Selborne Hotel

Nice hotel in the city centre, large room with balcony. Excellent value, we were a bit concerned about the low price but no need to be as safe and clean. There really is a pool and garden at the back. Some street noise in the evening but quiet at night. The quoted breakfast for two people costs almost as much as the room but we were offered a much cheaper option that was still very filling. We did not have dinner on Sunday night as some uncertainty about the chef being available but easy walk to KFC and a bottle of wine! On the second night we walked to the Bulawayo Club which I can strongly recommend for the atmosphere and excellent cheap food. The streets seem quite safe to walk in the early evening.

I cannot say enough about how good my stay at Selborne was. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and well appointed with en suite facilities. A good breakfast is served. The hotel is centrally located in Bulawayo and convenient for many restaurants and shops. I stayed 7 nights and used it as a hub for visiting the sights of Zimbabwe. A great hotel at a reasonable price.

Hotel renovations needs to be finalised with a professional small finish. There ought to be a hotel restaurant,to cater for residents dietary needs,including room service.

It was nice and clean good wifi Super helpful staff Christine was amazing . The ladies as well very welcoming and always ready to help. Grounds guy doing a good job as well its central so lots of amenities nearby

Very spacious clean rooms with a balcony. Decent Internet connection though can ne better. Staff were friendly and helpful especially. The manager was well accommodating considering that my departure was late afternoon.
