Infelizmente, minha experiência neste hotel foi péssima do início ao fim. Tivemos problemas TODOS os dias com a falta de água quente, algo inadmissível para qualquer hotel, independentemente da categoria. Não foi um problema pontual: foi recorrente, diário e nunca resolvido de forma definitiva. Além disso, os quartos acima do 3º andar ficam em uma parte horrível do hotel, completamente diferente do que é mostrado ou esperado. A estrutura é ruim, desconfortável e passa a sensação de abandono. Parece outro prédio, sem qualquer cuidado com o hóspede. O mais frustrante é que a equipe foi informada diversas vezes sobre os problemas, mas não houve solução, apenas desculpas e promessas vazias. Nenhuma providência real foi tomada durante toda a estadia. Pagar para passar estresse, tomar banho frio e ainda ser ignorado pela administração é inaceitável. Não recomendo este hotel de forma alguma e certamente não voltaria. Uma experiência decepcionante e desrespeitosa com o hóspede. Good hotel for its price. I loved the kitsch baroque style, all the staff was very nice and helpful, and I appreciated how everything worked, which is not common for italian hotels. Hot water, elevator, etc were very comfortable. The area is very quiet and nice, with restaurants, supermarkets and bus in 2 minutes, also around 15-20 min far from Termini, so very convenient. It's like 15 min to Galleria Borghese and has a huge mall 5 min away too. Only negative points, my room was very dark with no natural light at all, which was good noise-wise but a bit depressing. The cleaning staff did forget toilet paper, towels etc on a daily basis. I would improve that, plus pass a hand on paint on the walls.

The staff was amazing and it was a great location. The room was large enough but we were on the fifth floor so we had to take the regular elevator to the third floor, get out, walk through a couple doors, down a hall and get on the exterior elevator to the fifth floor. That was annoying but we managed. All of the people working there were very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Rome!

The staff was amazing and it was a great location. The hotel presents a very elegant picture. It was quite nice to sit in the lobby, not an activity that I otherwise pursue. It is located in a safe residential area. No tourist destinations nearby but plenty of dining opportunities, including right on the same block. The room does not have a fridge. Therr was one element of cleanliness that needs to be addressed. Amid all the marble, including the bathroom sink, the staff have mistakenly interpreted the rims of the sink platform to also be patterned marble. It is not. The patterning is accumulated grime which I was able to demonstrate by scrubbing part of it clean and exposing the white surface that has become grimy. Ten minutes of effort with a “cleaning eraser” would render it clean. This was the only negative in an otherwise comfortable stay.

The location of the hotel was good, close to notable areas such as Trevi Fountain, Colloseum, The Forum, Vatican City and others. The hotel's water boiler failed for 3 out of the 4 days we were there. The hotel staff was not forthcoming about the issues, because twice we were told that it was fixed only to recant their statement once I call them to complain. We asked for the manager several times and they wouldn't even give the name and just kept telling us "come by at 7 am to speak with the manager". We left early every morning to visit the city and the tours we scheduled so there was never a good time to speak with the manager. Besides, we are the ones inconvenienced so it should have been the staff making an effort to reach us and not the other way around. I definitely would not stay here again.

Whilst the building itself and the entrance seems very nice, the rooms are musty, old and less than impressive. The bed has a big dip in it. It felt like the mattress was 20 years old and had a lot of heavy people sleeping on it. The walls were dirty, it smelt musty in there I had to open the window every day to try and air it out. The key in the door almost didn’t even work! It took a lot of effort to turn the key on the right angle to open the door. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Location was good as the bus stops basically right outside and you can take the bus to the train station or straight across the city.

