The property was beautiful, especially at sunset. The pools were saltwater based and they were refreshing after a long day. Rooms were nicely decorated, beachy resort feel. Staff was sweet and welcoming. Great pool bar! A few items I want to mention for anyone considering staying here. When we booked our reservation via Expedia, we opted for the “pay when you arrive” option. Come to find, the property actually needs your method of payment on file prior to arriving. They don’t review their Expedia chat messages very often and are half a day ahead of the US, so it was difficult for us to get in touch. They also would not take payment over the phone, since the reservation went through Expedia. Luckily, they did not cancel our reservation but it was nerve racking for us until we checked in. When booking, you can request a king bed but it is not guaranteed. I booked travel 3 months in advance, requested a king and didn’t receive one. They accommodated us and created a make shift king with the 2 dbls, which was fine. Just know K beds are sometimes hard to come by! If you are on the bottom floor and have upstairs neighbors, be aware the floor boards creak and are thin. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our bottom neighbors came upstairs to inform us we were loud and “stomping around.” Just be thoughtful if you’re above anyone. Overall, we had a great time, and would stay here again.

The resort was beautiful. The service was good. It took a while to get drinks by the pool or beach. They also only allowed you to have one room key which meant you could not cool your room if you were not in it which is ridiculous. It was very hot. They have 4 pools and none were adults only. There were kids jumping all over including splashing water near my food and drink. At least one pool should be adults only and enforce it.

Der Service war top. Hotel war super sowohl die Poolanlage, als auch der Fitnessraum und die Zimmer. Leider war es in der Nacht teilweise sehr laut durch Geschrei von anderen Gästen oder durch den auf dem Balkon befindlichen Generator. Das Frühstück war sehr empfehlenswert, hier war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Umgebung war nicht sonderlich schön, aber mit einem Roller konnte man alles erreichen.

Excellent stay, staff was very kind, friendly and professional, the restaurant serves exquisite food and the pool takes your breath away, rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you may need, magic! It is windy though and the bathrooms don’t have a door, that is a big downside.

Great stay Ina stunning location. The rooms are perfect apart from the early morning noise from the corridor. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The pools have areas to relax or party. The beach is not a swimming beach.

5 star resort with lots of stunning outdoor pools, sun bathing & seating areas. Overlooking the beach & sea, was walking distance to the local eating places & shops. We had an executive villa with a private plunge pool. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Huge king size bed and lovely bathroom with big bath & wet room shower. Downpoint was only a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom. We paid quite a bit for all inclusive but its actually better just to go for bed & breakfast as eating out or even at the resort with the British pound was quite cheap. The resort menu was limited, same for day & evening. Also venue took some time to honor the advertised and paid for all inclusive rate we had paid. All turned out fine in the end! Friendly, efficient staff and whole place kept very clean & tidy. Would definitely recommend this resort. Free shuttle to the ferry port was another plus!

Wonderful location, even if I made a mistake by not booking a room with a sea view. That would have been amazing. Staff amazing, very accommodating and friendly. Be careful by the pools side, dangerously slippery.

The pool area is awesome. The room we had did not have nightstands beside the bed, the air conditioning was underwhelming, the television didn’t work, we had no towels on arrival (after a substantial wait), and we found a razor blade under one of the decorative towels on the shelf. As I said great pool area and the drinks there were awesome. Bartender knew his stuff and made quality drinks. Food was good as well. But the quality and care of the room was very low for a property of this pedigree. I hope this is addressed for future guests.

The pool was nice and the hotel is pretty looking. However, there are only 2 pathways to get to all of the units. We were on the first floor and there was a constant stream of people (other customers, maids, security, etc) walking back and forth by our unit. No privacy whatsoever. You have a big glass window and everyone can see everything inside the room. Didn't like how busy our front "patio" was with staff and other customers constantly walking back and forth.

Front desk staffs were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was so so. The room lacks closet and shelving. The bathroom while very large is extremely badly designed with toilet tucked beside shower and shower with no enclosure.

We stayed in a deluxe private pool villa. We came to learn that all of the villas has a 2nd floor build above them with standard rooms, which the hotel rents out to guests. During all of our stay, there was not a single night or morning that we didn’t woke up because of our neighbors from above. The ceiling is too THIN and it gets really noisy. We tried contacting the reception about this issue several times, and their solution was to downgrade our room to a standard one on the 2nd floor. To summarize, this is a great hotel, but only if you’re staying on the 2nd floor. Our stay was ruined and we’ll won’t be coming back to Vannee.

Der Aufenthalt war zwielichtig. Nach einem relativ schrecklichen Check-In (Mitarbeiter total überfordert 3-4 Familien gleichzeitig kamen an) wurden wir an eine andere Villa gebracht wie gebucht. Es entsprach keineswegs Suite Villa Sea View wie bei Expedia abgebildet. Natürlich wurde behauptet wir hätten das beste Zimmer im Hotel. Da es ausgebucht war konnten wir das Zimmer auch nicht wechseln. Vor der Villa stank es extrem nach Kanalisation, es war mühselig die Villa zu betreten oder zu verlassen. Obwohl viel schlecht verlegter Kunstrasen ersichtlich ist, ist die Hotelanlage sehr schön und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, jedoch herrschte im ganzen Hotel eine seltsame schlechte Stimmung. Zwar waren die Mitarbeiter stehts bemüht, konnten jedoch vermutlich aufgrund ihrer Erfahrung die Herausforderungen nicht meistern. Wer denkt er bekommt thailändische Kultur zu sehen wird maßlos entäuscht, es ist ein komplettes myamesisches Team das die Hotelgäste betreut. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Frühstück war gut und weitgehend genügend Auswahl. Es gab auch Kaffee to go ganz problemlos, was sehr positiv ist. Die Lage ist O.K. Der Strand schön zum ansehen. Es wird viel Müll angespüllt, der jedoch mehrmals täglich entfernt wird. Das Meer besticht im Wasser durch Steine und Algen sowie saisonellbedingte Seeigel, welches ein Baden untersagt. Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Der Pool sowie das Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt. Jedoch war der Service sehr unterirdisch, was man so nicht aus Thailand kennt. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist nicht lösungsorientiert und ignorant. Beim Einchecken gab es ein Riesen Chaos, keiner weiß was der andere tut. Die Koffer stehen verstreut in der Lobby. Wir haben unsere Wäsche Montagmittag ab und man sagte uns sie wäre am nächsten Tag gegen Mittag fertig. Als wir am Dienstag Nachmittag fragten war unsere Wäsche nicht da. Am Abend das gleiche. Man sagte uns, man würde in der Wäscherei anrufen. Später am Abend wusste die Dame an der Rezeption nichts mehr davon. Am nächsten Morgen (Mittwoch) erneute Nachfrage, jedoch war die Wäsche immer noch nicht auffindbar. Nun erfolgte ein Telefonat, die Wäsche würde um 10 Uhr ankommen. Als wir um die besagte Urzeit ankamen, war die Wäsche laut der dortigen Dame immer noch nicht da. Glücklicherweise erkannten wir unsere Wäsche hinter der Rezeption. Keine Entschuldigung und kaum Bemühungen die verlorene Wäsche wieder zu finden. Daher würden wir das Hotel nicht erneut aufsuchen, da bei Problemen kaum Hilfe erfolgt.

We ended up departing 1.5 hours after we needed to which was a bit frustrating.

Room and hotel are clean and comfortable, The pool is really beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There was no water pressure in our shower, the maintenance people tried to fix the problem with no success. I must mention that they responded immediately and did their best to solve the problem. The reception staff offered us to change rooms, it was late at night so we gave out.
