The room was very nice, bed and pillows were comfortable. Check-in was easy, though the elevator is very small so it’s challenging to get luggage upstairs. The complimentary breakfast was so delicious and served fresh to our room which has a table with 2 chairs for us to eat. The bathroom was clean and shower was fine, though the shower head needs replacement as it was spraying in different directions instead of straight down which made the floor wet until you shut the door. Overall, the hotel was very nice and compared to other hotels in Rome you cannot go wrong staying here. We would likely stay here again in the future!

Christina is a great host who goes out of the way to make your stay comfortable. The location of the B/B is excellent just steps from Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona. There are 60 steps to get up to the rooms so ensure you’re ready to carry your luggage up. The rooms are comfortable, nice bathroom and cold AC. Breakfast and coffee each morning is well done and just right. The shuttle to the airport set up through Christina was also very good. Would definitely consider staying there again next time we are in Rome

Prime location property in the heart of city center. The host is super friendly and helpful. She made our stay easy and definitely went out of her way to help us and treated us to a complimentary treat! Only thing the property is on the second floor. The elevator is on the first so we had to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs to the elevator. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast in room was really nice and the staff was accommodating. So happy there was an elevator! The location close to Campo do Fiori was a bonus as everything was in walking distance. We would stay here again.

This place was fantastic, once you have found it and figured out how to get in. The rooms are huge and clean. The location is incredible... right near Campo di Fiore. So many dining options, lively piazza at night and beautiful food, flowers and gift market in the morning. We walked to all the major sites from this location. Now that i know where it is, i would stay again. Warning... there are a good flight of stairs you have to go up before you reach the tiny elevator. Two people with luggage cannot fit in the elevator and dragging heavy luggage up that first flight of stairs was tough. I highly recommended unless you have mobility issues.

Great location, easy to walk to most of the major attractions in Rome. Dining options were five minute walk to Campo de Fiore. Also easy to grab a cab from Campo if needed. We would stay here again if passing through Rome. The only minor drawback is the stairs up to the elevator were more than a couple as advertised.

Shops are around, the market is just nearby, friendly and responsible staff, clean spacious bathroom (soap and body&hair soap provided). They had a good hair dryer. I personally liked the bed as well. We didn't order breakfast, but complimentary croissants were provided! I loved it here. Just below is FYI: The place is not too close to public transportation (but less than 10 minutes away) and the roads are paved. So, if you have big suitcases and don't want to carry them, I recommend taking a taxi. The building has a small elevator, but you need to go up the stairs to the first floor to access it.

Everything was wonderful and I absolutely recommend! The only downfall is that even though there is an elevator, one still needs to go up a few flights of stairs which was annoying with our luggage. The pickup from the airport was wonderful, definitely recommend it! The street where the building is on is not vehicle-friendly so taking a taxi or uber requires a little bit of a walk on cobblestone. The area is lovely, very well centered and walking distance to many of the sites such as Vatican City, Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. Cristina is a gem!

Stayed here in March of 2025 and it was a fun stop. This set of rooms is nestled in a historic section that is perfectly centered to access some of the most iconic sites and it’s just 8 -10 minutes to the tram that connects to the train line from FCO to the Termini station. The room is high above the street level. There’s a set of stairs as you enter, but then there’s a lift that will take you the rest of the way up. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the room condition is excellent. It’s a very nice size room with a very high ceiling and nicely chosen furniture. The windows open fully for fresh air. One thing to note is that even though you’re well above the street level, it’s busy very late into the night. We received very clear instructions for check-in and were treated very kindly. Fresh croissants in the morning. Lots of food and coffee options close by. After check-out, we were able to leave our bags there until we were ready to leave so this made it more comfortable for exploring. We’d book here again.

Christina and her staff could not have been more helpful with assisting us in navigating around the city and making our stay very comfortable. Breakfast every morning as ordered and on time. Room was delightful and cleaned each day. Will not hesitate to return to this wonderful place to stay that is also very convenient to the local tourist attractions and hot spots!

Very clean, accessible, and comfortable. The host, Cristina, is extremely nice. She made sure to leave a pastry each morning for breakfast, and she was a pleasure to meet. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Rome!

The hotel and staff were lovely. We had a comfortable clean large room with a nice private bathroom. The staff was very helpful, welcoming, professional. The service was excellent and it was very thoughtful to have cornette delivered each morning. The building was right next to the Campo di Fiori, a delightful location and very convenient to sites. It was charming to stay within a residential property. However, the building itself was not as clean as the hotel, and there were many stairs which would make this hotel less accessible to some individuals.

