Wyndham Hotel Melbourne

Good location and nice to have all the amenities in the room including a balcony, kitchen facilities and washer and dryer (although we didn’t use these on our short stay). There is a small window in the bedroom that doesn’t have a blind which let sunlight in before we wanted to be awake. It would be good to have a second luggage rack for two people and the wardrobe was quite small and awkward to access behind the bedroom door. The lounge was a bit uncomfortable to sit on as it was a sofa bed. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible for doing makeup. We had a nice view towards Southern Cross station and it was easy to access transport to explore Melbourne. The suggestion to attend a 90 minute presentation (seemed like a timeshare type push) on checkin to get a free breakfast and voucher was a bit odd and we were glad there was no follow up. While we didn’t use them, the gym and library facilities looked good - hotel guests would be sharing these with building residents.

We booked 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ensuite apartment for 1night so experience is limited however it was vary spacious throughout , including the 2nd bedroom . Excellent wardrobe space . Nice modern openplan kitchen , fully equipped. Cannot comment on pool or laundry as didn't use Hotel is also well located

Bedrooms could be bigger was hard to get around the beds. Needs better lighting in bathroom. Toilet paper wasn’t easy to flush. Otherwise room and location was good.

Room was clean and housekeeping came every 3 or 4 days. King bed was a bit bouncy but room was quiet. The rooftop pool was nice however the black plastic pool loungers& faux grass were super hot.1 chairback was completely broken off and during 6 weeks never fixed

At check in had hard sell for ownership presentation which was last thing on my mind after travelling for 12 hours.
