The property was very interesting, situated in an old building with all convenient amenities. Good location, near some principal streets,walkable distance to a supermarket and different restaurants, also near the sea .the hotel has an elevator and an interior garden where we took breakfast. Each room was different, our was " dolce vita", designer look with very high ceilings.staff was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Valetta in a quiet back street. The desk isn't always manned but a simple coded push button mechanism releases the external door. The building was a 4 storey old courtyard building with loads of character...it has a lift if needed. Our room was large and comfortable with a basic kitchenette if needed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The modern shower room was in the corner of the bedroom and worked very well. One slight drawback is that the open shower cubicle leaked a little causing the floor to become rather sodden. The continental buffet breakfast had a great range of options to satisfy most peoples requirements. Overall a great place to stay and I'd certainly be very happy to book here again.

The property is very close to many attractions and restaurants. However, I got stuck in the elevator - I had to call the hotel management who then sent somebody over; also left some messages on Expedia but no answer from the hotel. I also activated the alarm in the elevator and the elevator maintenance company could speak a little of English. I yelled out and kept tapping on the elevator door until another guest helped me open from the outside. I decided to take the stairs after this incident and when I checked out - it is not easy to maneuver a 22-inch bag along the spiral stairs. The hotel did not follow up with me at all after this incident. Breakfast is decent. The room is spacious. The AC works very well. The water leaks out a bit as the shower pan is too shallow. Hot water is hit or miss, but I stayed here in summer, so no hot water is needed per se. As a side note, on the way back when I had a transit in Paris-CDG, the elevator to get to the lower floor to hop on the inter-terminal shuttle bus also did not open. However, it magically opened after I tried the door-opening button three times - very odd to be stuck in the elevator twice in two different places in 24 hours!

The Vincent is a hotel with a great potential but that’s not used. The staff is incredibly kind and available, even though it’s available only from about 8am to 4pm. For this reason, I feel the “human component” of warmth and coziness was a bit missing compared to other hotels that offer full time reception/on site presence. Regarding the palace itself, it’s incredibly aesthetically pleasing and a typical maltese building, which apart from being charming, is also extremely humid. In particular, you can feel it right when you enter the hotel and, my room, Mediterranea, was very humid, especially the bathroom, which smelled so badly from humidity. The fact that it had no windows and the water from shower was going on the floor (no shower doors) didn’t help. Plus, the walls and ceiling are very thin, meaning you can hear everything from upstairs and laterally, from the wc water flush to ringtone, talking, and also when people were walking in the above room, the ceiling was vibrating, it was loud and felt as if elephants were walking… not great if you want to sleep… The air conditioning was working well and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is abundant, fresh, varied and good, it’s served at -1 floor but you can choose to have it in the magical courtyard. The conditions of the structure need to be reviewed and renovated, the potential is very high but not exploited.

The staff was excellent. Checkin was a breeze. The hotel is well located in the heart of old town - just steps from the fort... none the less the room was very quiet. The room was large and colorful - bed, couch, fridge, tea set, etc. the TV stations were a bit limited, but who travels to watch TV anyway! Bedding was exceptionally comfortable. If you are ready for breakfast at 8am, you can sit in the garden to eat. Value for money was very good. Would happily stay again.

Sehr altes Gebäude mit viel Charme, Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, Valletta ist zu Fuß sehr gut zu erkunden. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und wurde täglich gereinigt. Parkmöglichkeiten sind eigentlich nicht vorhanden, aber es ist in ganz Valletta so. Frühstück war für uns völlig ausreichend (frisches Obst, Kaffeeauswahl, Käse, Wurst, Ei usw.)

Très jolies suites dans un bâtiment historique. Endroit très calme et le personnel est trés discret et très gentil. je recommande l'endroit car bien placé, proche de tout à la Valette et facilement accéssible depuis le MCC

A small boutique hotel of immense charm. Delightful courtyard for breakfast. The team were friendly and welcoming - at reception and especially so the ladies at breakfast! Would certainly stay again. And around the corner is Kaiseki which we considered to be the best dining experience in Valletta.

Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité de tout (restaurants, bus, plages, le fort St Elme, Casa Rocca Piccola, musée national d'archéologie, ect). L'hôtel est très propre, calme, décoré avec goût, le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié. Il y a vraiment de tout! Petits gâteaux faits maison, viennoiseries, oeufs, bacon, chacuterie, fromage, céréales, fruits et j'en passe. Il y en a pour tous les goûts :) Le personnel est au petit soin et vraiment très gentil! J'y retournerai sans hésiter ! A bientôt 🙂

The Araba Room. Stayed for a weekend in October 2024. Looks great in the pictures however in reality it is a damp, smelly, dark, below street level, boutique cave just off the courtyard, and right next to the courtyard toilets. The paint is peeling off the ceiling due to the dampness, and I even had a visit from a cockroach. My immediate request for another room was met with a “sorry, we’re full”. My complaint and request for a refund or discount was met with silence initially, but when Expedia intervened a discount off my next trip was offered - which was derisory and laughable. A hotel room is meant to be a place to relax after a day of sightseeing in Valletta, not a place to suffer in humid, unhygienic conditions. Unfortunately, I had prepaid for my trip, otherwise I would have left. Caveat emptor.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were overwhelmed by the friendliness and service. Taking our bags to the room and offering advice on getting the best from our visit. The hotel was immaculately clean the small numbers of staff worked hard to provide a huge array of tasty food and drink for breakfast but also cleaning the rooms and changing towels and sheets daily. Even though the reception desk wasn’t always occupied when I had a minor problem a phone call to the given number the manager immediately arranged for the problem to be fixed.

We loved our stay at the hotel. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the courtyard, which was lovely. The room may get musty in the summertime. . It is a very unique property. It is in an older building so things like electrical outlets were in strange areas. The staff and food were excellent. The location is quiet but within walking distance of all the action. Would recommend and stay here again.

Loved the "Loft" apartment, with the kitchenette, lounge area and small balcony...great location and easy walking access to all areas of Valletta...friendly and helpful staff..already recommended to friends

The hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Valetta in a quiet back street. The desk isn't always manned but a simple coded push button mechanism releases the external door. The building was a 4 storey old courtyard building with loads of character...it has a lift if needed. Our room was large and comfortable with a basic kitchenette if needed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The modern shower room was in the corner of the bedroom and worked very well. One slight drawback is that the open shower cubicle leaked a little causing the floor to become rather sodden. The continental buffet breakfast had a great range of options to satisfy most peoples requirements. Overall a great place to stay and I'd certainly be very happy to book here again.

The property is very close to many attractions and restaurants. However, I got stuck in the elevator - I had to call the hotel management who then sent somebody over; also left some messages on Expedia but no answer from the hotel. I also activated the alarm in the elevator and the elevator maintenance company could speak a little of English. I yelled out and kept tapping on the elevator door until another guest helped me open from the outside. I decided to take the stairs after this incident and when I checked out - it is not easy to maneuver a 22-inch bag along the spiral stairs. The hotel did not follow up with me at all after this incident. Breakfast is decent. The room is spacious. The AC works very well. The water leaks out a bit as the shower pan is too shallow. Hot water is hit or miss, but I stayed here in summer, so no hot water is needed per se. As a side note, on the way back when I had a transit in Paris-CDG, the elevator to get to the lower floor to hop on the inter-terminal shuttle bus also did not open. However, it magically opened after I tried the door-opening button three times - very odd to be stuck in the elevator twice in two different places in 24 hours!

The Vincent is really well located a couple of streets away from the tourist noise. It is really well appointed and the room was fantastic. The bathroom was majestic in size and appointments.

The staff was excellent. Checkin was a breeze. The hotel is well located in the heart of old town - just steps from the fort... none the less the room was very quiet. The room was large and colorful - bed, couch, fridge, tea set, etc. the TV stations were a bit limited, but who travels to watch TV anyway! Bedding was exceptionally comfortable. If you are ready for breakfast at 8am, you can sit in the garden to eat. Value for money was very good. Would happily stay again.

Sehr altes Gebäude mit viel Charme, Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, Valletta ist zu Fuß sehr gut zu erkunden. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und wurde täglich gereinigt. Parkmöglichkeiten sind eigentlich nicht vorhanden, aber es ist in ganz Valletta so. Frühstück war für uns völlig ausreichend (frisches Obst, Kaffeeauswahl, Käse, Wurst, Ei usw.)

Rooms were simply massive by European standards, though the bathroom did need a bit of updating. Overall though, excellent stay and I would go again. I had a nice balcony, included breakfast was excellent, staff were pleasant, and location is great.

Fantastic location and wonderful stuff. Breakfast was nice with good choices . The building had lots of character . My only criticism is the noise through the floor from the room above . The sound proofing was inadequate . I love this hotel and I would again , but only in the top floor rooms

Excellent accommodation and such lovely and welcoming staff from front desk to the cleaning and catering staff. Located in a quiet part of the main Town away from the noise and busy bustling restaurants and bars. If you don’t like steep walks up n down the streets then I personally wouldn’t recommend it, mind you it is Valletta so it’s something you’ll have to encounter.

