The room was facing the street. You can not open the window. Stuffy smell in the room from lack of fresh air. Had to open the hallway window and room door to get some oxygen into the room. No ventilation noted. No A/C Provided with a small fan which did not work when pluged in. Borrowed one from my cousins room as her room was facing the court yard and had 4 windows that could be opened. No smoke detector in the room noted. For the two nights someone was moving chairs till late at night. No clue where the noise was coming from. Nice proper fridge Nice bathroom Comfy clean bed Elevator Lots of shops around Walking distance to train station Rooms should not be rented out until ventilation issues fixed.

Não conseguimos ficar hospedados. Não usufruimos de nenhum dos apartamentos. Chegamos em um dia muito quente. Os apartamento não tinham ar condicionado apenas ventiladores de pedestal. Um ventilador estava com defeito. As janelas não abrem dificultando a circulação de ar. Tudo isso nos causou um transtorno e um ônus enorme pois tivemos que ir para outro hotel. Solicitamos o reembolso imediato pois o outro hotel ficou bem mais caro.

Fanns tyvärr ingen möjlighet att göra rummen kallare, ingen fläkt eller ac. Öppnades fönster blev det högljutt från gatan nedanför. Ingen möjlighet att göra rummet mörkt med gardin eller persienn.

Esta propiedad no tiene aire acondinicoonado y peor no tiene ventilacion. La ventana no se puede abrir. La cortina no funciona.. un ventilador de mesa oequeno y rito. No dan opcion de cambio de habitacion. Pocos tomas corrientes. Estuvimps 2 noches, no hicieron la habitacion ni pusieron jabon ni champu. Solo 3 , uno tv ,uno bano y uno lampara de noche. Alrededores sucio. Y feo. Entrada entre dos negocios de comida indu. Olores fuertes . Y extremadamente caro para lo malo que esta. No regreso. No reciendo

Pieza amplia y con cocina, refrigerador y lavavajillas. Cómoda para cocinar. Lo malo es que nos costó encontrar como cerrar y abrir las cortinas, además que la ducha estaba mala y se caía la cabeza y el tubo. Ubicación un poco lejos de la estación. Aceptable, pero en un barrio Indio bastante ruidoso.
Pieza amplia y con cocina, refrigerador y lavavajillas. Cómoda para cocinar. Lo malo es que nos costó encontrar como cerrar y abrir las cortinas, además que la ducha estaba mala y se caía la cabeza y el tubo. Ubicación un poco lejos de la estación. Aceptable, pero en un barrio Indio bastante ruidoso.

Check in was quick but the property has no staff (fully automated). The room was pretty terrible, and had a rotten bathroom door. The room was very hot (somehow way hotter than outside) and difficult to sleep in. The blinds for the window did not work. The tv did not work. There were very few power outlets , one of which would only have power if the light switch was turned on. The shower had collapsable walls and the water just pours out underneath then to the rest of the bathroom. Overall a terrible room and would not recommend it to anyone. The location is the only saving grace.

Preis-Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Gute Lage nahe Zürich HB. Sauber und viel Platz. Küchenaustattung recht spärlich. Leider war die Lüftung sehr laut, weshalb man nachts schlecht schlafen konnte. Zudem war es sehr warm (über 25 Grad bei geschlossenen Fenstern). Keine Temperaturregelung möglich.

The lack of crockery and was dirty plus lack of cooking pans, lack of curtains as 2 will not do 4 windows. Leaky sink with bucket underneath to catch drips, nothing to sweep floor with and dirty manky stinking sponge left on sink.

The room was not perfectly clean, very basic and several little damages on wall or bed. The all atmosphere is really cheap for the price you pay and even more due to the people in the stairs or in the corridor. Nothing more nothing less that what is announced. At least bed seem cleaned.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und zweckmäßig möbliert. Sehr gute Betten. Das Bad war ziemlich neu und sehr in Ordnung. Allerdings ein großer Minuspunkt für die nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage. Es war eine Hitze in dem Zimmer, die fast nicht auszuhalten war. Der Standventilator brachte nur wenig Abkühlung. Auch der intensive Küchengeruch, der am sehr frühen Morgen in das Zimmer zog, war unangenehm. Es war etwas schwierig, das Hotel zu finden, denn die Orientierung ging tatsächlich nur über die Hausmummer. keine Leuchtreklame. Der Zugang war nicht sehr schön, aber es hat mit dem Code gut funktioniert. Die Umgebung geprägt von Barbershops, Dönerimbiss, usw.

The property was dirty. No heating, we were freezing for 2 night. The toilet was disgusting with blood on the front of the toilet which made us really sick. No 1 answer my email RE heating operation. It was terrible but cannot get any accommodation near by as the rain and the snow keep coming.

