Hotel Trecento

We spent three nights here. Very cool elevator! We would definitely return. Location was perfect. The hotel was a bit tricky to find as we’d never been in Rome but learned that’s not uncommon. AC was needed after a day of touring anround. Only complaint is the shower had sporadic pressure.

I was a bit sceptical when entering the building. It house the hotel along with a few other businesses. Once we made our way to the hotel floor, there was some repair work going on. Our check in went well and they were able to accommodate us a couple of hours early. Room was cool (important in Rome in July), clean and had funky lighting with a whole room remote control. We weee given a couple of bottles of cold water and access to a lounge with free coffee and snacks. The location was great and easily walkable to all the sights, shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

El hotel ocupa el segundo piso de un edificio viejo pero hermoso. Son pocas recamaras y están decoradas modernas y son inteligentes. Todo se enciende y apaga con un control. Esto es un poco laborioso en lo que entiendes cómo hacerle. Y en dos ocasiones se nos encendió la TV en la madrugada El hotel está en la mejor zona. Todo queda cerca. No tiene estacionamiento ni banqueta para parar el auto esto si fue muy inconveniente pero en Roma casi es igual en todos los hoteles de este nivel. El servicio de los concierges fue excelente. El único inconveniente que tuvimos fue que el baño olía muy mal. ,como a cloaca. Nos explicaron que las tuberías son viejas y que con solo dejar correr el agua de la regadera se iría. Si se iba pero cada vez que llegábamos de un día pesado era el mismo olor incómodo. Para todo lo demás lo súper recomiendo

Very nice place in the heart of downtown. Can walk to anything from the hotel. Rooms were modern and boutique style. Small reception area which was upstairs. Elevator was difficult with luggage but workable.

Hotel was close to the coloseum, Patheon and Trevi fountain. All less than a 15 minute walk. Excellant area to be in for easy access to everything. Hotel had an elevator, office on the second floor, recently remodeled an unusual lighing system, a/c worked great and the rooms were spotless.

The hotel was convenientlly located within walking distance of many attractions. We were not pleased that there is NO parking anywhere! We had to drive to the airport to return our rental car and then get a taxi to return to the hotel. 3 hours due to the amount of traffic in Rome. Lots of dining options nearby as well. The only down side is the lack of parking.

Está en la avenida principal de Roma eso es muy bueno, todo bien quizás el hotel, está un poco difícil de ubicarlo por qué está en el piso 2 del condominio.

Hotel Trecento kicked off visit to Italy by arranging for a car service to pick us up at the airport. We arrived to find that the hotel was in the middle of everything, on Rome's most famous street, within easy walking distance of The Trevi Fountain, The Coliseum, and other must-see landmarks. Tommaso, the General Manager, was so helpful in showing us the many amenities of our rooms, and providing us with history about the area and building. There was a small elevator that was welcome for transporting luggage. The rooms have a very modern decor, with a lot of technology for working the lights, TV, air conditioning, and more. Being a not very tech-savvy person, that did present a bit of a challenge, but we managed. One thing to note: the bathroom is entirely glass (although frosted in some spots), so it may not be as well suited for modest travelers.

Hotel Trecento is located in perfect location to walk to all main points of interest Elevator to second floor is an experience. Air conditioning worked perfectly and water, coffee and soda all complimentary. Staff was great, easy check in and check out.

We visited this hotel a month ago and rather than leave a knee jerk reaction I like time to reflect and be honest. Undoubtedly a brilliant location, can easily walk to all major sites. We arrived after the 9PM check in time and kept the reception informed, who waited for our arrival. To be honest when booking I didn’t realise it was more of a guest house rather than a hotel, otherwise would have re thought about it. We’d have liked 24hr reception and maybe a bar facility. Staff was welcoming and room was clean. We were talked through how to use TV, Jacuzzi etc as this is a tec guest house. As with all tec things go wrong. Couldn’t get the TV to work during our 5 night stay and mis-told how to operate the jacuzzi. Four nights in managed to get the jacuzzi working. Very expensive room for what you get. We purchased a room with a city view, see photos below of our city view. Thankfully didn’t spend a huge amount of time in the room as Rome is magnificent. We feel this room was far too expensive for what you get.