The Vincent is a hotel with a great potential but that’s not used. The staff is incredibly kind and available, even though it’s available only from about 8am to 4pm. For this reason, I feel the “human component” of warmth and coziness was a bit missing compared to other hotels that offer full time reception/on site presence. Regarding the palace itself, it’s incredibly aesthetically pleasing and a typical maltese building, which apart from being charming, is also extremely humid. In particular, you can feel it right when you enter the hotel and, my room, Mediterranea, was very humid, especially the bathroom, which smelled so badly from humidity. The fact that it had no windows and the water from shower was going on the floor (no shower doors) didn’t help. Plus, the walls and ceiling are very thin, meaning you can hear everything from upstairs and laterally, from the wc water flush to ringtone, talking, and also when people were walking in the above room, the ceiling was vibrating, it was loud and felt as if elephants were walking… not great if you want to sleep… The air conditioning was working well and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is abundant, fresh, varied and good, it’s served at -1 floor but you can choose to have it in the magical courtyard. The conditions of the structure need to be reviewed and renovated, the potential is very high but not exploited.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were overwhelmed by the friendliness and service. Taking our bags to the room and offering advice on getting the best from our visit. The hotel was immaculately clean the small numbers of staff worked hard to provide a huge array of tasty food and drink for breakfast but also cleaning the rooms and changing towels and sheets daily. Even though the reception desk wasn’t always occupied when I had a minor problem a phone call to the given number the manager immediately arranged for the problem to be fixed.

Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold selections, all very nice. In very close proximity to the main shopping area, many restaurants and ferry ports to Sliema and Gozo. Only downside we had, was our fridge didn't work. Didn't bother us though as we were only there 3 days. They may have fixed it for us but we never mentioned it.

Hotel was in a great spot. Breakfast was great and staff very friendly. Room was clean and tidy. We did have noisy neighbours as our room at the top was joined with another which isn't the hotels fault. Oh they also got my wife a card and bottle of wine as I told them it was her 40th.

Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité de tout (restaurants, bus, plages, le fort St Elme, Casa Rocca Piccola, musée national d'archéologie, ect). L'hôtel est très propre, calme, décoré avec goût, le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié. Il y a vraiment de tout! Petits gâteaux faits maison, viennoiseries, oeufs, bacon, chacuterie, fromage, céréales, fruits et j'en passe. Il y en a pour tous les goûts :) Le personnel est au petit soin et vraiment très gentil! J'y retournerai sans hésiter ! A bientôt 🙂

The hotel is in a beautiful old building. The staff on the desk were students and were helpful. The breakfast let’s this place down. Our room was inbetween floors 2 and 3 which was fine for us but for people with poor mobility maybe consider the fact you need to either go up or down a narrow winding staircase. Very very good location.

Didn't bother us though as we were only there 3 days. They may have fixed it for us but we never mentioned it.
Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold selections, all very nice. In very close proximity to the main shopping area, many restaurants and ferry ports to Sliema and Gozo. Only downside we had, was our fridge didn't work. Didn't bother us though as we were only there 3 days. They may have fixed it for us but we never mentioned it.

A small boutique hotel of immense charm. Delightful courtyard for breakfast. The team were friendly and welcoming - at reception and especially so the ladies at breakfast! Would certainly stay again. And around the corner is Kaiseki which we considered to be the best dining experience in Valletta.

We stayed in The Loft apartment for a week and loved it, great locations, spacious, comfortable and a great bed. Breakfast is a simple continental style but lots of choice and variations every day.

Very clean, everyday housekeeping. Food very good, found a hair, and a fly in my food, but I believe it was in the transfer from the kitchen to my table.

The room was beautiful with a super comfy king size bed. There was even a little sitting area outside my room to enjoy a coffee.

Central location. Good impression at first. Breakfast available in the court yard. Smallest bar ever in the reception. Receptionists not very good in English. No adapters available (English outlets) so no charging of telephones during the stay. Water did not go out from the shower so the whole floor in the bathroom and a good part of the room was flooded. No understanding of the problem with the personnel. No help provided except a large number of towels to absorb the water. When trying to call the reception in the night the number indicated went to a answering machine - obviously wrong number displayed in the room. When asking for some discount because of the troubles it was thoroughly rejected. What is a seemingly nice hotel worth if its not working properly.

Hotel had just reopened after major refurbishment, so everything was immaculate and brand new. Pool wasn’t quite ready for use, and a couple of very minor snagging issues as everything/everyone only on day 2 of operation, but cannot fault it. Excellent location, walkable to all sights, restaurants, buses and ferries. Manager very knowledgeable of area and keen for feedback on refurbished rooms. Excellent breakfast menu, served in enclosed courtyard. Enormous comfy bed, and beautiful unusual building. Our room was just off reception, so noise from there travelled, but not late. Will be returning. Highly recommend.