Bonjour , Ayant fait une réservation via hôtel.com à l’hôtel des époques à Rome , numéro de voyage : 72557781474635 Nous avons fait le Check in puis nous sommes rentré dans notre chambre le soir et nous avons eu la surprise que l’électricité ce soit coupée , je suis aller voir la réceptionniste et après 1 h de recherche il leurs ai impossible de nous remettre l’électricité, le comble est que l’hôtel était plein donc dans l’impossibilité de changer de chambre . De ce fait nous avons dû profiter d’une chambre sans électricité avec tout ce que cela implique (pas de téléphone , lumière etc…) Cela n’est donc pas conforme au prestation d’un hôtel . Payer approximativement 200 e une nuit d’hôtel pour ce retrouver en « camping » n’est pas tolérable. J’aimerais connaître les recours possible pour permettre un remboursement du fait du désagrément et de la non conformité des prestations d’un hôtel . Bien à vous Merci d’avance

I don’t know how to explain how bad was almost everything. The room was dirty, you could see nails from previous guests all around the console. The safe box was not working. The fridge in the room was super dirty. Towels were not clean. Bathroom was very old and not that clean. The AC was not cooling the room at all. And the worst experience was at the check-in time when the lady at reception was so so so rude. We were supposed to check in at 2:30 based on what the Expedia showing us, the receptionist gave us the room key and said go to room and check if it is clean. Yes, she told us to check if the room is cleaned yet or not!!! We went to the room and guess what, the room was not cleaned yet. We came down to the reception and told her that the room is not clean, she said ok wait here for 1 hour to send someone to clean the room. I asked her if there is any other room available, the answer was no. We waited for one hour, then asked her again if the room is available and she said “no”, and told us to wait. I told her that the hotel should have other rooms available and she said there are other rooms available, “but I don’t want to give you any other room”. Finally, another receptionist, a nice lady, arrived and told her to give us another room. She refused to do that, so the nicer lady resolved the issue herself and gave us another room.

Flott hotell med unik design og godt gjennomgående stil. Det eneste vi ikke satte pris på var at aircondition var litt vanskelig å finne ut av, og det var litt varmt pluss at det var litt skittent på badet.

Ein echtes Juwel im Herzen Roms – absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, einige Tage im Hotel des Époques in Rom zu verbringen – und es war in jeder Hinsicht ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Schon beim Betreten des Hauses fühlt man sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt: Die stilvolle Einrichtung, geprägt von klassischer Eleganz und viel Liebe zum Detail, schafft eine warme, einladende Atmosphäre. Das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich, professionell und aufmerksam – wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir den exzellenten Concierge-Service, der uns bei Reservierungen und Empfehlungen äußerst kompetent unterstützt hat. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und tadellos sauber. Die Betten waren ausgesprochen bequem, und obwohl das Hotel zentral gelegen ist, konnten wir in völliger Ruhe entspannen – perfekt nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Stadt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Wir konnten unser Gepäck sowohl direkt am Morgen nach der Ankunft als auch am Abend vor unserem Rückflug problemlos und sicher im Hotel aufbewahren lassen. Whilst the building itself and the entrance seems very nice, the rooms are musty, old and less than impressive. The bed has a big dip in it. It felt like the mattress was 20 years old and had a lot of heavy people sleeping on it. The walls were dirty, it smelt musty in there I had to open the window every day to try and air it out. The key in the door almost didn’t even work! It took a lot of effort to turn the key on the right angle to open the door. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Location was good as the bus stops basically right outside and you can take the bus to the train station or straight across the city.

Good hotel for its price. I loved the kitsch baroque style, all the staff was very nice and helpful, and I appreciated how everything worked, which is not common for italian hotels. Hot water, elevator, etc were very comfortable. The area is very quiet and nice, with restaurants, supermarkets and bus in 2 minutes, also around 15-20 min far from Termini, so very convenient. It's like 15 min to Galleria Borghese and has a huge mall 5 min away too. Only negative points, my room was very dark with no natural light at all, which was good noise-wise but a bit depressing. The cleaning staff did forget toilet paper, towels etc on a daily basis. I would improve that, plus pass a hand on paint on the walls.

The staff was amazing and it was a great location. The room was large enough but we were on the fifth floor so we had to take the regular elevator to the third floor, get out, walk through a couple doors, down a hall and get on the exterior elevator to the fifth floor. That was annoying but we managed. All of the people working there were very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Rome!