Good location, albeit noisy at night from the street. The windows helped a lot here with keeping the noise out. Entrance hall and stairs up to the “hotel” were grubby and really need a clean. To call itself a hotel was aiming high, it’s really more a an Air BnB without kitchen. I feel the price was far too high for what was on offer at $293 per night. The lift only goes from the second floor and elderly people will find in hard going to carry luggage up the stairs. Check in was a bit of a nonsense but then I may have missed some communication about the procedure on how to enter the property and our room. I thought I was booking for the JB Relais Luxury Hotel I had found on a previous search. After searching for other places I return to the JB Relais not realising it was not the luxury hotel. Quite misleading I feel, and judging by the decor on both hotel listings they are clearly the same company. Was this worth staying at? Yes if you’re into an Air BnB vibe, there are only 3 rooms at this version of the Hotel and the price should be lower to reflect that. But defiantly not worth it if you’re looking for an actual hotel.

Sono così felice di aver trovato questo posto per il mio soggiorno a Roma! Christina e il suo staff erano così accomodanti e cordiali! La mia camera era molto pulita e mantenuta e la posizione era eccellente. Christina è stata molto reattiva e si è assicurata che mi sentissi a mio agio. Questo è un posto fantastico in cui soggiornare e tornerò sicuramente di nuovo!

Great location to explore Rome. Nothing we wanted to see was out of walking range. Cristina was amazing and very responsive. She also arranged for airport transportation both ways. Those with mobility issues would have difficulties as there are some stairs. Room was clean and very spacious for Europe. Although it is close to a main area, the windows they installed were great for blocking the noise. Highly recommend this property.

A definite 10/10 for me. What I loved about this was: Location - close to the market, lots of shops and restaurants. Beautiful room furnishings. Room was equipped with everything you might need - toiletries, hairdryer, slippers, espresso machine, iron, fridge, tv. Cristina is a wonderful host. She answered my queries through email, helped with transport and is very friendly and efficient. Clean and nice pot pourri smell :) Will definitely choose this place to stay again ... well done ❤️

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was very comfortable and the hosts are responsive and helpful. Biggest issue is that the walls are thin, so if you have a neighbor, there can be noise earlier in the evening. People were generally respectful late at night to keep the noise down.

Such a nice place to stay, so convenient and close by to the markets and some great places to eat and drink nearby. The room was lovely and the aircon was MUCH appreciated! Overall great place and a great addition to a lovely Rome trip

WONDERFUL! I was so surprised how large our room was for Rome. Check in instructions were easy & spot on. King size bed!!! Big windows that opened to street for fresh air which we like. 100% sound proof when closed to block street noise. could see Campo d’ Fiore from our window which was great for shops, food, restaurants close by after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast served each morning in our room…warm croissants & rolls along with yogurt, coffee, juice. Perfect. Room cleaned perfectly every day and fresh towels. Staff SO friendly and helpful. If I had to pick a small fault, it would be that new bed pillow are needed. Bed linens and towels were great but pillows could use a refresh. WONDERFUL! I was so surprised how large our room was for Rome. Check in instructions were easy & spot on. King size bed!!! Big windows that opened to street for fresh air which we like. 100% sound proof when closed to block street noise. could see Campo d’ Fiore from our window which was great for shops, food, restaurants close by after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast served each morning in our room…warm croissants & rolls along with yogurt, coffee, juice. Perfect. Room cleaned perfectly every day and fresh towels. Staff SO friendly and helpful. If I had to pick a small fault, it would be that new bed pillow are needed. Bed linens and towels were great but pillows could use a refresh. Stayed here in March of 2025 and it was a fun stop. This set of rooms is nestled in a historic section that is perfectly centered to access some of the most iconic sites and it’s just 8 -10 minutes to the tram that connects to the train line from FCO to the Termini station. The room is high above the street level. There’s a set of stairs as you enter, but then there’s a lift that will take you the rest of the way up. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the room condition is excellent. It’s a very nice size room with a very high ceiling and nicely chosen furniture. The windows open fully for fresh air. One thing to note is that even though you’re well above the street level, it’s busy very late into the night. We received very clear instructions for check-in and were treated very kindly. Fresh croissants in the morning. Lots of food and coffee options close by. After check-out, we were able to leave our bags there until we were ready to leave so this made it more comfortable for exploring. We’d book here again.

Christina and her staff could not have been more helpful with assisting us in navigating around the city and making our stay very comfortable. Breakfast every morning as ordered and on time. Room was delightful and cleaned each day. Will not hesitate to return to this wonderful place to stay that is also very convenient to the local tourist attractions and hot spots!

