a hospitality lesson. We left the bar without ordering and did not go back for our stay. We deducted a star for this.

Was impressed by the staff and hotel. Tons of things included that would normally be charged for in other hotels and no 'resort fee' which is nice. Area is noisy especially if you face onto Ludlow St, but lots of great bars, restaurants and shopping in the area. Close to the Tenement and New Museums.

Had a great stay over new year. Great location and views of Manhattan from the balcony. Very good food options locally. Easy access to the rest of Manhattan and Brooklyn on the nearby subway. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous hotel in LES with charming rooms and a fantastic tapas/cocktail lounge and atrium. Friendly staff. Dirty French and the bar were solid go tos for drinks and dinner. Would stay here again for a liesure trip to NYC. Very hip.

A really wonderful boutique hotel on the LES. Since its winter they had a beautiful roaring fire in the lounge which was nice to see when arriving back after a long day. The room was on the smaller side but had every amenity needed. Loved the nespresso machine and the view was fantastic. Great access to the subway which was only a couple of blocks away, but walking allowed us to see all the fun neighborhood gems. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. There was nothing that was "wow" but overall a nice, friendly, clean, trendy, place. Would absolutely stay again!

The Ludlow had been on my wish list for years, so as soon as we decided to elope to New York, it was the first thing we booked. We chose a Skybox Loft and the views were absolutely outstanding. Watching the sunrise and seeing the city change in the different light throughout the day felt incredibly special. The bathroom was also stunning. Every bit as beautiful as the pictures. One practical downside was the very limited hanging space and no drawers. We appreciate that space is at a premium in New York, but we’d expected a little more in this room category. The wardrobe was tiny, with only a handful of hangers and the safe and other items meant there was no space to hang anything full length. With wedding outfits and a suit to store, that was a challenge. What made this a good stay rather than a truly memorable one though, was the lack of a personal touch. The hotel knew we were getting married during our stay and while we weren’t expecting anything extravagant, even a little card or a congratulations on the day would have meant a lot. There wasn’t any acknowledgement, which left us feeling a little disappointed given how much we’d looked forward to staying here for such a special occasion. It’s a beautiful hotel and we’ll always remember those incredible views. We just wish the welcome had felt a little more personal.
