Frederic the property owner was very friendly and easy to reach. Things to know and concern about the apartment: 1. Located in Poble Sec, a residential neighbourhood, very close to a metro station, and about a 20 minute walk to La Rambla 2. Kitchen is well appointed, we cooked breakfast everyday to startout our day, a grocery store is nearby. 3. There is 1 bathroom which can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms. We travelled as a family and made it work but this may not work for other travellers. 4. The bathroom had an old bar of soap to wash your hands which was kinda gross. Small suggestion would be to provide liquid soap instead. 4. The bedroom with the bathroom access had nowhere to hang/ fold our clothes. There was only small night table with drawers. We lived out of our suitcases 5. The 2nd bedroom was small and only suitable for 1 person to sleep. It did have a small closet space for clothes. 6. The air conditioning units worked very well.

We loved the neighborhood where this apartment is located. So close to Montjuic Park and all the wonderful museums and gardens there. Just a short block to the metro. A wonderful vegetable and fruit shop right across the street, grocery store around the corner, bakery too, little plaza with cafes can be seen from the apartment balcony. Be prepared for some stairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to make most of our own meals. It was great to have a washing machine for clothes since we stayed several weeks. A clothesline was located out the back window as there is no clothes dryer. We had no trouble using the clothesline. We loved the tiny balcony to sit and have our coffee and watch the neighborhood activity. The apartment was amazingly quiet at night even though the neighborhood is very active during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pros:1.5 blocks to Metro Poble Sec, 3 to Plaça Espana, 5 min walk to best local tapas bars on Carrer de Blai. 5 min taxi ride from Port Vell Cruise ship Terminal. €6.75 bus shuttle to airport from Plaça Espanya-unbeatable deal. Taxis can run up to €40! Frederic let us in very early at 9am, just 1 hr after getting off the cruise ship. We waited happily at the neighborhood cafe, chatted with locals, drank delicious coffee and ate a breakfast tostada with Iberico jamon! Checkin was fast and easy! Decor is classic renaissance meets modern minimalist. Nice clean big glass shower! Water pressure strong! Great washing machine! Great fridge/freezer and kitchen. Free wi-fi! Strong cold AC!! Our friends got off the cruise ship late and waited 1hr in a long hot line for taxis. Their hosts were not fast replying and then denied early entry. They couldn't get into their VRBOs for more than 6 hours after arriving! Our Frederic was the best! 💕Even though our unit was 2 BR for just me and my son, we were able to emergency shelter 4 friends+7 kids+3 grandparents + luggage until their VRBO's opened at 3 pm! We had enough room to host/seat everyone! After they left, it felt like an empty palace! Cons: Loud construction on the building next door. 4 mini flights of narrow marble steps 30+: great for cardio, bad for our friends big luggage. (It was my 5th trip to Europe, 2nd to Spain so I knew to pack light!) Thank you Frederic! We had a great time!!!

Frederic met me at the apartment and nicely explained how to use the kitchen appliances, bathroom faucets and utilities. The WIFI and TV worked well. The apartment is very close to the Metro Poble Sec station and Montjuic attractions. Two items may need attention: 1) The electric kettle doesn't turn off automaticly when the water has boiled and may be a fire hazard if unattended. 2) The beautiful shower has a very slippery floor when wet and may be a falling hazard. Especially for the elderly.

This apartment is a lovely blend of old and new— beautiful old tile floors, antiques, then a modern bath and well stocked kitchen. We loved the neighborhood as it is near but not directly in the tourist areas. It is about one block from the PobleSec metro and bus line directly downtown, there are groceries, restaurants and bars just steps from the apartment. One caveat, there are a lot of narrow stairs to reach the third floor so it is not a good option for anyone who has mobility issues. Frederic met us right at arrival and helped with bags, he was excellent with communication and overall a very gracious and helpful host!

Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche zu zweit in Barcelona und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser gut ausgestatteten und authentisch gelegenen Ferienwohnung. Der Check-in verlief problemlos, der Kontakt im Vorfeld war sehr gut. Frédéric ist ein sehr charmanter, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns vor Ort alles gut erklärte. Unsere verspätete Ankunft durch die Flugverspätung nahm er sehr gelassen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Alles, was man zum Kochen braucht, war vorhanden inkl. Basisausstattung Kaffee/Tee, Öl, Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker. Selbst Geschirrspüler mit Tabs waren verfügbar. Der kleine Supermarkt um die Ecke hatte enthielt alles, was man für die Selbstversorgung benötigte. WLAN und Netflix funktionierte super und sorgte für Entspannung am Abend nach dem aufregenden Sightseeing des Tages. Das modern eingerichtete Bad bestach mit einer großen Regendusche. Fön und Waschmaschine inkl. Tabs waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Im Bett haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung eine tolle Kombination aus historischen und modernen Elementen, die zum Wohlfühlen einläd. Die hervorragende Lage in einem authentischen Viertel (familiär und sicher) nahe vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten, die sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind, und die sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung zu Bus und Metro läßt die Wohnung zusätzlich sehr empfehlen.

The property is well maintained and was clean when we got there. The best thing about it is its location. It is a short walk to the metro station (5 mins) and there is lots of eating establishments right nearby. Across the street are several small grocery stores and a slightly larger one in the nearby square. The apartment had plenty of room for our group of four and it’s nice that the bathroom was separate from the shower as it allowed us to multitask. The only thing to be aware of is that it is two flights up and there are no elevators. We love the view and would recommend this property to others. Additionally shout out to Frederick as he was able to help us with the request on short notice.

Frédéric nous a fait visiter l'appartement , l'emplacement est parfait, ce n'est pas un endroit qui se prête pour se préparer à manger, les appareils électriques sont sales, par contre l'endroit est propre. Nous avons eu une petite déception puisque le devant du bâtiment étant en réparation le balcon était inaccessible.

Fantastic and authentic apartment with a great location, close to shopping, public transport, and plenty of restaurants and bars. The apartment is well-equipped and has a lovely little balcony. Frederic greeted us on time and gave us great tips for our stay. If you’re into football, it’s close to FC Barcelona’s temporary home stadium, and only a 45-minute walk to Camp Nou. We’d love to come back!

Très bien situé dans l'agréable quartier populaire de Poble Sec, très bon accueil de notre hôte Fredéric, l' appartement a beaucoup de charme. Il vaut mieux privilégier les repas à l'extérieur (restaurants recommandés par Frederic) certains des précédents locataires ne veillant pas forcément à l'entretien des petits équipements usuels de cuisine (cafetières, grille pain, plat de four) . Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Anfitrião simpático e solicito. Nos deixou fazer check in um pouco mais cedo e deixou a possibilidade de fazermos check out tardio. O apartamento tinha um pouco de cheiro de mofo, e a maquina de café e chaleira elétrica estavam mofadas. A maioria dos utensílios de cozinha estavam sujos. E o banheiro (só tem um) fica dentro de um dos quartos, então não há privacidade de quem dorme naquele quarto. De resto foi tudo ótimo. Um lugar bom para dormir e tomar banho, mas não para preparar refeições ou dividir com pessoas que não possui muita intimidade.

Beaucoup plus clair et propre sur l'annonce de Vrbo que dans la réalité. Pas de rangement. On ne s'attendait pas à devoir monter 34 marches pour accéder au logement, ce qui chez nous équivaut à 3 étages. On a du aller s'acheter du papier de toilette, assouplisseur de tissus....pas trouvé de linge a vaisselle et trop rationné concernant les serviette de bain. Alojamiento sucio, oscuro, deteriorado con falta de muchas reformas. Olor a viejo y humedad, tres pisos de escaleras sin ascensor, no ventilacion ni calefaccion adecuada. Moho en techos, luz de la casa con un cable colgando del techo y atadas bombillas, Todo horrible.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt ideal, um Barcelona zu erkunden. U-Bahn und Bus sind max. 5 min entfernt und das Gelände der Weltaustellung von 1929 ist zu Fuß in 10 min erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und war sauber.Leider ist auf der Beschreibung der Wohnung / auf den Bildern nicht erkennbar, dass die Toilette und das Bad nur über das Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett) zugänglich sind. Damit wird das Schlafzimmer zum Durchgangszimmer. Bei der Reise als Paar ist das sicher kein Problem, aber wir reisten zu Dritt mit meiner Mutter und da war es nicht so ideal.Die Ablagemöglichkeiten für Sachen sind in beiden Schlafzimmern sehr begrenzt.

