Very comfortable bed in lovely home. Shared bathroom. View to the bay was exceptional. I wish we would have had more time to explore. Very nice restaurant within walking distance. Host was very warm and accommodating. I highly recommend Mama’s!

Our hostess was very hospitable, as was her Yorkie! We arrived and the deck looking at the sea welcomed us! Walked the nearby boardwalk to get homemade ice cream! The bed, breakfast, and company were great!

I had two back to back reservations and they were both great experiences. Wonderful host, very clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast. The location is great: Clarke’s Harbour is beautiful and this home has a back deck facing the ocean. Great for birdwatching!

The hostess was as nice as she could be - even got up early to make us an excellent breakfast (including home-made jelly on toast). The house was spotless. The mattress was firm and the linens top shelf. We had expected the coast to be more scenic there, and we were surprised that there was only one bathroom for three bedrooms.

The pictures for this accommodation leave you with the impression that the place is well cared for and immaculate when it comes to cleanliness. The pictures do not lie. Upon our arrival, the owner had just finished doing some outdoor painting and property maintenance ensuring the property is always in tip-top shape and picture-perfect condition. During our two-day stay, the hostess was enjoyable to spend time with as she helped us to become familiar with local areas of interest and also shared a few personal stories so when we were leaving on our final day we felt as though we were saying goodbye to an old friend. She was very friendly and made us feel welcome during the entire stay. We will definitely go back.

I really enjoyed my stay at Mama’s BnB by the Sea! Kim was a wonderful host. She provided everything that was needed, as well as some nice chats! She was very relaxed and worked around my schedule with breakfast etc. Her home is lovely. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. I hope to stay again sometime in the future!

This property offers an authentic Nova Scotia experience. Kim is a natural as a hostess. She is pleasant, accommodating and informative. She is also a good cook. Make sure you have the lobster boil! The property, which is oceanside, is close to the local attractions, especially the beaches. The amenities are more than satisfactory. I had the best sleep of the 2 weeks spent in Nova Scotia. We arrived as guests and left as friends.

The B&B was quiet and clean & very inviting. The hostess, Kim, did everything she could to make me and my spouse feel comfortable during our stay. The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable & the homemade breakfast Kim made was delicious. I especially recommend future guests to try her home-made jellies. Overall a 10/10 quality stay at Cape Sable Island and Mama's By The Sea! :)

Super cozy bed - best we’ve slept in on our trip so far. We forgot that it was a shared bathroom but that worked just fine. Kim arranged a lobster boil for us which was fantastic! Absolutely stunning location. Cookies were super yummy too!

Highly recommend staying here. Kim was an amazing host and Zoe was the cutest greeter! Kim went above and beyond in her communication and made sure that we had an enjoyable stay. Would definitely return hopefully to take advantage of the beautiful beach.

We completely enjoyed our stay with Kim and Zoey. Kim’s home is beautiful and welcoming. She provided lobster sandwiches upon our late arrival at 8:30 pm. The bed room was very private with everything we needed for a great nights sleep. We were surprised that we were sharing the bathroom with another couple but, it worked out with no issues! A full bacon & eggs breakfast was personally prepared by Kim. It was great fun chatting with Kim and the other guests. It really felt that we were visiting family and look forward to returning some day.
We completely enjoyed our stay with Kim and Zoey. Kim’s home is beautiful and welcoming. She provided lobster sandwiches upon our late arrival at 8:30 pm. Last house before the Atlantic. Lovely spot. Friendly host. Good full breakfast. Free parking. Stable WiFi. Bathroom shared with another guest, but created no issue and never heard the other person.

Very comfortable bed in lovely home. Shared bathroom. View to the bay was exceptional. I wish we would have had more time to explore. Very nice restaurant within walking distance. Host was very warm and accommodating. I highly recommend Mama’s!

Lovely B&B at a great location and with great value. Super clean, comfortable bed Nd delicious breakfast. Great hosting! There back has a nice deck with comfortable seating facing the ocean. Great spot for bird watching, among other. Loved it!

I had two back to back reservations and they were both great experiences. Wonderful host, very clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast. The location is great: Clarke’s Harbour is beautiful and this home has a back deck facing the ocean. Great for birdwatching!

This property offers an authentic Nova Scotia experience. Kim is a natural as a hostess. She is pleasant, accommodating and informative. She is also a good cook. Make sure you have the lobster boil! The property, which is oceanside, is close to the local attractions, especially the beaches. The amenities are more than satisfactory. I had the best sleep of the 2 weeks spent in Nova Scotia. We arrived as guests and left as friends.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mama's. Beautiful scenery in Clark's Harbor. Mama's made us feel at home while we were away from home. She is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great and her homemade jams were excellent (everyone had their favorite).

The B&B was quiet and clean & very inviting. The hostess, Kim, did everything she could to make me and my spouse feel comfortable during our stay. The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable & the homemade breakfast Kim made was delicious. I especially recommend future guests to try her home-made jellies. Overall a 10/10 quality stay at Cape Sable Island and Mama's By The Sea! :)

Super cozy bed - best we’ve slept in on our trip so far. We forgot that it was a shared bathroom but that worked just fine. Kim arranged a lobster boil for us which was fantastic! Absolutely stunning location. Cookies were super yummy too!

We completely enjoyed our stay with Kim and Zoey. Kim’s home is beautiful and welcoming. She provided lobster sandwiches upon our late arrival at 8:30 pm. The bed room was very private with everything we needed for a great nights sleep. We were surprised that we were sharing the bathroom with another couple but, it worked out with no issues! A full bacon & eggs breakfast was personally prepared by Kim. It was great fun chatting with Kim and the other guests. It really felt that we were visiting family and look forward to returning some day.

The stay with Kim was absolutely second to none! What a wonderful experience we had. Kim had offered to have a lobster boil for us at a very reasonable cost. It was the greatest experience I have had in all of Nova Scotia. Breakfast was relaxing and so easy. Great coffee. The room(s) were very clean. It felt like being in my own home. Thank you Kim for absolutely every thing.