Clean room. No kitchen just a medium size room. No rubbish bin, fan not working. All night been hot and so nosy due to people and cars all night. Very rough area nearby.

Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt gut. Der Boden und das Bad war sauber. Der Spiegel muss dringend repariert/ausgetauscht werden das der Rahmen aus dem Leim geht. Die Badezimmertür ist am Abschluss aufgequollen, die sollte auch ausgetauscht werden. Für eine Nacht würde ich wieder buchen.

It was horrible! Dirty rooms. No air-condition, its like sleeping inside the oven. The very dusty Fan was not even blowing any air. Floor was very dirty, it looks like it was never clean for months. Customer service was useless. I requested few things but i was ignored, i found the housekeeper to ask questions but she was very nasty with bad attitude. Over all it was a hell! Stay away from this place. The neighborhood also kinda sketchy. A lot of random people hanging out outside the entrance and it doesn’t feel safe. Room also doesn’t have double lock inside.

Obwohl es nicht erlaubt ist, in der Unterkunft zu rauchen, hat es sehr nach altem Rauch gestunken. Vielleicht sollte man die Vorhänge ab und an Waschen, damit der Gestank aus dem Raum geht. Preis/Leistung voll ok.

Suited our purpose for overnight. Small room but comfortable bed and excellent shower with clean towels & bath wash - no disposable cups. Very hot day and no air con and fan unsuitable, opened window to noisy street and loud people till very, very late. Excellent instruction for key and lift and wifi. Lots of local eateries.

The property was so convenient for my trip as was an easy walk from the train station. Comfortable and convenient. Downside : street very noisy and bed linen not very warm. No standard European power outlets and had to buy an adapter

I had initially booked this hotel without reading the reviews, and to my dismay, they were absolutely horrible. By the time I realized this, it was too late to cancel as I had chosen a non-refundable option. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found that the room wasn't as bad as described in the previous comments. It was clean and spacious, but the lack of air conditioning was a major drawback. Unfortunately, the weather during my stay reached around 30 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit), making it quite uncomfortable. I had to resort to opening the window for ventilation, which thankfully was an option in my room, unlike in some other rooms, I assume. To make matters worse, there was a restaurant nearby that seemed to attract very noisy guests, predominantly of Indian descent (nothing against the nation). I want to emphasize that it wasn't just regular noise, but rather loud conversations and screaming. The restaurant turned into a party venue both nights, and the noise persisted until midnight. Even though my room was located on the 4th floor, I could almost hear every word being uttered. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel to individuals with sensitive ears or to those seeking a peaceful rest after a long day of traveling through Switzerland. I had initially booked this hotel without reading the reviews, and to my dismay, they were absolutely horrible. By the time I realized this, it was too late to cancel as I had chosen a non-refundable option. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found that the room wasn't as bad as described in the previous comments. It was clean and spacious, but the lack of air conditioning was a major drawback. Unfortunately, the weather during my stay reached around 30 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit), making it quite uncomfortable. I had to resort to opening the window for ventilation, which thankfully was an option in my room, unlike in some other rooms, I assume. To make matters worse, there was a restaurant nearby that seemed to attract very noisy guests, predominantly of Indian descent (nothing against the nation). I want to emphasize that it wasn't just regular noise, but rather loud conversations and screaming. The restaurant turned into a party venue both nights, and the noise persisted until midnight. Even though my room was located on the 4th floor, I could almost hear every word being uttered. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel to individuals with sensitive ears or to those seeking a peaceful rest after a long day of traveling through Switzerland. Additionally, the neighborhood surrounding the hotel had an Indian influence and was not as clean as other parts of Zurich.

All those things were fine, but … there was nobody to contact in case of a problem: if you lock your key in the room; or if someone closed the door from the inside that cannot be opened from the outside without a physical key that we don’t have. And the note on the door says: keep the door closed at all time ! This is bad, there is nobody around to help you. And why is th TV operating only if you have the ceiling light on, and gets shut off automatically when you turn the light off?? This is so designed.

I reported and message the hotel twice about the kitchen sinks drain was not working since I arrived the place. But until I check out and no one even bother to message me back or came to fix it. It end up I can’t use the kitchen and have to dine out for my entire stays there. Also it locate at a very noisy street too.

Nice area but I had to stay in a pitch dark room for 2 days as they didn’t manage to organize the remote control for the blinds. Really annoying.

Awful accommodation!! Yes it was very cheap and I expect people to think you get what you pay for. Bathroom door had swelled due to wet floor in the past. Every time you pulled the door shut the handle would fall off. Had a heatwave during our visit. The fan in the room was broken. When we contacted the number provided by Expedia they said there was nothng they can do. As we were about to leave the hotel on our last day the cleaner had placed a new fan right outside the room ready for the clean up. Why couldn’t this have been brought a few days earlier. Obviously lazy and don’t care about the guests!