Frédéric nous a fait visiter l'appartement , l'emplacement est parfait, ce n'est pas un endroit qui se prête pour se préparer à manger, les appareils électriques sont sales, par contre l'endroit est propre. Nous avons eu une petite déception puisque le devant du bâtiment étant en réparation le balcon était inaccessible.

Very functional and convenient. Walking through main bedroom to get to shower and toilet a bit disappointing if a friend is using the small 2nd bedroom. The 2-3 storey walk up should be noted - but overall a pleasant place and cost-effective.

My nephew, daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this flat in Barcelona. It was spacious and the three of us were very comfortable. It is very conveniently located and there were lots of food options nearby. We will definitely stay here again!

Frederic the property owner was very friendly and easy to reach. Things to know and concern about the apartment: 1. Located in Poble Sec, a residential neighbourhood, very close to a metro station, and about a 20 minute walk to La Rambla 2. Kitchen is well appointed, we cooked breakfast everyday to startout our day, a grocery store is nearby. 3. There is 1 bathroom which can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms. We travelled as a family and made it work but this may not work for other travellers. 4. The bathroom had an old bar of soap to wash your hands which was kinda gross. Small suggestion would be to provide liquid soap instead. 4. The bedroom with the bathroom access had nowhere to hang/ fold our clothes. There was only small night table with drawers. We lived out of our suitcases 5. The 2nd bedroom was small and only suitable for 1 person to sleep. It did have a small closet space for clothes. 6. The air conditioning units worked very well.

Great apartment in a convenient location. Apartment is equipped with all you need. There was quite some noise in the building complex and on the street, but that was for us not an issue. The owner is very kind and helpful. If you want to have the feeling that you are living in Barcelona we can definitely recommend this place.

We were very lucky to stay a bit longer (5 days) in Barcelona this trip. The apartment was really lovely and quite a bit larger than I expected. The lounge, dinning room (with lots of seating) and open kitchen were perfect. With beautiful windows with Juliette balconies overlooking the street. The bedroom at the back of the apartment was very nice, very quiet, overlooking the backyards of the apartments. The owner, Frederic, met us and was very kind to help us up the stairs with all our luggage. I had hurt my knee just before traveling, and so the stairs was quite a challenge for me. It was so nice to be back in Barcelona, and nice to take the extra time to see some sites that we had never seen before. Thank you so much for your hospitality Frederic. We would definitely stay again, if we have the opportunity.

The flat is in a comfortable neighborhood with all necessary amenities such as 24h supermarket, restaurants, taparias (check Carrer de Blai). 2min walk from Plaça de Enpanya, 20/25min walk from Port Vell, likewise to Plaça de Catalunya or Barrì Gotic. Comfortable interiors, nice and spacious bathroom/shower. The neighborhood got noisy on Saturday night during am hours (2am to 4am) because of music and people screaming loud down in the street, but probably it's been an unlucky random happening for us. Die Ferienwohnung liegt ideal, um Barcelona zu erkunden. U-Bahn und Bus sind max. 5 min entfernt und das Gelände der Weltaustellung von 1929 ist zu Fuß in 10 min erreichbar. This apartment is a lovely blend of old and new— beautiful old tile floors, antiques, then a modern bath and well stocked kitchen. We loved the neighborhood as it is near but not directly in the tourist areas. It is about one block from the PobleSec metro and bus line directly downtown, there are groceries, restaurants and bars just steps from the apartment. One caveat, there are a lot of narrow stairs to reach the third floor so it is not a good option for anyone who has mobility issues. Frederic met us right at arrival and helped with bags, he was excellent with communication and overall a very gracious and helpful host!

