The resort has everything you would want for your stay. There are plenty of options nearby but we chose to enjoy the hospitality and relax here. Bass, our waiter, kept us fed and hydrated. The entire staff was wonderful and made us feel like family. We will be returning for future stays. The beach here is the best on the island.

Was very lovely property. Quiet. We did think it might be closer to the busy part of Chaweng but it was tucked away. We loved it and only a 200BhT taxi anyway. Nice local restaurants/massage,etc. No air con in the bathrooms which surprised us but it was absolutely fine. The beach was AMAZING and the loungers perfect. Great place to stay would recommend

Loved the pool area and the infinity pool with amazing views which also had a private beach, the sea was very high but this isn’t in their control. Rooms were clean and spacious, only 20 minutes walk to Chaweng so it was quiet but also easily accessible to busy areas. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I did enjoy my stay at Casa de mar! The staff was always very kind and helpful and the accommodation was beautiful, especially the pool area. The breakfast buffet was also good and I liked that you were able to individually decide if you wanted to eat breakfast that day or not. The price was 350 baht. The only thing which was quite annoying, was that the beach withdraws during the day, which made it quite hard to swim in. But you were able to borrow stand up paddling boards for free to get to the deep water :)

Lovely clean modern rooms. Pool area and restaurant were nice and relaxing. Position on the beach means you can’t walk the length of the beach to other bars and restaurants when the tide is in but it’s a great place if you don’t want to stay in the crowded busy main beach area.

L’hôtel est bien situé sur la plage de Chaweng et pas loin des bars de plage et l’aeroport. La plage est accessible via le restaurant et il y a pas mal de chaises longues. La piscine est très bien aussi. La salle de sport est petite mais il y a ce qu’il faut pour s’entraîner correctement. Ma chambre était dans le bâtiment principal. Elle a été nettoyé tous les jours et j’ai demandé également un nettoyage approfondi de la VMC dans la salle de bain car à chaque mise en marche de la poussière sortait. Le nettoyage a été fait dans l’heure qui a suivi ma demande. La climatisation fonctionnait bien. J’avais toutefois un problème de wifi qu’ils n’ont pas su régler. Donc ils m’ont fourni une sorte de mini box à la place. Le wifi de la piscine fonctionnait bien lui.

Solid hotel for a short stay on Samui - would choose a bungalow/villa over the rooms in the main building (which feels a bit detached and basic). Pool area is nice enough, though directly attached to open area of main restaurant and quite shady for second half of day. But you cant argue with the view over the rest of the bay!

Nous nous attendions à un hôtel plus charmant. Ça ressemble à un immeuble vieillissant. La mer à marée basse était inexistante. Expérience étrange que nous ne renouvellerons pas. Cependant c’était propre, mais ça peut être très bruyant selon les voisins. Super restaurant à côté olivio.

The rooms where very clean and in a very hood conditions. Everything worked. The restaurant had a good view and food was tasty. The service was also good. There was not a lot of privacy in the rooms, and it felt like a fishbowl.

Fantastiskt fint hotell med magiskt läge precis vid vattnet. Poolområdet har flera olika typer av solbäddar, sittpuffar och havsutsikt från restaurangen. Tyst område med mycket växter och vacker utsikt, precis som på bilderna. Även mycket nöjd med rummet som var rymligt, modern och fräscht. Uppe på gatan fanns restaurang och massage men jag rekommenderar moppe om man vill kunna ta sig runt då det inte finns så stort utbud precis nära hotellet.

Très bel endroit, chambre agréable avec la possibilité d’avoir une chambre avec sa propre piscine! Évitez les chambres au Rez de chaussée avec passage pour rejoindre la piscine ou le restaurant (peu manquer d’intimité). Nous étions au 4eme parfait ! Petit déjeuner merveilleux et personnel aux petits soins

Ligger i et stille område. Fin strand, dog ikke plads at ligge på sandet. God morgenmad. Vi boede først i bungalow, det ligger meget tæt på de andre, så intet privatliv da man kan kigge direkte over på genboen, og alle folk går forbi. Boede efter et par dage i hotellet, det vil jeg klart anbefale, det er billigere og der er privatliv.

Ligger i et stille område. Fin strand, dog ikke plads at ligge på sandet. God morgenmad. Vi boede først i bungalow, det ligger meget tæt på de andre, så intet privatliv da man kan kigge direkte over på genboen, og alle folk går forbi. Boede efter et par dage i hotellet, det vil jeg klart anbefale, det er billigere og der er privatliv.

We stayed in the villa beach view and it lovely to view the sea from the bed. Away from all the noise of Chaweng. Bed was very comfortable . Restaurant was nice too. I would repeat my stay.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Always smiling. Bed was so comfortable. Torrential downpours with flooding in large parts of the Island with Power outages but lights stayed on here. Unfortunately as i was largely confined to the room, the wifi network & tv internet could use a boost.

