Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toronto Airport South by IHG

My husband had a horrible stay at your hotel. Let me first say that I called to confirm a handicapped room and they said it was not. The lady I talked to was not helpful. She was from the booking department and since I was not booking a room with her, she did not care that my husband was in a wheelchair or not. She said no accessible rooms were available. I was crying. I called back and now she said there was a room available but she could not change it. So she put me through to the front desk. She was wonderful and changed the room for me. So, now the bed was way too soft and it made the pain in my husbands legs even worse. He had no choice but to sit on the edge of the bed all night. He fell asleep and fell off the bed. He got hurt a little. But it took his son to get him up off the floor. It was very difficult. I called the front desk to ask if they had any firmer beds. No. So they sent up a cot. It was so big he could not get his wheelchair in the room with it in there. So they had to fold it up till needed. Well, that did not work either, as when he sat on the cot, it was so soft, he sank down so low, he could not get out of it. They had to call his other son in another room to come and help. This was a nightmare of a weekend with horrible furniture that was way too soft. I would think a more medium firmness would be better for most people. The staff was wonderful and did what they could but they can only work with what they got. The breakfast was not very good.

Stort och rymligt, rent rum. Mikrovågsugn och kylskåp. Bra frukost. Stort plus för shuttlen till och från flygplatsen, både vid ankomst med flyg, skjuts till tågstationen för en dag som turist i Toronto och vid avresa till hyrbilsföretaget.