Wir waren im Dezember für 4 Nächte da. Der Zustand ist nicht dem Eindruck, der hier vermittelt wird, entsprechend. Kein Problem mit einfacher, zweckmäßiger Einrichtung, aber zumindest funktionstüchtig sollte sie sein. - Jalousie war bei Ankunft runtergelassen und kaputt bzw. Bohemian neighborhood was fun and reasonable in such an expensive city. Self check in was quick but we had questions and no one to call. No soap or wash clothes,shame. I had to use my own soap to wash forks.

Room key provided did not work, customer service phone posted on door was out of service. We found another phone number online and when we were finally able to contact management, they were absolutely rude. We had to wait outside the room for almost 2 hours. Management never apologized. No hand-soap in room, no a/c, internet did not work, and bad smell in hallway and room due to a food stall in the first floor. Manager said he did not care because I had already paid and he would never reimburse. Horrible place to stay.

An sich ist die Unterkunft für einen Städtetrip, wenn man nicht viel im Zimmer ist gut. Es hätte noch sauberer sein können. Da es sehr warm war und man die Fenster nicht öffnen konnte war es trotz Ventilator sehr warm im Zimmer. An sonsten war alles super. Die Ansprechpartner waren telefonisch erreichbar und nett.

Property has not provided any toilet paper, no dishwashing liquid, very limited utensils and cutlery for 5 days stay. They haven't provided any remote for blinds. Also there was no one to assist. They don't pick up the call as well.

For a lady travelling on her own this was not the property to stay in. Noisy with an Indian street cafe under my room so there was a delicious smell of Indian cooking all day and night and lots of people in the lobby blocking the door into the building. I was on the first floor, and maybe this added to my concern and the noise level both from the cafe and the street. Maybe a top floor room would have been quieter. The first time in hundreds of hotels I have booked with Expedia I would not recommend or ever visit again

Sauberes modernes Appartement an top Lage zum Hauptbahnhof. Selfcheckin hat problemlos funktioniert. Einziger Kritikpunkt, die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen und es war sehr heiss, mit dem Ventilator vor dem Bett aber auszuhalten.

Good bargain in an expensive Zurich. The room was adequate and the bed slept well. The air conditioning was not cold as I like but a small fan in the room helped. Overall was adequate for my needs. Restaurants nearby and some shopping. About a 20 minute walk from the Zurich Hb Train Station.

Pieza amplia y con cocina, refrigerador y lavavajillas. Cómoda para cocinar. Lo malo es que nos costó encontrar como cerrar y abrir las cortinas, además que la ducha estaba mala y se caía la cabeza y el tubo. Ubicación un poco lejos de la estación. Aceptable, pero en un barrio Indio bastante ruidoso.

Soweit ganz ok gewesen. Was mich allerdings sehr gestört hat, war der Laden unten am Eingang. Das Essen, was dort gekocht wurde, war sehr Geruchintensive. Die Hotelzimmer rochen danach.Dies begleitet mich heute noch. Ansonsten fand ich alles ok

The property was so convenient for my trip as was an easy walk from the train station. Comfortable and convenient. Downside : street very noisy and bed linen not very warm. No standard European power outlets and had to buy an adapter

Do not stay here when hot: no ac, no fan, and shutters are broken and block any wind. Elevator (lift) not working, so five flights with luggage. Customer Care was non-existent. Shame because could be much better

0/5 — DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give Swiss Star Langstrasse ZERO stars, I absolutely would. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had, and I strongly recommend that travelers DO NOT consider staying here. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. The key retrieval system/board was not working, and the person responsible for assisting us arrived late. There is no proper reception or readily available staff to approach when you have questions or need help. The elevator was NOT WORKING, and we were not informed beforehand that our room was on the 3rd floor. We had to drag all of our luggage up several flights of stairs ourselves. Even worse, there was NO AIR CONDITIONING, and we were not informed about this before our stay. During the hot summer weather in Switzerland, the room became unbearably hot and extremely uncomfortable. There was not even an electric fan provided. Sleeping was also extremely difficult. There was a lot of loud noise coming from people around the restaurants downstairs, and on top of everything else, there was CONSTRUCTION going on, adding even more noise and inconvenience. The combination of the heat, noise, broken elevator, lack of communication, poor assistance, and ongoing construction made our stay miserable. We are writing this review to warn other travelers and hopefully prevent others from having the same nightmare experience we had. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS HOTEL. We deeply regret staying at Swiss Star Langstrasse.