The hotel presents a very elegant picture. It was quite nice to sit in the lobby, not an activity that I otherwise pursue. It is located in a safe residential area. No tourist destinations nearby but plenty of dining opportunities, including right on the same block. The room does not have a fridge. Therr was one element of cleanliness that needs to be addressed. Amid all the marble, including the bathroom sink, the staff have mistakenly interpreted the rims of the sink platform to also be patterned marble. It is not. The patterning is accumulated grime which I was able to demonstrate by scrubbing part of it clean and exposing the white surface that has become grimy. Ten minutes of effort with a “cleaning eraser” would render it clean. This was the only negative in an otherwise comfortable stay.

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful, little family driven hotel. The lobby gives you an exhilarating feeling of classic luxury with its marble, chandeliers, pillars, mirrors and gold-framed oil paintings. It turned out that the hotel is ideally situated: just outside the entrance door is the bus stop Porta Pia. Bus 90 takes you from here to Termini, the railway station, where you have trains to the airport. From Porta Pia you can also take bus 60 or 62 which takes you close to the important spots in 10-15 minutes. Our room also had this touch of classic luxury with vintage quality furniture, walls covered by tapestry, floor in real wood and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with both hot dishes, cereals and a rich choice of pastry and cakes.

The Hotel Des Epoques was all we asked for and more. When we checked in, and went up to our room the we had initially paid for, the check-in clerk quickly met us in our room and offered an alternate arrangement since we had a party of three, my wife, daughter, and me. We viewed the other room and it had two separate bedrooms with queen sized beds, and a shared bathroom. It was perfect. The decor was extravagant, with chandeliers in each room. The breakfast each day offer good low carb options, in addition to a variety of pastries. The cappuccino machine was exquisite. We were very close to some very restaurants. We will return to this location the next trip to Rome.

I don’t know how to explain how bad was almost everything. The room was dirty, you could see nails from previous guests all around the console. The safe box was not working. The fridge in the room was super dirty. Towels were not clean. Bathroom was very old and not that clean. The AC was not cooling the room at all. And the worst experience was at the check-in time when the lady at reception was so so so rude. We were supposed to check in at 2:30 based on what the Expedia showing us, the receptionist gave us the room key and said go to room and check if it is clean. Yes, she told us to check if the room is cleaned yet or not!!! We went to the room and guess what, the room was not cleaned yet. We came down to the reception and told her that the room is not clean, she said ok wait here for 1 hour to send someone to clean the room. I asked her if there is any other room available, the answer was no. We waited for one hour, then asked her again if the room is available and she said “no”, and told us to wait. I told her that the hotel should have other rooms available and she said there are other rooms available, “but I don’t want to give you any other room”. Finally, another receptionist, a nice lady, arrived and told her to give us another room. She refused to do that, so the nicer lady resolved the issue herself and gave us another room.

The location of the hotel was good, close to notable areas such as Trevi Fountain, Colloseum, The Forum, Vatican City and others. The hotel's water boiler failed for 3 out of the 4 days we were there. The hotel staff was not forthcoming about the issues, because twice we were told that it was fixed only to recant their statement once I call them to complain. We asked for the manager several times and they wouldn't even give the name and just kept telling us "come by at 7 am to speak with the manager". We left early every morning to visit the city and the tours we scheduled so there was never a good time to speak with the manager. Besides, we are the ones inconvenienced so it should have been the staff making an effort to reach us and not the other way around. I definitely would not stay here again.

