Island Breeze Motel

Loved the grills around the pool. The maid kept outside very clean. The only disappointment was the mold on the bathroom wall. Carpets on my opinion should be taken up and hardwood floors or ceramic etc since pet friendly

Pool was very clean and well maintained

Nice property, i stayed here with my wife and 12yr old son. And our french bulldog also tagged along. Everything was good, no complaints, will definitely be staying here again. Short walk to the wildwood board walk, and wildwood dog park on the board walk. Nice pool with enough seating and tables. Nice bar b que grilles you can use while the kids play in the pool. Thanks again

Parking was no fun. Parking spots were to small. TV and Air conditioning didn’t work properly.

The towel bar was broken and obviously put back to hide. There are poor patch areas on the wall. Chairs and one mattress cover stained. The bathroom tub has chips in it. Front door lock difficult and need a to be changed. The young lady at the front desk was fabulous. Pool area is nice

The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient.Originally we were put in the annex across the street on the opposite side facing a huge solar parking lot. I asked if we could be moved and the gentleman in the office was very accommodating. One thing I wonder is if we were moved to a less expensive room,why I was charged for the original room. The room itself was simply okay. It needs updating. It was horrible but wasn't appealing. The top of the dresser was somewhat sticky. The bathroom seemed clean but gave off a not so clean vibe. There was an envelope to tip the maid service,however, our second morning we left the room and when we came back that afternoon, our room was untouched. We left the following morning so I didn't understand what the maid was asking for. My uncomfortable bed was unmade and the room was untouched while we stayed there. The bed actually crinkled when you lay in it, like there was a plastic liner. The hotel is pet friendly,and I can see that a lot of people with dogs take advantage of that. I would HIGHLY suggest the hotel if you are bringing a dog or two with you. It works perfectly. The pool was cleaned thoroughly on our first night. I was sitting outside the room which was right next to the pool gate (didn't make for much of a view however it was better than the first room). The man spent 45min cleaning the pool which impressed me. Other guests grilled and left the utensils laying there,a hotel worker came and got them in order to clean them .

Its conveniently close to the boardwalk/ beach, the pool is always clean, the staff are always willing to help with anything we need and they are super friendly. We stay here because we have our 2 dogs, who are always welcome by the hotel. This was our 2nd stay at Island Breeze. We'll definitely be back.

CLOSE TO BOARDWALK....CLEAN POOL..FRIENDLY HOST & MAID

The facility was very clean. Pool was sparkling . One of the best features in the closeness ( less than 100 yards) to the boardwalk and almost exactly center of it. Staff and owner very accommodating!!

Convenience , cleanliness hospitality owner very helpful. Only inconvenient item was parking which each spot was kinda small.

Our stay was satisfactory. The property manager was extremely friendly and attempted to be accommodating. However, the room was extremely dirty all along the windowsill. The floor under the beds were filthy. The bathroom towel bar was hanging off the wall by two very loose screw. The toilet seat was also very loose along with the sink faucet. We were afraid to use it for fear it would come apart and we'd have a flood. The towels and bed sheets were dingy. I know it's a beach motel but surely they can do a lot better to make the accomodations much cleaner and nicer.

This was our second time staying here. This time around the room felt cramped and had some cleanliness issues. The bathroom tub was not the cleanest and the carpets obviously were not vacuumed in quite sometime. There was old cereal from a previous stay all over the floor and old clothing from a previous stay. The location is great but they need to do better with cleanliness if they want repeat customers.

Very clean… pleasant staff!! Nice pool and literally a half block from the boardwalk! We didn’t have to use our car to go anywhere.

We came for our first family vacation with our new baby. We came last year and it was clean but this year it was not so good. The bathroom had tons of mold in it. Our room had someone’s used contacts on the floor, food crumbs, and an empty can of soda by the bed. We’ll look for somewhere else to stay.

The place is old, but it was clean. It is in a great location; the owner was very polite & accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was kind. The room was clean & the bathroom was beautifully updated. We appreciated the clean towels daily. The location was excellent, just a minute walk to the boardwalk! I definitely recommend staying at Island Breeze.

The bed was to soft! I quick walk up the block to boardwalk and food options are unlimited! The pool area is clean and inviting! Only downside for our stay was the stairs We were on the third floor! Thank you for a good stay!

The location is excellent. The staff were great! They allow dogs. However the bed was HORRIBLE. It literally sank in the middle and you could feel the springs in the bed when you sat on it. The room had a very stuffy feel to it even with the AC on. The shower curtain had mold spots.

Hotel was clean. check in was perfect. Air conditioner ran off and on all night and was loud.

