For the most part everything was pretty good. TV cut off several times throughout our stay.We would be in the middle of a show and the tv would cut off.We had to unplug it, then it would work.Yes, we informed the front desk.Tech came around 10:00 a.m., check out was 11:00 a.m.Everyone was nice. The hotel and casino IS NOT CONNECTED.You have to leave the hotel and walk about 800 feet to casino which opens at 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Front desk ladies were nice enough. Although almost all the vending machines didn't work or stolen your money and they didnt seem too concerned on fixing them or issuing a refund. Rooms could use a little updating. Not enough bath towels for 2 ppl. Seems AC couldn't keep up and room seemed warm at night time. Bathrooms were clean bed was comfortable. Disappointed that everything closes so early & no options for night owls. The worst part was the i looked into the bottom of the ice bins that dispersed ice it was full of sludge & black mold. Very underwhelmed, not a place that i will go back to.

I reserved room 404 and 406. After check in (1/13), I pulled the sheets on the bed back as I do every time I stay at a hotel (room 404). I noticed a bug crawling underneath the sheets. On the other bed in the room, I discovered what was likely washed blood stains on the sheet. I told the receptionist and was offered room 416. On 1/14/15 (late night return), I returned to room 416 after leaving the casino and to my dismay I discovered a roach crawling on the desk area next to the tv. I mentioned my experience to the manager upon check out and was advised that the room would be sprayed and if activity was discovered I’d receive a call. I advised her that I covered the roach with the plastic cups next to the tv. This is clearly unacceptable. I have yet to receive an apology, nor have I received a call to discuss my experience. As a manager in the largest hospital system in Houston, TX, I can attest that the experience and lack in follow up is unprofessional and should not be considered best practice. I will however note that the night receptionist was very kind, understanding, she tried her best to pivot my initial disdain and concerns. Her efforts were much appreciated.

My last stay was extremely nasty, I woke up at 3am to shower when I stepped into the restroom I felt something at the bottom of my foot so I just wiped it off, when I looked to see what it was I realized it was 4 very small roaches.. when I looked on the floor I noticed about 12 small roaches all over the floor, I am extremely afraid of insects so I was completely grossed out.. when I told the woman that checked me out, she didn’t apologize she just said she would waive the late check out fee, i accepted that because i could clearly tell she didn’t care..10 days later i still don't have my refund.. I stayed up all night worried about a roach crawling on me in my sleep and they refuse to refund my $40 late check out fee( honestly $40 just to stay an extra hour is ridiculous to me anyway).. what aggravates me the most is the fact they act like it was no big deal, to me it was..I paid over $200 just for 1 night and I had to pick up roaches and wash them off of my feet, that’s ridiculous.

First, I’ll point out the positives: this was the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. Now the negatives: the food in the casino was very pricey but good. After paying online, at check-in I was required to pay a $100 deposit for I don’t why, maybe the managers thought that I would steal a pillow or two. Next thing that I didn’t like was that you couldn’t set the thermostat lower than 66 degrees and the fan didn’t have an auto option. The last thing that I noticed was that whoever makes the beds had the flat sheet on top of the bedspread, but other than that, it was a nice stay

The room was clean and nice but I do think it’s time for the hotel to think about cleaning the carpet. And the young ladies that checked us in and the one that checked us out needs to work on their customers service skills , did not make you feel welcome at all. For the most part the staff was ok. The accommodations were nothing, like how it was advertised. The room smelled horrible and the carpet extremely. dirty. We had to find another hotel and checked out early because the environment affected my allergies in a major way. The was only one restaurant open, However, in the advertisement it stated 3 restaurants. I also inquired multiple times, prior to booking, how close it was to the French Quarters. I was told 10 to 15 mins by car. In reality it 30 plus mins away from the French Quarters. Be close to the French Quarters, was very important to us. As a long time, costumer, I'm very disappoint with Expedia, as I book my vacation through. They too provided me with incorrect information prior to me booking this vacation.

We chose this hotel due to it not being too far of a drive from there to the French Quarter. The hotel itself seems a bit run down. The bed in our room was fantastic! Most of the time the beds in hotels give me terrible pack pain…but not this one. Very comfy! Hopefully they renovate the property soon and restore it to the 5 star quality it once was.

Nice room by Casino. Large walk in shower. Didnt find a breakfast area in walking distance so we drove to one. Stayed at the hotel so we could go to the Zoo and WWll museum. Both are in short distance drive of the hotel..

The of viable eating facilities was not pleasing. The Kiosk breakfast was a joke. The hotel itself was nice and pleasing. However the parking was a competition with casino guests vs hotel guests.

It was way over sold on the web site. Said food options, there were none. continental breakfast none. coffee none. everything was closed. There for 3 nights 4 days only food option small sandwitch shop.

The staff was so friendly, property was clean and attached to casino. The deli food was overpriced, but decent. Made traveling with kids easy.

The stay was fine. They only had 1 restaurant open on Tuesday, and the food was barely editable. One thing that was disappointing was that I didn't receive the $15.00 in food and drink voucher.

nothing matched the website, no buffet no slippers. the few restaurants were over priced, lacking advertised items. Casino had very limited staff for drinks, took forever to even get water.

Front desk ladies were nice enough. Although almost all the vending machines didn't work or stolen your money and they didnt seem too concerned on fixing them or issuing a refund. Rooms could use a little updating. Not enough bath towels for 2 ppl. Seems AC couldn't keep up and room seemed warm at night time. Bathrooms were clean bed was comfortable. Disappointed that everything closes so early & no options for night owls. The worst part was the i looked into the bottom of the ice bins that dispersed ice it was full of sludge & black mold. Very underwhelmed, not a place that i will go back to.

First room we were given reeked of smoke, even though the rooms were non-smoking. The staff was quick and friendly with getting us into a second room. However, the door of that room was difficult to close without lifting the door. Moreover, even though we had the AC running, the room was HUMID and there was a wet smell inside the room. One of the pillows did not smell clean. The TV sat on the desk in the room, so the desk/chair felt pointless. The TV should have been on its own stand or mounted.

The way the base of the bed is made causes the mattress to sag i had to put pillows under the side of the mattress because it felt as if i was going to fall off the bed. When this old traveler is tired the thing i want the most is a comfy bed. All else was excelent.
