Excellent experience overall, great staff, good choice of breakfast, all activitites included and a real find for us with beach access. Some dune climbing tested our fitness but the view was well worth it.

Quite Excellent. from book in by Karen at reception who upgraded us - to the gym and pool staff (notably Caelan), to the restaurant staff, Joe, Cara and Eloise who provided an excellent service from the dining room - carvery and take away meals. The reception staff were always helpful (Debbie). We had a truly wonderful experience in a large and clean lodge. Minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of activities on site for both adults and children. equipment for these activities on hand and respected by clients at the resort. A really super weekend break I'd have stayed for much longer given the chance.

Great stay in general, with good facilities and friendly staff. The were a couple of things I wasn't satisfied with. 1. The shower head in my room was mounted in a way which meant you had to have the water pressure low or the water streamed out over the edge of the bath. 2. Having to wait until the pool opened to use the gym seemed ludicrous to me. I was visiting for a wedding, which meant my only opportunity to use the facilities was early in the morning, but seemingly as standard you can use neither the pool or gym until 9am. 3. The breakfast options seemed pretty poor given the price I had to pay on top of a not particularly cheap room rate. The full English selection and quality was good but the only fruit option when I visited seemed to be a bowl of grapefruit, and on one of the days I was there there were no yogurts or choice of pastries.

We had a lovely family stay at Croyde Bay Holliday resort. Our dog friendly lodge was comfortable and we loved all that the resort had to offer, pool, tennis, beach nearby and their buffet breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, we will definitely be back to stay.

Good offerings for a family. Basic, no frills apartment. Wasn’t keen on the bathroom facilities as the shower position was poor and didn’t allow for easy use. Some of the bathroom facilities need updating- towel rail was rusted in some areas and the flooring was coming away on the sides. We would go back but would like to see some modernising of the rooms. Good breakfast and dinner menu. Food was nice. The pool was a good size and well maintained The surrounding gardens were immaculately kept. Reception and restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful.

Excellent location with a good range of on-site amenities. Room we had (ground floor and designed for disabled use - we’re not disabled) was not in great condition or cleanliness (e.g. there was a doggy smell lingering). Staff we met were friendly.

Our first visit and we will definitely be back! The lodge was clean and comfortable. Very impressed at the kitchen facilities with hob, cooker, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. Good selection of pans and utensils. Great for self catering! TVs in 2 of the bedrooms.

We booked this just a few days prior to arrival to spend a few days with our 7 year old granddaughter. I’m delighted to say that our experience was everything we hoped if would be - excellent accommodation that was clean, comfortable and convenient in every way. There was a problem with hot water during our stay but we were kept informed and offered alternative showering options and a very acceptable discount without having to ask. We would not hesitate to stay again and to recommend others to do likewise.

The Croyde Bay was what I had expected from reviews, but more! We could not fault it for comfort, cleanliness, food, friendliness and entailment and relaxation! Would highly recommend and come ahsin

We enjoyed our stay here, the ambience was nice, staff were friendly.. The only thing I would have commented on was the lack of lighting in their rooms. Overall it was quiet dark and because our room was overlooking the self catering lodges we had the curtauns drawn for their privacy and our own. Apart from that it was a very pleasant stay. My family enjoyed themselves alot. On that note what I didn't like was the check out time was too early. It would have been perfect for a later time to check out as we were really tired from the day before. Bit of a lie in would have been lovely. Just felt very rushed. ..Paying £120 per room per night is a bit dear and then to check out by 10am does feel a little inconvenient..

What an amazing place to stay!!! The staff were exceptionally friendly. Everything ran smoothly. The room in the hotel was spacious with a kitchen area. We requested a room suitable for my mum who has mobility issues and the room we got was perfect- no steps, near thw restaurant and with a little outside patio area. Perfect location for the town and me and daughter easily walked in via the beach and the road. Great spot for surf. A really laid back place to stay.

We were looking for somewhere to stay for a night before meeting up with family at a local holiday park for the weekend. As a family of 4 with 2 teenage sons we weren’t sure what to expect but really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would go back. The service was friendly and efficient. We came across a couple of staff who weren’t particularly helpful but the majority were fab, especially the young man at the bar who remembered us at breakfast the next day. He was new and is a credit to the hotel. The family room was perfect for us and there was a good mix of facilities. The pool is probably in need of a service as the chlorine was very strong but the pool area was generally clean. The outside areas were immaculate and it was a lovely short walk to the beautiful Croyde Bay beach. Overall, very happy with this hotel - we’ve already recommended it and had 2 other families stay there!

