Hot water was out for 2 days possibly more … was still out as I was checking out

The hotel's hot water system was broken down and we had no hot water for our stay. To say the least, that made showering very difficult. My family and I are here for my son's wedding and am terribly inconvienced by no hot water. I do feel that some form of compensation is in order.

Hotel is nice. My only complaint was that the pool hours are very short. 11a-7pm on wknd. Very limited when staying one night. The kind woman at the front desk, made sure my kids n I had time in pool tho. Thank you

This is a great option in the area. The only thing they don’t mention is that parking is through a community garage which charges $20 per day.

All amenities were out of order during our stay. I specifically booked for the gym and pool, but without warning, they were closed.

The hotel was wonderful. And a great location. The biggest downfall was the parking. You have to pay a lot of money to park in a parking structure next-door.

Pool was in maintenance so didn’t get to enjoy it. No restaurant or bar service on Saturday.

The location was close to restaurants. We did have children looking forward to swimming in the pool. When we checked in we saw a sign pool was closed. That was disappointing for the kids. Room was spacious and very clean. Would stay there again sometime.

Very nice hotel. They comped us the parking fee because we were not informed that the indoor pool was closed for renovation. A pleasant stay.

Rooms very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful.

Clean and modern.

Honestly, I was disappointed. The room itself was okay and the fridge worked, but it still had leftovers from the previous guest, which was off-putting. While the room was somewhat comfortable, the overall cleanliness really fell short of expectations.

It was disgusting. We checked in at 4pm, right away left for business meeting. Returned to the hotel at 9pm. The bedsheets were not fresh. The shower cabin had female hairs from previous guests, most likely. Since we had to leave at 6am next morning, we didn't care to file a complain at their front desk.

Need some attention, room was not perfectly clean; dirty glasses, windows. Shower had hairs in it. Soap, shampoo and toiletries not replenished.

Room was large. Very clean. And the king size bed was comfy.

The rug was gross and mildew build up in the shower / tub corners. I won't stay here again

We arrived to find that the hotel was undergoing as major renovation, with most of the rooms on our floor uninhabitable. Hallways were filthy, with insulation and other garbage on floor. Construction materials and tools in hallways made it difficult to reach the elevators and ice machine. Loud noise from construction fan disturbed us at night as did workers. We were not notified of work in advance and would not have stayed here is we had known. Two of three Front desk people were rude and unhelpful. Will NEVER stay at a Choice Hotel property again!

Not the cleanest hotel, apparently housekeeping is not always available on site. The couches had stains and the sheets on the pullout couch were dirty. When discussed with staff I was informed that housekeeping would only come when requested and requests needed to be placed 24 hrs in advance. Although they did supply clean sheets afterwards, this should’ve been addressed prior to check in.

Spotless and spacious room! Clean!!!! Loved it!

Huge room, but with very little in it. One thing that I’ve never seen before: the staff only come in to clean and/or make up the bed if you specifically request it and make an appointment for that. Room heating system is odd; even though there’s a thermostat, if you select heat on the thermostat it just gets hotter and hotter.

The hotel is average in a very walkable location. If you are looking for easy access to shopping and restaurants at a lower cost than a big name hotel it is worth it. Make sure you request a room with a walk in shower (it is much nicer than the tub shower option). Also, just know the street noise can be loud at night but you are in a downtown area. I also found it strange that the door to the bathroom is frosted glass so when someone goes to the bathroom at night it lights up the whole room.

I love the location, but for business you folks are lacking. Your WiFi is poor, none of the USB charging in the room is working, none of it. I've stayed at your hotel quite a bit and it seems like it is going down hill. You really need to work on the technogy, better WiFi, USB-C charging is essential!

Room was large. Very clean. And the king size bed was comfy.

The hotel is very typical with dark walls and dark carpet. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. There was little noise at night in the hallway.

Room had a few things needing upgrade

The property was in excellent shape, and the staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. The room was not set up the best. You couldn't turn the TV so you could watch it comfortably, and the electrical outlet next to the bed was broken and sparked when I unplugged a device. The room was clean, and the bathroom was large and had great water pressure.

The only thing we didnt like was the a/c was locked out at 68 degrees so we could not lower it to our comfort level. We asked for a fan to help keep the room cool at night to sleep and were told they did not have fans..

