A beautiful property with amazing staff. Since it is inside the Diocletian's Palace, it is so convenient to walk to all the sites. If you plan to go in summer make sure you plan your parking because the hotel has limited parking spots. They have incredible staff (Danielle) who are courteous and so helpful. They had banana bread and coffee and tea when we arrived. The breakfast was amazing. We would go back in a heart. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Jan spent substantial time giving me very detailed information about the area and answering my questions. So, thanks very much to him. The breakfast was quite nice and the self-service area in the dining room, with rakija, coffee, etc., was highly appreciated by me during the stay. If I return to Split, I would certainly stay there again.

Fabulous staff. I'd hire any of them. Terrific breakfast - diverse fresh and plentiful. Clean and comfortable rooms with some historic charm. Patio is entirely walled but nice that it's open to the sky. Must climb stairs and a bit tricky to find front door. Staff and breakfast and all day snacks are stellar.

Llegamos al atardecer, nos vinieron a recoger al parking que se encontraba fuera del recinto amurallado , 10 mnt. Andando . El recibimiento en el hotel fue caluroso , habíamos elegido una habitación superior con vistas a la catedral , mereció la pena . La sala para el desayunado es pequeña , en proporción al hotel , tanto la presentacion de los alimentos como su calidad muy buena , el servicio de cocina exquisito.

Perfect location, truly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are lovely. Only things to be aware of is that it is historic building so minimal reception area and walk up to rooms.

The staff was amazing. Ante's level of service was above and beyond. We had a few solid recommendations for anything we wanted to do and they always turned out great. Our room faced Diocletians palace courtyard which at night was great to have the windows open and listen to music from outside. Breakfast was delicious. The location could not be more central to the old town. Parking would be difficult but we reserved a spot from the hotel which is conveniently located right outside the golf gate/park and was super convenient.
The staff was amazing. Ante's level of service was above and beyond. We had a few solid recommendations for anything we wanted to do and they always turned out great. Our room faced Diocletians palace courtyard which at night was great to have the windows open and listen to music from outside. Breakfast was delicious. The location could not be more central to the old town. Vidunderligt hotel med den allerstørste grad af gæstfrihed og service, man kunne drømme om. Vi landede i byen tidligt om morgenen, og fik lov til at tjekke ind allerede der. Ved afrejse fik vi lokale gaver med. Hotellet er virkelig skønt, meget rent - og der er fri kaffe.

Excellent check in experience, the host offered local liquors while pointing out the top 20 things to see around Split's old city. He even provided a copy of the notes along with the area map. Very helpful. My visit was during the off season, I was upgraded to a room looking out at the cathedral along. The room was very nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a nice number of options considering there aren't that many rooms.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, with interesting dishes to try beyond the standard. The staff was fun and friendly and genuinely a pleasure to engage with. To stay here, book early, or like us, come during the off-season when the price is lower and crowds are smaller, as this is a small family-owned hotel. Our stay five day stay was perfect and I can't overstate how much we enjoyed our experience here and in Split.

Oh my goodness I love this hotel!!! Jan, the manager, went out of his way to help us with EVERYTHING. The room was lovely. The bathroom had a great shower and L’Occitane products. The bathroom floor was heated. There was a vanity mirror so that my old eyes could see to do my makeup. I loved having a kettle in the room. There was also a stocked refrigerator. The air conditioner was perfect. The breakfast…oh the breakfast! You should just come here to eat breakfast. Oh my word! Divine! So many choices! We’ve NEVER stayed where there was this nice of an included breakfast. Jan made sure to accommodate my request for a downstairs room. My husband was recovering from knee surgery. The nightly liqueurs were delicious. Seriously, this is the place to stay in Split.

I highly recommend this property. The location is extremely convenient (right inside the palace walls and near all the action). The staff is excellent. Ante made us feel at home and offered numerous helpful recommendations when we arrived. They helped arrange an airport transfer (for an additional fee) which was very convenient. They also helped us get to the ferry terminal so we could make our ferry to Dubrovnik easily without stress. The breakfast was amazing as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. We only wish we could have spent more time here.

This hotel situates next to the silver gate. Only one minute walk to the palace, the cathedral and bell tower. We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. The chef made a cheesecake for us in the morning and it’s the best cheesecake I have ever had. Staff named Daniela helped us with the check-in. She provided us with detailed guidance on the places to visit along with the history background of the sights. She is very knowledgeable and sweet. If I ever come back to Split I will definitely choose this hotel again.

