Villa Roberta Spartia Kefalonia

Very relaxing, perfect place to relax and enjoy the view!

Villa was lovely. Fabulous position and views. Well presented. Very large outside area and gardens with semi-covered parking. Lots of sunbathing space including shaded pergola. Beautiful pool and nearby bathing platform for sea swimming down steep road. Excellent covered dining space and BBQ. Good Aircon. Comfortable beds. Decent well provisioned kitchen and lounge area. Freelance communication and instructions terrific throughout. Great holiday. The location is perfect but a car is essential. The roads are awful and the drive to the villa is narrow, treacherous and very steep/hilly (30%). Don't rely on Google maps! There are a couple of half-decent restaurants within a 15 mins drive but otherwise a long drive (much longer than stated '15 mins') to Argostoli. Walking requires stamina! The villa was great although the 3rd bedroom is smaller than expected. Fridge doesn't get cold enough (freezer fine) and together with dishwasher might benefit from a service. We felt mid-term cleaning/linen change was rushed and could have been better.

Our stay at Villa Roberta was wonderful. It is a beautiful villa in an incredible setting overlooking the sea and across to Zakinthos. The villa is modern throughout with plenty of hot water for showers. The outside space works really well with a very large covered area to cook, eat and relax when it gets too hot. The infinity pool is exactly as seen in the photo's, stunning and not too deep so ideal for pool games. This was our second booking with Freelance and will not be our last because they provide an excellent all round service.

The location of this house is stunning, the house itself is great and the Freelance Villa’s communication is excellent. Don’t be intimidated by the drive, you get used to it very quickly. We loved our stay and wished we’d booked for longer than 7 days. We will come back.