Island Breeze is a cozy little motel just feet from the boardwalk in Wildwood. They have a clean and sunny pool area and comfortable rooms. The motel is ideal if you need a pet friendly stay, but be ready for some dog noise. The accommodations are modest but fine for what we paid.

Staff was not accommodating to our prior arrangements with requesting a ground floor room, even after several confirmations that we would have a ground level room. The rooms are old and desperately need upgrades. The bathroom is gross, leaky sink. The furniture was written on with marker, and chipped headboard and side table - looks old and needs to be replaced. They provide shampoo and conditioner in little ketchup packets, no bottles. The beds were terrible and uncomfortable. Only 3 pillows for each bed. The sheets looked like they were supposed to be white, however, they looked worn and old and very much off-white. The rooms do not look how they look in the pictures online. Very much false advertising. Even with our issues, staff did not make or offer any accommodations. It’s a dump. Would not stay here again.

Location was great and staff was very friendly. Pool looked nice too, but we didn’t get to use it. Hotel room was severely dated and we were hoping for a little more considering the price. Stains on carpet, old furniture, older beds, older coffee maker, etc. Fortunately we didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel room, so it didn’t impact our trip too much.

Clean, beautiful property, stone’s throw away from the boardwalk, with the MOST amazing staff! Mark is the best. The nicest. The most accommodating. He went above and beyond to make you feel at home. They have been very impressive in their service. We will definitely book this hotel again with this outstanding experience.

I booked this hotel last minute and the office was closed. But the owner put us in another condo property right away which was beautiful. Both properties 5 star for Wildwood!!! Excellent service and communication. Thank you again!

Wry enjoyable stay at this very well maintained hotel. lovely room with nice touches. But more than anything very well managed by the owner and his super helpful team. The best.

Booked the hotel along with a family member. We called ahead to make sure we would be next to each other. The manager agreed. We were only next to each other for a day then had to move to another room. The room we were previously in did not have anyone in it for two day. Talk to the staff they did not try to fix the problem at all. We found two pills in the room on the floor as we have a small toddler we went to the front desk the owner blew us off when we told him. There was trash underneath the bed. There were people on the 3rd floor smoking weed. Online it says 24 hour front desk service and that is not the case. I defiantly do not recommend this place. It’s sad the old owner was so nice. We will not be returning.

The Island Breeze is a family friendly stay who also welcomes furry four footed family members as well, which is the big reason we chose to stay here. The property is very close to the boardwalk and a short walking distance to the Wildwood dog beach. When I checked in I could smell the cleanliness of the property and the owners were very welcoming! We had one minor problem with the TV and the owner came and fixed it right away. The refrigerator wasn’t the typical small cube fridge that many properties have. It was a full size fridge which was a plus! Also the pool was very inviting after a warm day on the beach! If you want a place with a friendly vibe, that’s walking distance to many different activities in Wildwood, I definitely recommend this place!

Great staff and owner Mark was fantastic

My wife and I needed a pet friendly location for 1 night as we were catching the early ferry out of Cape May. Mark was very helpful at check in, giving us room options for our older dog and pet friendly dining recommendations! The Mud Hen Brewery served up great food and their own beer was tasty. Didn’t have a great nights sleep as the AC unit functioned okay but was very loud! Didn’t feel it was worth complaining about and we left early to catch the ferry anyway. We had an unexpected voicemail from Mark later in the day to tell us that they noticed the AC unit wasn’t functioning properly and wanted to make it right by offering a full or partial refund! To us this was customer service going above and beyond and would consider staying again if we are looking for a place to put our heads before catching an early ferry.

Near everything

Great location for my family. My son loves gateway 26 arcade and this hotel was literally right there! It’s very close to the boardwalk and the beach. It also has a perfect view of the Friday night fireworks! The owner of the hotel was the best. He was extremely nice and accommodating. The hotel is very well kept from the common areas to the rooms. It is a very clean place. I am thankful I found this place and will definitely be coming back every year.

Room was a bit tight with little moving room for more than one person, but it was pretty homey. The location was perfect with everything being within walking distance and being right off the boardwalk. This felt like the perfect location and we were able to just jump into the days activities, hassle free. Would definitely come back.

Perfect location for quick and easy access to Boardwalk. Loved our stay. A warm welcome, uber friendly attentive staff. Ultra clean and very well maintained property. Safe, clean neighborhood steps from Boardwalk. Great for our stay. family friendly environment with a sparkling pool, Definitely highly recommended. We plan another stay next time. Fresh smelling rooms,comfortable beds, coffee maker w/supplies, frig. and even a toaster and mini microwave. Well lit parking. Most impressive is how well maintained and clean this property is. Don't hesitate. Have a chat with Mark, the manager on your way in. Accommodating and professionally ran establishment. Solid 5 star recommend for 2 to families. Zero disappointments for our stay.
