SpringHill Suites by Marriott Baton Rouge Gonzales

I got to breakfast late. I enjoyed the spinach egg bites. Very good. Thanks for having this as a choice. I did not do breakfast everyday due early workday an hour away. Enjoyed my stay. I must return for fun and relaxation.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are excellent. The staff at check-in and check out were top-notch polite and very helpful. The ladies cleaning the rooms were polite and efficient. The one negative was the two staff members working the morning breakfast were more involved in their telephones than the buffet food or keeping coffee available. It’s a shame they did not reflect the same quality of the rest of the staff.

I forgot my I-Pad and they let me know they had it before I even noticed I didn’t have it..

It it’s what we’ve come to expect clean freshly remodeled room with great pillow choices super breakfast we will stay here any chance we get.

Staff were very courteous and helpful. However, my room was kinda dirty. Carpet was very much in need of vacuuming. The drinking glasses were both dirty/dusty despite being covered in plastic (to signify they are clean). Ice bucket was dirty/dusty inside. Had to wipe desk with a washcloth because it was sticky. There was a long, dark hair on the sheets when I pulled the comforter back to get in bed. I can understand each of these things individually (except for the lack of vacuuming), but combined it shows a general lack of proper and thorough cleaning.
