L’emplacement est magnifique et les lieux sont très bien entretenus. Nous avons cependant été un peu déçus par la suite junior : la décoration nous a paru assez sobre et minimaliste, dans un style proche de celui que l’on trouve dans certains hôtels de chaîne plus standard. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner nous a également semblé un peu austère et limité dans le choix. Dans l’ensemble, c’est un endroit idéal pour ceux qui, comme nous, recherchent avant tout la tranquillité et le silence. En revanche, les personnes très gourmandes ou habituées à des buffets plus abondants pourraient être un peu frustrées.

In a nutshell, the owner of this property is apparently a very respected and competent vintner. That being said, everything about this property (and I mean everything), plays a distant second fiddle to the winery. I think the unsubtle message is that guest rooms and the meagre facilities are clearly there solely to provide cash flow to the winery. Oenophiles will be absolutely fine with this but for everyone else, two days will be more than enough.