I love staying at the Cambria.. but I must say I was very disappointed with the manager as I was checking out. I had to leave the morning of my check out around 8:30am for a meeting and returned shortly after 11am to check out. Upon driving back to the hotel from my meeting I called the front desk to inquire about the $44 parking fee I was charged upon leaving the parking garage that morning. The sign clearly says $20 a night for the Hotel and I was Only there for 1 night. The woman took my call was friendly as I explained what happened she told me to Come inside to the front desk so that they could handle it. Once I arrived, I waited patiently as the manager assisted another guest who seemed to be frustrated. When I t was my turn I let him know I was ready to check out and asked how the additional $24 I was charged for parking would be refunded. I was completely calm because I figured this could be corrected until the manager told said “ you should have brought the parking ticket in to us” the third party handles the parking garage and no refund will be given. EXCUSE me, rude! I told him how was I to know that I was never informed. He didn’t want to correct the problem he just said WE didn’t charge you and slide the parking ticket/ receipt back to me. I existed. I will never stay at that location again. This was poor customer service.. I couldn’t believe it I’ve never been treated like that and even had a good stay with my children while we were in Rockville overnight.

Rooms are nice and clean. Great location. However, the front desk person at check in looked tired and annoyed checking me in. I had a tricky situation with my reservations and I called about it 3 times before my check in date and I was reassured by all reps and front desk that it's not a big deal and upon check in just let the front desk know and everything will be taken care of. When I explained the situation to a front desk lady who was checking in me in, she just asked me for the name of a people who I talked to. She also told me that I should always take names of the people I talk to - because I didn't have people's names there is nothing she can do about it. It just sounded like she was scolding me and she was not trying to accommodate and find a solution. I work in customer service myself, I live 12 mins away from the hotel, I booked the room because my meeting required quiet space where I could not be disturbed. I m enjoying the room and the area but the initial perception at front desk was not pleasant. They are front desk for a reason, check in can be done, but people are there to welcome you and assist you but no scold you and tell you what to do.

Room was nice, water pressure for shower was good. Check-in was a little rough there was a line and only one person working the desk.

The front desk staff was very friendly and made the check in process a breeze.

Good customer service , efficient service when needed , excellent location safe and near restaruants and metro station .

This is our second time staying at The Cambria Rockville while visiting DC and suburban Maryland and we loved it again. Great location in a charming “town center” with dining, shopping, a fantastic library, town square, etc. Short and convenient walk to the Rockville metro station (Red line) which took us into the city in under an hour. Spacious rooms, excellent service, and flexible and caring staff. Couldn’t ask for more! Book with confidence!

A great location within walking distance of restaurants, coffee and shops in downtown Rockville. You have to pay for parking in the garage. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The location was great for us, parking easy and the room spacious. The staff were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me a little was there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morninng.

Perfect spot by the metro to travel into the city

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. No extras like cleaning unless staying long. Parking in garage expensive but street parking available. Pool is small. Breakfast is extra.

Was surprised to find out restaurant is only open for breakfast.

Hotel is clean and modern. The bar/restaurant was not open in the evening - the bartender was on vacation. Only casual food in the neighborhood. Parking is $20/night Staff was friendly and helpful

We chose this Hotel due to it location close to the metro station, only about a 3 min short walk. Our room was spacious with 2 beds, chairs and a small sofa. Good coffee was provided in the room. The bathroom was clean and all furnishings were upgraded. Rug was a bit old and stained though. There was no musty or unpleasant smells. Parking was a breeze below the hotel. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Food in the bar/restaurant was very good as well and not overpriced.

We enjoyed our stay at Cambria Hotel Rockville, we could walk in the areas around, enjoy some restaurants and the most delicious french bakery close to it. The only “inconvenient “ we found at the Hotel is thar the breakfast time is very early and limited. So we enjoyed having breakfast outside.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Love the central location but like any city it can be noisy at times. Having a coffee machine, fridge, and microwave is great although the couch was uncomfortable. Breakfast is delicious and the bartender is the best!

Great hotel. Large comfortable room. Our meeting room and catering service was good. The bartender at the hotel bar was amazing- friendly, entertaining and made great drinks . Easy to walk to restaurants and train station.

Great stay. Would recommend. Gave 4 stars in some areas only because some amenities were lacking- no breakfast options and pool was down during my stay. That being said, the area is walkable and there was a Panera and Starbucks just around the corner.

They should keep the lobby bar open. It’s ridiculous to close it bc a team for a tournament had a block of rooms.

Lovely and would stay here again, but would have liked a complimentary simple AM coffee other than in room Kuerig