We really appreciated Fanny who was so understanding about out delayed flight and late check in. She gave us some good eating recommendations for the locale. The apartment was really generous in size and a relaxed, if slightly dated place. Great location and quiet area.

Pros:1.5 blocks to Metro Poble Sec, 3 to Plaça Espana, 5 min walk to best local tapas bars on Carrer de Blai. 5 min taxi ride from Port Vell Cruise ship Terminal. €6.75 bus shuttle to airport from Plaça Espanya-unbeatable deal. Taxis can run up to €40! Frederic let us in very early at 9am, just 1 hr after getting off the cruise ship. We waited happily at the neighborhood cafe, chatted with locals, drank delicious coffee and ate a breakfast tostada with Iberico jamon! Checkin was fast and easy! Decor is classic renaissance meets modern minimalist. Nice clean big glass shower! Water pressure strong! Great washing machine! Great fridge/freezer and kitchen. Free wi-fi! Strong cold AC!! Our friends got off the cruise ship late and waited 1hr in a long hot line for taxis. Their hosts were not fast replying and then denied early entry. They couldn't get into their VRBOs for more than 6 hours after arriving! Our Frederic was the best! 💕Even though our unit was 2 BR for just me and my son, we were able to emergency shelter 4 friends+7 kids+3 grandparents + luggage until their VRBO's opened at 3 pm! We had enough room to host/seat everyone! After they left, it felt like an empty palace! Cons: Loud construction on the building next door. 4 mini flights of narrow marble steps 30+: great for cardio, bad for our friends big luggage. (It was my 5th trip to Europe, 2nd to Spain so I knew to pack light!) Thank you Frederic! We had a great time!!!

Parfait séjour de 3 nuitées avec un super accueil de Frédéric que je remercie chaleureusement. J'ai pu repasser dans l'appartement en milieu de journée pour récupérer mes bagages avant d'aller à la gare. C'est franchement agréable se faire accueillir en personne et d'avoir des conseils personnalisés pour le séjour. Si l'occasion se représente pour moi de revenir à Barcelone, je reviendrai sûrement dans ce gite situé par ailleurs dans un quartier très agréable à 30 mn à pied de la gare. Loved our stay in this cute, clean apartment. Our host was out of town when we arrived but had arranged for us to be greeted by someone else which was perfect. We found the location was just terrific…easy walks for our nice coffees in the am, easy access via Ave Parallel to La Rambla and some activities we had lined up, pretty terraces for prosecco in the early eve, and nice bistros in the Parlement area. We also walked all the way to the Sagrada from the apartment too which is entirely possible for those who enjoy a good walk..

The property is well maintained and was clean when we got there. The best thing about it is its location. It is a short walk to the metro station (5 mins) and there is lots of eating establishments right nearby. Across the street are several small grocery stores and a slightly larger one in the nearby square. The apartment had plenty of room for our group of four and it’s nice that the bathroom was separate from the shower as it allowed us to multitask. The only thing to be aware of is that it is two flights up and there are no elevators. We love the view and would recommend this property to others. We had a great stay. The apartment had everything we required, was conveniently located close to the metro, close to restaurants, and has two mini grocery stores across the street. Everything was clean, having laundry was convenient, and we always felt safe. Frederic was extremely responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed!

Fantastic and authentic apartment with a great location, close to shopping, public transport, and plenty of restaurants and bars. The apartment is well-equipped and has a lovely little balcony. Frederic greeted us on time and gave us great tips for our stay. If you’re into football, it’s close to FC Barcelona’s temporary home stadium, and only a 45-minute walk to Camp Nou. We’d love to come back!

