SWU Magazine Rooms

The location is excellent. Mehdi the staff member super helpful but the room lacked simple things like hand soap, salt shaker, or simple utensils in the kitchen area. The room is very dark and small (feels smaller than the advertised 25 sq meter). The pool is great and clean. Overall it’s a case of you get what you pay for.

Boendet ligger helt otroligt bra. Poolen på taket är okej för barnen liten och knappt några hela möbler att sola i. Rummet är helt okej men skulle behöva en uppfräschning. Toan på vårat rum luktade pissränna från nattklubben.

The location of this place is good, situated in a nice neighborhood with plenty of decent restaurants and bars nearby. One important thing to know before booking is that all communication with Magazine Rooms is done via WhatsApp. We were not informed of this in advance, and our messages through Hotels.com were never answered, which made check-in and communication more difficult than expected. Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned very well when we arrived. For example, the trash bins had not been emptied after the previous guests. After our first night, we discovered that the air conditioning unit was leaking. We woke up to a large puddle of water on the floor. Looking more closely, it seemed this had been an ongoing issue, as the cabinet beneath the air conditioner contained a significant amount of mold. Breakfast was provided through vouchers for ZAI, a café located about 200 meters from the property. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed it, but it was a bit inconvenient to have to leave the building for breakfast. Finally, the listing gives the impression that this is a hotel, but it is actually a guesthouse with limited on-site service. Overall, the location was the main positive aspect of our stay, but the lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and maintenance issues made the experience disappointing.

Rent sengetøj, fin placering og billigt, men hotellet er slidt og da der ikke er reception, kan det godt være lidt tricky at tjekke ind. Vore brusekabine var stoppet, så det var ikke muligt for os at komme i bad.
