Ludington Pier House

We ended up being moved over to Shoreline for the night. It appears the pure house was under construction, but Hotels.com allowed me to reserve a room anyway. We’ve stayed at Shoreline before and it was very nice. The staff was sweet in the room has been remodeled already so it was very nice.

Great location near the beach and water

This is one of the worst days I have ever had. From the outside it’s a darling brick cottage. Inside, the floors are uneven and buckle. There’s carpeting that’s filthy in the building is musty. There is no way the room was cleaned before we got in. There was dried toothpaste in the sink. The floor was filthy as you can see in the photo. The bed is an old spring mattress with springs that are popping through and creek every time you move in the bed. The whole. needs to be gutted.

Hot tub was just a pool of warm water. Pools and tub in need of major repair which is too bad because the pool is a very nice size. Room needs more electrical outlets. We had the end top floor unit. There was a loud banging noise off and on during the night and day, may have been laundry but not sure.

The place was generally nice and very clean, but unfortunately we couldn't sleep well because of the noise from upstairs.