Very modern clean hotel, great location

The hotel is in a great area and the in house staff are very helpful. The rooms were not maintained very well, such issues as cracked shower screens , faulty shower and marks on the wall was what we found. The cleaning of the rooms was not good, marks and stains all over the place along with the cleaning staff not swapping bedding regularly and not showing up at all on some days.

Otima localização, recepcionista muito educado e atencioso. Quarto bem higienizado e organizado.

The room was decent. The plexiglass shower walls were cracked. The A/C did not work well. Staff was not available in the early morning to assist.

Great location, friendly staff. On arrival the shower hadn’t been cleaned and the smashed shower screen let the room down. Complimentary Nespresso coffee and biscuits in reception was a nice touch

I stayed here last week for two nights with my girlfriend on the first leg of our Italy trip. The hotel itself was easy to find and extremely centrally located. The first day we wondered with no plans and found our way to many of the major landmarks just minutes walk from the front door. The rooms are nice, they are kind of small but were exactly what we wanted and needed. We did not want to spend much time in the room anyway! The front desk was extremely helpful. We messaged on WhatsApp throughout the day and he was very helpful with recommendations on dining, site seeing, transportation. etc. I would recommend staying here due to its location and affordability.

The staff was beyond helpful and kind. If there was an extra star for the staff then I would give it to them. A huge complaint was the smell in the bathroom. We thought it was a dirty towel or a drain at the beginning but it ended up being black mold under the boards in the shower. My daughter and I woke up to swollen faces and red eyes. I took photos and had I known where the smell was coming from right away then I would have changed rooms/hotels. We are allergic to mold and especially black mold. Other than that, I would stay there again.

Amazing staff, such a clean room. Super friendly and accommodating. Hotel is in a safe location and is well secured.

The hotel is located perfectly in Rome with walking dostance to all major sites. Staff was great and rooms had everything we needed and always clean!

The room was ready before we even checked in, which was fantastic since we had a long flight. The room was spotless and smelled wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and included so many amenities. We will stay here again when returning to the city and will tell all our Friends about this place as well

This hotel is in a great location. My room was clean and quiet. The lights and tv are controlled by a mobile phone and PlayStation device, which was frustrating as the lights went out after about 15 or 20 minutes and there were no written instructions for the tv. I would definitely stay there again and write down what to do. Staff are very friendly.

The location was great, the staff was very kind, so I feel bad saying this, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The bathroom is surrounded by glass and you sit on a toilet that faces the bed - which is the only place to sit in the room and offers no privacy. We did not have good air conditioning in our room and were told to open the window instead - so we did, and listened to very noisy streets all night. The lights are more complicated to control than they needed to be, I’d rather have a light switch than to be able to change the color of my room. There’s a mirror on the ceiling which allotted for us to see weird stains on our bed. Overall, was just not a comfortable stay for us.

The hotel location is great for walking to the colosseum, piazza navona, trevi fountain, and many other spots you dont want to miss. However, the rooms were odd to me. There is a smart phone that controls everything in the room from AC to lighting. They sell this as "state of the art" but its really just difficult. The AC would never turn on either no matter what we tried. The TV is controlled only by an Xbox, which was also very strange.

The high ceilings, comfortable bed, large bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, lotion was wonderful! And we arrived early and could store our bags and had early check in. We needed help to understand how to work the tv and adjust the air conditioning, We called a number and provided the assistance.

This is certainly a unique hotel. Great location, funky lights, hottub, lots of wacky stuff - fun - great shower.