We loved the neighborhood where this apartment is located. So close to Montjuic Park and all the wonderful museums and gardens there. Just a short block to the metro. A wonderful vegetable and fruit shop right across the street, grocery store around the corner, bakery too, little plaza with cafes can be seen from the apartment balcony. Be prepared for some stairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to make most of our own meals. It was great to have a washing machine for clothes since we stayed several weeks. A clothesline was located out the back window as there is no clothes dryer. We had no trouble using the clothesline. Pros:1.5 blocks to Metro Poble Sec, 3 to Plaça Espana, 5 min walk to best local tapas bars on Carrer de Blai. 5 min taxi ride from Port Vell Cruise ship Terminal. €6.75 bus shuttle to airport from Plaça Espanya-unbeatable deal. Taxis can run up to €40! Frederic let us in very early at 9am, just 1 hr after getting off the cruise ship. We waited happily at the neighborhood cafe, chatted with locals, drank delicious coffee and ate a breakfast tostada with Iberico jamon! Checkin was fast and easy! Decor is classic renaissance meets modern minimalist. Nice clean big glass shower! Water pressure strong! Great washing machine! Great fridge/freezer and kitchen. Free wi-fi! Strong cold AC!! Our friends got off the cruise ship late and waited 1hr in a long hot line for taxis. Their hosts were not fast replying and then denied early entry. They couldn't get into their VRBOs for more than 6 hours after arriving! Our Frederic was the best! 💕Even though our unit was 2 BR for just me and my son, we were able to emergency shelter 4 friends+7 kids+3 grandparents + luggage until their VRBO's opened at 3 pm! We had enough room to host/seat everyone! After they left, it felt like an empty palace! Cons: Loud construction on the building next door. 4 mini flights of narrow marble steps 30+: great for cardio, bad for our friends big luggage. (It was my 5th trip to Europe, 2nd to Spain so I knew to pack light!) Thank you Frederic! We had a great time!!!

Loved our stay in this cute, clean apartment. Our host was out of town when we arrived but had arranged for us to be greeted by someone else which was perfect. We found the location was just terrific…easy walks for our nice coffees in the am, easy access via Ave Parallel to La Rambla and some activities we had lined up, pretty terraces for prosecco in the early eve, and nice bistros in the Parlement area. We also walked all the way to the Sagrada from the apartment too which is entirely possible for those who enjoy a good walk..

This apartment is a lovely blend of old and new— beautiful old tile floors, antiques, then a modern bath and well stocked kitchen. We loved the neighborhood as it is near but not directly in the tourist areas. It is about one block from the PobleSec metro and bus line directly downtown, there are groceries, restaurants and bars just steps from the apartment. One caveat, there are a lot of narrow stairs to reach the third floor so it is not a good option for anyone who has mobility issues. Frederic met us right at arrival and helped with bags, he was excellent with communication and overall a very gracious and helpful host!

Perfect location, close to montjuic for walking and metro nearby gets you straight to park guell one way and camp nou the other. As well as rest of the city. Frederic welcomed us personally and gave us some tips which we appreciated. Highly recommend and would come back again.

The property is well maintained and was clean when we got there. The best thing about it is its location. It is a short walk to the metro station (5 mins) and there is lots of eating establishments right nearby. Across the street are several small grocery stores and a slightly larger one in the nearby square. The apartment had plenty of room for our group of four and it’s nice that the bathroom was separate from the shower as it allowed us to multitask. The only thing to be aware of is that it is two flights up and there are no elevators. We love the view and would recommend this property to others. Additionally shout out to Frederick as he was able to help us with the request on short notice.

Fantastic and authentic apartment with a great location, close to shopping, public transport, and plenty of restaurants and bars. The apartment is well-equipped and has a lovely little balcony. Frederic greeted us on time and gave us great tips for our stay. If you’re into football, it’s close to FC Barcelona’s temporary home stadium, and only a 45-minute walk to Camp Nou. We’d love to come back!

The flat is in a comfortable neighborhood with all necessary amenities such as 24h supermarket, restaurants, taparias (check Carrer de Blai). 2min walk from Plaça de Enpanya, 20/25min walk from Port Vell, likewise to Plaça de Catalunya or Barrì Gotic. Comfortable interiors, nice and spacious bathroom/shower. The neighborhood got noisy on Saturday night during am hours (2am to 4am) because of music and people screaming loud down in the street, but probably it's been an unlucky random happening for us. Overall, convenient place to be.
