Adriatic Resort Apartments

A nice well planned apartment. Maintenance and cleaning is sub standard, lots of different things were broken in the apartment. Cleaning was also poorly done. There are also no deals with nearby hotels to rent sun chairs at the beach. It is very expensive.

This is not a resort apartment. It’s just a building with 6 units inside a market area. There’s no lounge, garden, restaurant or pool as described in the hotels.com ad. All the photos and amenities described are from the neighbouring hotel. There are no facilities at this property other than rooms. There’s no road or access to the property and If you reach the place at night you’ll never find it as it’s so remote and there are no lights or signposts.

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay at Adriatic Resort Apartments. the staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful. They did everything they could within their role. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself did not live up to the description on Hotels.com. One of the main reasons we booked this property was because it was presented as having a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. However, there is no pool at the property. Guests are instead referred to a neighbouring hotel’s pool, where access costs €10 per person per day, depends on availability, and the neighbouring hotel’s own guests are given priority. In our opinion, this is very different from the impression created by the listing, where the pool is repeatedly presented as one of the property’s amenities. The apartment was also in a much poorer condition than the listing photos suggested. The biggest issue was a strong mould smell throughout the apartment, together with visible signs of moisture and mould in several places. As we were travelling with our one-year-old daughter we did not feel comfortable staying there and therefore booked another hotel for the final three nights of our holiday at considerable additional expense. We discussed our concerns with the General Manager, but our concerns about the mould were reduced to being “just a smell”, and we were offered air freshener rather than a solution to the underlying problem. We dont recommend staying here.

Whilst functional the property is very dated and in need of repair. Boiler only allows for 1 shower. Crack in TV screen and cooker splash back. Curtains illfitting allow in light. Balcony furniture old and uncomfortable. The ability to use the facilities in the hotel next door saved the holiday.reception staff pleasant and accommodating but it should not be necessary to ask for things like beach towels, a drying rack for clothes, change of towels mid way through week. Overall average.