Stayed in Junior Suite Corso (room 311) 2023 October. Asthetically the room is a fun modern take on 1970s kitsch style, and I mean that in a good way. Hotel is entirely on the 2nd floor. Small (4 persons), but delightfully old fashioned lift. Reception is manned from 9am to 9pm. Guests are provided with a front door key. Good: - The staff were friendly, pleasant and very helpful. - Room cleaned well every day. - The bed, pillows and bed linen were clean and good. - Lots of towels and soaps, replenished daily. - Excellent location, right by Piazza Venezia, which is central and a hub for many bus routes. Trevi fountain is closest, only 10 minutes walk away. - After a long day walking, the in room massage chair and hot tub (jacuzzi) were just wonderful. - Room is fairly spacious. - Air conditioning seemed to work fine. - Standard hotel digital combination type safe in the wardrobe. - Nice rainfall shower with LED lights and also handset spray. - Windows are double glazed, and have internal wooden shutters. - Good fixtures and fittings. - A small (typical hotel minibar size) fridge. - Hair dryer provided seemed good. - Mood lighting available in multiple colour options. - Free wifi 20 Mbps. Not so good: - The lights, aircon, etc controlled by an app which is a little bit flakey. - Street outside is a bit noisy. Double glazing and shutters do quite a good job of blocking most of the sound, but we could still hear a little street sound.

It was a very convenient location that was within a short walking distance to the major attractions. The colourful lights in the room were cool and we appreciated the complimentary coffee and snacks. The staff was nice and helpful. Sometimes the hot water wasn’t working and was a more of a warm/slightly cold shower though.

Very easy checkin and checkout. Friendly helpful staff. The hotel was well worth the price with clean rooms filled with smart technology and great air conditioning. I would stay there again for my next time in Rome.

We only had 2 nights at this hotel but i have to say it is now one of my favourites i have stayed in. The staff were polite and very helpful, perfect location to shops, restaurants and tourist spots. The tech theming was such a bonus for us as we appreciate the lighting. Extremely comfy beds, wonderful shower and the fact you can watch netflix, youtube eyc on the tv is a massive bonus. Only critic i have is when the room is too hot and you open the window you can hear the cars on the street which can be very loud but when windows are closed you cannot hear anything. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be staying when we return to Rome.

The toilet had stopped flushing. They fixed it within 1 hour. Everyone was very frienfly and accommodating. We will be back.

Amazing stay. Customer service was 10/10. Perfect starting point to visit main attractions. Too eats around too!

Great place and the staff were even better. They stayed late because our flight got delayed and made a bad situation so much better and stress free.

The staff was always friendly. Our rooms were always kept clean. It was extremely comfortable coming back to a clean room after a long amazing day of sightseeing. The location of this hotel is perfect, a ten minute walk to the Colosseum and Pantheon etc, it is also on the main shopping street, some great shops nearby. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby too. Tommaso was a superb host, extremely helpful and courteous. I would stay here again upon my next visit.

The Hotel Trecento was amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do and where to eat. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the High Rating The hotel is definitely not as good as its rating suggests. While the room itself looked nice, it was completely overshadowed by an unbearable smell coming from the old sewer system. It made the space almost uninhabitable. I spent the entire day trying to get the issue resolved or to be moved to another room. Unfortunately, the front desk staff was unhelpful and dishonest—they kept stalling and making empty promises until 9 PM, after which there’s no one available to help. It became clear they were just trying to run out the clock. I ended up spending 36 disgusting hours in that smelly room. Only the next day were we finally moved, and the only compensation offered was a bottle of sparkling wine—not nearly enough to make up for such an unpleasant and frustrating experience. This was far below expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel based on how they handle serious issues and treat their guests.

This was our second visit to Rome. We walked to pretty much all the sights including the collesseum, palatine hill, Jewish ghetto, Spanish steps, pantheon and trevi. Shopping nearby was fabulous which I liked bette than our last trip. Coffeee shop nearby open 24/7 which was an added bonus.

Nice hotel in a good location. The service was good and wellcoming but there was no 24H desk. The location was perfect to explore the city. A big problem need to concider - it is a very noisy location with around the clock sirens! Imagine an ambulance driving 8 meters from you at 4AM in the morning while the windows are old and not sealed properly.