Quite Excellent. from book in by Karen at reception who upgraded us - to the gym and pool staff (notably Caelan), to the restaurant staff, Joe, Cara and Eloise who provided an excellent service from the dining room - carvery and take away meals. The reception staff were always helpful (Debbie). We had a truly wonderful experience in a large and clean lodge. Minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of activities on site for both adults and children. equipment for these activities on hand and respected by clients at the resort. A really super weekend break I'd have stayed for much longer given the chance.

We booked this just a few days prior to arrival to spend a few days with our 7 year old granddaughter. I’m delighted to say that our experience was everything we hoped if would be - excellent accommodation that was clean, comfortable and convenient in every way. There was a problem with hot water during our stay but we were kept informed and offered alternative showering options and a very acceptable discount without having to ask. We would not hesitate to stay again and to recommend others to do likewise.

Excellent experience overall, great staff, good choice of breakfast, all activitites included and a real find for us with beach access. Some dune climbing tested our fitness but the view was well worth it.

What an amazing place to stay!!! The staff were exceptionally friendly. Everything ran smoothly. The room in the hotel was spacious with a kitchen area. We requested a room suitable for my mum who has mobility issues and the room we got was perfect- no steps, near thw restaurant and with a little outside patio area. Perfect location for the town and me and daughter easily walked in via the beach and the road. Great spot for surf. A really laid back place to stay.

Clean, spacious rooms, not too busy, good food selection for breakfast but disappointingly limited for evening meal. All facilities well looked after and fit for purpose. Standard of customer service delivered by the staff team was consistently high. Fantastic location with excellent access to Croyde beach. Obvious that real care has been taken to provide a high quality resort facility, ideal for families.

Good offerings for a family. Basic, no frills apartment. Wasn’t keen on the bathroom facilities as the shower position was poor and didn’t allow for easy use. Some of the bathroom facilities need updating- towel rail was rusted in some areas and the flooring was coming away on the sides. We would go back but would like to see some modernising of the rooms. Good breakfast and dinner menu. Food was nice. The pool was a good size and well maintained The surrounding gardens were immaculately kept. Reception and restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful.

Great stay in general, with good facilities and friendly staff. The were a couple of things I wasn't satisfied with. 1. The shower head in my room was mounted in a way which meant you had to have the water pressure low or the water streamed out over the edge of the bath. 2. Having to wait until the pool opened to use the gym seemed ludicrous to me. I was visiting for a wedding, which meant my only opportunity to use the facilities was early in the morning, but seemingly as standard you can use neither the pool or gym until 9am. 3. The breakfast options seemed pretty poor given the price I had to pay on top of a not particularly cheap room rate. The full English selection and quality was good but the only fruit option when I visited seemed to be a bowl of grapefruit, and on one of the days I was there there were no yogurts or choice of pastries.

We had a lovely family stay at Croyde Bay Holliday resort. Our dog friendly lodge was comfortable and we loved all that the resort had to offer, pool, tennis, beach nearby and their buffet breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, we will definitely be back to stay.

We recently stayed at Croyde Bay, and our family room offered everything we needed, including a fridge, alongside all the usual essentials like an ironing board, hairdryer, and kettle. There was even an extra heater and a fan provided if needed. It was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The facilities were perfect for our family. The swimming pool area was warm, clean, and well-maintained, complete with tidy changing rooms, sun loungers, a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. While we didn't use the gym, it looked amazing. Outside, the grounds and gardens were beautifully kept, and the outdoor play area, activities, and arcades kept the family thoroughly entertained. It was fantastic being so close to the beach; I just wish we had chosen a week with better weather! The buffet breakfast offered everything you could possibly want, nicely cooked and presented, with particularly amazing poached eggs! Dinner was equally good, and I highly recommend the chorizo and honey pizza. Above all, every member of staff we interacted with was remarkably friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The only drawback occurred on our final night when some teenagers were running through the corridors banging doors. While not ideal in general, it was made worse when it woke and frightened our four-year-old, leaving us struggling to get him back to sleep. Despite that, it was a fantastic stay, and we are already looking at when we can return!

Despite being August and fully booked, nothing felt too busy; the pool was relatively quiet both times we used it. We have stayed before an absolute love the location and the onsite facilities. The only issue this year was the location of our bedroom was opposite the loading bay of the main site so we were regularly woken early due to deliveries. We would definitely stay again but request not to be in the same cottage.