It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind. The room was perfectly clean. Right in front of the room window, we could see the bell tower of St. Domnius Cathedral. Breakfast was delicious—the bread, fresh vegetables, and local sweets were all satisfyingly tasty. We've never experienced such a wonderful hotel before.

Terrific boutique hotel. Beautiful room - spectacular bathroom. Extremely attentive staff. Delicious and nice variety of breakfast foods. Snacks available all day included. Feet from the bell tower but totally removed behind stone walls from the tourist commotion. Perfect Split hotel.

The location was great, the room was nice but not special. The staff was great as was the made to order breakfast along with the limited buffet. You have to be aware that you are right across from the bell tower and the bells go off as early as 6 am. We were fine with it and knew that ahead of time. But you just can’t beat the location. In all a great antique in old town stay.

Beautiful hotel inside the Palace. Great renovated bathrooms. Location was quiet despite being steps away from all the action. I wish the had “real” coffee in the room. Staff attention was outstanding! Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything about this hotel is special. It is built within the walls of the Diocletian Palace, and yet is fully updated with all modern comforts. While the hotel is small (boutique), we were given a surprisingly large room up a few steps from a small courtyard nestled away from the crowds. Everything we wanted to see in Split was an easy walk away. We were welcomed by Jan who was an incredible host and a tremendous help to us throughout our stay. The small dining area sustained us with amazing breakfasts and additional food/drinks throughout the day. Additional dining options were available right outside the hotel. For the location, charm and the warmth of the people, I highly recommend staying at Heritage Hotel Antique in Split.

A beautiful property with amazing staff. Since it is inside the Diocletian's Palace, it is so convenient to walk to all the sites. If you plan to go in summer make sure you plan your parking because the hotel has limited parking spots. They have incredible staff (Danielle) who are courteous and so helpful. They had banana bread and coffee and tea when we arrived. The breakfast was amazing. We would go back in a heart. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

This accommodation was amazing. The staff and service are exceptional. It was perfect and we would highly recommend . The staff are “second to none” - they were always available and provided so many great tips for dining (even calling the restaurants for us), they had suggestions for interesting side trips in the area, the breakfast was fantastic (an amazing chef - pastries, breakfast options, etc). Excellent check in experience, the host offered local liquors while pointing out the top 20 things to see around Split's old city. He even provided a copy of the notes along with the area map. Very helpful. My visit was during the off season, I was upgraded to a room looking out at the cathedral along. The room was very nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a nice number of options considering there aren't that many rooms.

Heritage Hotel Antique Split was a wonderful place. We stayed there three nights. We arrived by ferry at night- Jan was waiting and helped us get to the hotel. The dining area was very nice- and daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with ideas for exploring. They also helped us get transportation to the airport when we departed. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This property is awesome. Such great customer service from meeting us at bus to holding luggage. Great breakfast, spacious room, as good as possible to palace experience. Right in the heart of the old town "palace" area. Exceptional staff. Room just as it looked in the photos and was great. Have to walk maybe 2-3 blocks to get to hotel from any taxi drop off, but that is true of all the hotels in the old town. Can't get anywhere in the old town area by car. t was great to be in the center of all the action. Hotel was quiet. Would definitely recommend highly.

They were very helpful with restaurant recs and any question we had was answered. There is A/C in the room, which was nice. The shower was good and had hot water. We would definitely recommend. Keep in mind if you are looking for a lot of amenities or a view this hotel does not have that, but offers an experience within the palace and so much is walkable.

The breakfast was quite nice and the self-service area in the dining room, with rakija, coffee, etc., was highly appreciated by me during the stay. If I return to Split, I would certainly stay there again.

Fabulous staff. I'd hire any of them. Terrific breakfast - diverse fresh and plentiful. Clean and comfortable rooms with some historic charm. Patio is entirely walled but nice that it's open to the sky. Must climb stairs and a bit tricky to find front door. Staff and breakfast and all day snacks are stellar.

The location was great, the room was nice but not special. The staff was great as was the made to order breakfast along with the limited buffet. You have to be aware that you are right across from the bell tower and the bells go off as early as 6 am. We were fine with it and knew that ahead of time. But you just can’t beat the location. In all a great antique in old town stay.

It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind. The room was perfectly clean. Right in front of the room window, we could see the bell tower of St. Domnius Cathedral. Breakfast was delicious—the bread, fresh vegetables, and local sweets were all satisfyingly tasty. We've never experienced such a wonderful hotel before.
