Amazing stay at Pansion Pomena ! Our arrival was very easy, the flat we had was the one up top and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The guesthouse is located conveniently near the port and the ticket office of the Mljet National Park. -10% discount on restaurant Melody was very appreciated. Would definitely recommend for a stay in a quiet yet wonderful accommodation.

Hyggelig vertinne ventet på oss når vi kom fra fergen. Varm velkomst med varm eplekake. Vi fikk informasjon og anbefalinger om stedet. Rommet var enkelt, men som beskrevet. Vi fikk bruke bakgården til å sitte i og henge opp tøy. Det bor en hane der som til tider var ivrig i tjenesten og som kan være sjenerende tidlig på morgenen. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

The bedroom was spacious and we also had a lovely balcony with views down to the harbour. We were met by our host on arrival and he showed us on a map some places to see in the national park. Due to ferry times, we arrived before the normal check-in time but our room was still ready which was appreciated. The bed was a bit soft but we still managed to sleep well. The window shutters helped to keep it nice and dark too and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchenette was small but well equipped, although we didn't cook that much as the range stocked by the local shop was not that wide! The one downside was the water for showering and washing up which was tepid most of the time.

Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et donnent de bons conseil notamment pour les restaurants. Notre chambre était très propre, climatisée avec une jolie vue sur le Parc. L’emplacement quand à lui est idéal pour accéder au parc et au port.

The owners were very nice but this didn’t really compensate for the fact the room was tiny, airless and had a broken window shutter which meant light streamed in at sunrise; and the air-con unit directly above the bed just added to the nocturnal misery. Maybe the other rooms are better - who knows? In short, there are better budget options in Mljet.
