Great holiday house. Very clean and tidy.

House looks a little plain from the front but is surprisingly lovely with a terrific view

While the property was in a convenient location and had the potential to be a comfortable stay, our experience was impacted by a number of issues that should be addressed.On arrival, there were cleanliness concerns, including dirty cutlery and crockery left in the dishwasher and a dirty bowl with dried pasta sauce found in a cupboard. Some basic essentials were missing or not maintained, such as an empty hand soap dispenser in the downstairs bathroom, no bath mat provided, and no pegs or clothes horse for drying towels or clothes.The layout could also be improved for guest comfort — mirrors were only available in the bathrooms, and there was no storage or hanging space for clothes in the upstairs guest bedroom or the downstairs bedroom. The downstairs TV had no instructions and was not straightforward to use.One of the more disruptive aspects of our stay was ongoing construction work directly next door, which we were not advised of prior to booking or payment. This would have been important information to disclose in advance. Additionally, the downstairs shower leaks into the hallway, which we’ve documented with photos, and this is something that should be fixed as it affects safety and usability.Overall, while the property has potential, better communication, attention to cleanliness, and addressing maintenance and amenity issues would significantly improve the guest experience.

We had a great week away at this beach house with my husband and our two dogs. The view from the house was absolutely amazing and waking up to the ocean each morning was really lovely. The back deck quickly became our favourite spot for morning coffees, afternoon drinks and dinner. The dogs were well secured in the fenced back yard. The house itself was comfortable and fairly well equipped. The driveway is 4WD only so parking available is on the street outside the property, which wasn’t a problem for us. Also, there are building sites next door and across the road, which added a touch of industrial chic to our otherwise tranquil escape. Fortunately, the ocean view was loud enough to drown out the occasional hammer and we were out most of the time the builders are operational. All in all, a lovely stay in a beautiful location.

Fantastic location, easy walk to the beach. Kids loved the downstairs area and the multi level feature of the house. Property was very clean and comfortable. We all had a great time!
