Riverview Hotel

I have stayed at the Riverview in the past and loved it. This time there were a few inconveniences...ice maker out of order, bathroom sink very slow draining, tv said no signal when turned on, no hairdryer, had to ask for one at the front desk. I was only there one night so I did not complain, but for the money the room should have been perfect, imo.

Charming, historic building….perfect location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Outdoor upper pouch with rocking chairs was so peaceful. Staff was friendly too.

The room and facility was very nice and had a historical feel. The attached pub was very pleasant. We would stay here again.

A historical treasure located in the center of a wonderful colonial town. Plenty to do, even if you don't like history.

First night was great. Second night in a different room, #5, was rough. There is a bar with live music. They don’t warn you about the loud music until 10 PM. Ask before you book! The first night was on the other side of the building and was great. I tried to move rooms but the hotel was booked. I understand the guests on Friday night had to endure karaoke night.