L’hôtel est bien situé sur la plage de Chaweng et pas loin des bars de plage et l’aeroport. La plage est accessible via le restaurant et il y a pas mal de chaises longues. La piscine est très bien aussi. La salle de sport est petite mais il y a ce qu’il faut pour s’entraîner correctement. Ma chambre était dans le bâtiment principal. Elle a été nettoyé tous les jours et j’ai demandé également un nettoyage approfondi de la VMC dans la salle de bain car à chaque mise en marche de la poussière sortait. Le nettoyage a été fait dans l’heure qui a suivi ma demande. La climatisation fonctionnait bien. J’avais toutefois un problème de wifi qu’ils n’ont pas su régler. Donc ils m’ont fourni une sorte de mini box à la place. Le wifi de la piscine fonctionnait bien lui.

Was very lovely property. Quiet. We did think it might be closer to the busy part of Chaweng but it was tucked away. We loved it and only a 200BhT taxi anyway. Nice local restaurants/massage,etc. No air con in the bathrooms which surprised us but it was absolutely fine. The beach was AMAZING and the loungers perfect. Great place to stay would recommend

Loved the pool area and the infinity pool with amazing views which also had a private beach, the sea was very high but this isn’t in their control. Rooms were clean and spacious, only 20 minutes walk to Chaweng so it was quiet but also easily accessible to busy areas. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely clean modern rooms. Pool area and restaurant were nice and relaxing. Position on the beach means you can’t walk the length of the beach to other bars and restaurants when the tide is in but it’s a great place if you don’t want to stay in the crowded busy main beach area.

The resort has everything you would want for your stay. There are plenty of options nearby but we chose to enjoy the hospitality and relax here. Bass, our waiter, kept us fed and hydrated. The entire staff was wonderful and made us feel like family. We will be returning for future stays. The beach here is the best on the island.

Très bel endroit, chambre agréable avec la possibilité d’avoir une chambre avec sa propre piscine! Évitez les chambres au Rez de chaussée avec passage pour rejoindre la piscine ou le restaurant (peu manquer d’intimité). Nous étions au 4eme parfait ! Petit déjeuner merveilleux et personnel aux petits soins

Ligger i et stille område. Fin strand, dog ikke plads at ligge på sandet. God morgenmad. Vi boede først i bungalow, det ligger meget tæt på de andre, så intet privatliv da man kan kigge direkte over på genboen, og alle folk går forbi. Boede efter et par dage i hotellet, det vil jeg klart anbefale, det er billigere og der er privatliv.

Ligger i et stille område. Fin strand, dog ikke plads at ligge på sandet. God morgenmad. Vi boede først i bungalow, det ligger meget tæt på de andre, så intet privatliv da man kan kigge direkte over på genboen, og alle folk går forbi. Boede efter et par dage i hotellet, det vil jeg klart anbefale, det er billigere og der er privatliv.

The rooms where very clean and in a very hood conditions. Everything worked. The restaurant had a good view and food was tasty. The service was also good. There was not a lot of privacy in the rooms, and it felt like a fishbowl.

Fantastiskt fint hotell med magiskt läge precis vid vattnet. Poolområdet har flera olika typer av solbäddar, sittpuffar och havsutsikt från restaurangen. Tyst område med mycket växter och vacker utsikt, precis som på bilderna. Även mycket nöjd med rummet som var rymligt, modern och fräscht. Uppe på gatan fanns restaurang och massage men jag rekommenderar moppe om man vill kunna ta sig runt då det inte finns så stort utbud precis nära hotellet.

We stayed in the villa beach view and it lovely to view the sea from the bed. Away from all the noise of Chaweng. Bed was very comfortable . Restaurant was nice too. I would repeat my stay.

As a solo traveller staying a deluxe villa I was overall happy with my stay at Casa de Mar. The property is in north Chaweng and is quite a distance to the main parts of town, but it's a short taxi ride or a nice walk along the beach, and the resort is much more peaceful than some of the busier party resorts. My room was spacious and clean, and I was lucky to get a room facing towards the ocean (not exactly an ocean view as it's facing the back of the villa in front, but many of the villas actually face each other, which feels a bit less private). The bed is comfortable and there's some complimentary mini-bar items including crisps and noodles. The large bathroom had a separate bath and shower. The couch out the front is nice to sit outside and relax. There's not really any windows in the room, but lighting is sufficient. There is an outdoor light on the patio and on the first night I could't figure out how to switch it off, and it's quite bright under the curtain (I eventually found that the switch is outside and hidden in a plastic box, but it would be good if the staff mention this when they show you to the room). The restaurant staff were friendly and the food and drinks were great quality, including the breakfast buffet where you can order eggs cooked the way you like. I did however find it really annoying that other guests would light up a cigarette in the dining area while I was eating (and also on the sun lounges areas).