A little bit hard to find initially but worth the search. It’s not your typical Marriot or Hilton. If you want something like that look elsewhere, but if you want authentic Italian this place is for you! Can’t say enough about how helpful and accommodating Cristina was to us. Great location close to most touristy places. We rented a Vespa from nearby by Roma rentals (highly recommended also) and could get just about anywhere in the city in 10-15 mins.

Both nights that we stayed there was very loud music started around 1:00 am until 4:30 am. We reported this to the hostess and she would took care of it. Even after the police came, the music started again. It is a missed opportunity for the hostess that she did not come by to see how we were doing. That's a shame, we have been able to do less during our trip due to lack of sleep.

O edifício onde ficam os três quartos desse “hotel”, tem três lances de escadas até chegar ao elevador, super antigo, normal para Roma. Não há ninguém para receber os hóspedes a partir das 11h30. Loved this place and Maria was the most amazing host. She went out of her way to help us get our luggage up and down to our room and called us a cab while pulling out suitcase a block down the street and got us a good deal for a cab so we would t get taken advantage of. The croissants she hung on the door each morning were such a treat and the coffee maker in the room made the perfect cup. We would definitely stay there again if we ever make it back to Rome.

Perfect location and everything we needed. Walkable distance to all major tourist hotspots in Rome. Breakfast can be brought to your door at the time you require between 8am-10am. Host was very sweet and responsive and offered a lot of good information for first time visitors. The location was perfect for our first visit to Rome. It was quiet at night, walkable to all the major historical sites . There are a lot of good restaurants conveniently located nearby. As others have mentioned, the lift is small, but adds to the charm of the historic building and it worked well for us.

The room was very nice, bed and pillows were comfortable. Check-in was easy, though the elevator is very small so it’s challenging to get luggage upstairs. The complimentary breakfast was so delicious and served fresh to our room which has a table with 2 chairs for us to eat. The bathroom was clean and shower was fine, though the shower head needs replacement as it was spraying in different directions instead of straight down which made the floor wet until you shut the door. Overall, the hotel was very nice and compared to other hotels in Rome you cannot go wrong staying here. We would likely stay here again in the future!

Var overordnet rigtig godt tilfreds. Små ting kunne give opholdet 5 stjerner. Vi bestilte lufthavnstransport da vi ankom. Her blev vi kørt til det forkerte hotel (Luxury). Det lå heldigvis kun 400 meter væk. Det kunne være dejligt med enten lidt flere bøjler eller en knagerække til tøj. Vi havde kun i alt 5 bøjler og ikke andre steder at hænge jakker osv. Stedet er ikke for dem som har svært ved at sove. Vinduerne blokerer rigtig godt for støj - men man kan stadig høre lidt fra gaden. Fin morgenmad - dog var kaffen altid kun lunken. Men det er små ting. Stedet ligger vildt centralt - nemt at gå til alt. Og værterne var utrolig søde.

JB Relais is an amazing BnB! The location is centrally located. We walked to the sites in Rome. We even walked back to the BnB after lunch to get some rest before our next schedule attraction site. It is very clean. It is a safe area. The Campo De Fiori market was next to the building , and was a great bonus! No need to carry what we bought, we were 20 steps away from it so just brought the things the we bought back into our room. Will book there again!

I had a great stay at JB Relais and would absolutely recommend it, especially for a solo traveler or couple. The accommodations are more apartment-style than a traditional hotel, which I really enjoyed. My room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with plenty of closet space and AC. The hosts also left freshly baked croissants each day, which was such a nice touch! I actually didn’t meet the hosts in person until the end of my stay, but their communication was excellent. They reached out well in advance of my arrival and followed up multiple times to confirm when I would be arriving, make sure I was safe, and ensure I understood the self-check-in instructions. They were also readily available through WhatsApp if I had any questions. Once I found the property, getting inside was very easy and I felt completely safe and secure throughout my stay. The hotel also arranged a private car to pick me up from the airport, which gave me a lot of peace of mind arriving in Rome for the first time. For future travelers, I would probably recommend comparing the price with Uber, as I found Uber offered lower fixed pricing for trips into the city center. That said, having everything arranged for me in advance was very convenient and reassuring after a long flight. The entrance can be difficult to spot from the street at first, and there are quite a few stairs, but they help with bags if you arrive and they are onsite. I also paid an €6 tourist tax by card. I would definitely recommend!

The entrance can be difficult to spot from the street at first, and there are quite a few stairs, but they help with bags if you arrive and they are onsite. I also paid an €6 tourist tax by card. I would definitely recommend!