Personal para mear y no echar gota. Instalaciones viejas. Ducha rota. El desayuno escaso y poco deseable sin opciones de sin gluten o veganos. La chica del desayuno es la única que se salva de la panda de ***que hay empezando por el recepcionista Franco que te falta el respeto y encima luego no te pide perdón y acabando por su compañera Alaina que se rio de mi en mi cara y cuando le dije que no me hacia gracia no fue capaz de solucionar nada. El peor hotel de mi vida y eso que he recorrido 27 paises. Además era la primera vez que reservaba con expedia y sera la ultima ya que aunque expedia me lo solucionaron en atencion al cliente la recepción del hotel eran unos ***. Si quereis disfrutar en roma cosa que yo no puede hacer por esta gente que me estuvo dos dias atosigando que no tenia reserva ni habitacion cuando se acabo demostrando que si y pagada encima dandome una habitacion de caca.

Excelente localização: próximo a pontos de ônibus, farmácia, restaurantes, supermercados. O estacionamento é na rua. Demos sorte de conseguir uma vaga bem enfrente à portaria do Hotel. Aconselho não ir de carro.

Good hotel for its price. I loved the kitsch baroque style, all the staff was very nice and helpful, and I appreciated how everything worked, which is not common for italian hotels. Hot water, elevator, etc were very comfortable. The area is very quiet and nice, with restaurants, supermarkets and bus in 2 minutes, also around 15-20 min far from Termini, so very convenient. It's like 15 min to Galleria Borghese and has a huge mall 5 min away too. Only negative points, my room was very dark with no natural light at all, which was good noise-wise but a bit depressing. The cleaning staff did forget toilet paper, towels etc on a daily basis. I would improve that, plus pass a hand on paint on the walls.

Great little hotel, close to centre with bus just outside on central bus routes. Btekfast was nice quality products ( we did need to ask for refil of some food a few times though) Rooms were good and spacious though the hotel itself is quite dated was probably fantastic when it was new. Overall i would stay again definitely.

The hotel presents a very elegant picture. It was quite nice to sit in the lobby, not an activity that I otherwise pursue. It is located in a safe residential area. No tourist destinations nearby but plenty of dining opportunities, including right on the same block. The room does not have a fridge. Therr was one element of cleanliness that needs to be addressed. Amid all the marble, including the bathroom sink, the staff have mistakenly interpreted the rims of the sink platform to also be patterned marble. It is not. The patterning is accumulated grime which I was able to demonstrate by scrubbing part of it clean and exposing the white surface that has become grimy. Ten minutes of effort with a “cleaning eraser” would render it clean. This was the only negative in an otherwise comfortable stay.

The lobby gives you an exhilarating feeling of classic luxury with its marble, chandeliers, pillars, mirrors and gold-framed oil paintings. It turned out that the hotel is ideally situated: just outside the entrance door is the bus stop Porta Pia. Bus 90 takes you from here to Termini, the railway station, where you have trains to the airport. From Porta Pia you can also take bus 60 or 62 which takes you close to the important spots in 10-15 minutes. Our room also had this touch of classic luxury with vintage quality furniture, walls covered by tapestry, floor in real wood and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with both hot dishes, cereals and a rich choice of pastry and cakes.

Whilst the building itself and the entrance seems very nice, the rooms are musty, old and less than impressive. The bed has a big dip in it. It felt like the mattress was 20 years old and had a lot of heavy people sleeping on it. The walls were dirty, it smelt musty in there I had to open the window every day to try and air it out. The key in the door almost didn’t even work! It took a lot of effort to turn the key on the right angle to open the door. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Location was good as the bus stops basically right outside and you can take the bus to the train station or straight across the city.

Well I give average as building old. Toilet not working properly. No exception was made about breakfast as they were ready at 7am but did not allow to get anything until 7:30 I paid extra for this and only able to eat on last day. Food is fair. Check in listed at 2:30pm but was not given a room until 3pm.

Personal para mear y no echar gota. Instalaciones viejas. Ducha rota. El desayuno escaso y poco deseable sin opciones de sin gluten o veganos. La chica del desayuno es la única que se salva de la panda de ***que hay empezando por el recepcionista Franco que te falta el respeto y encima luego no te pide perdón y acabando por su compañera Alaina que se rio de mi en mi cara y cuando le dije que no me hacia gracia no fue capaz de solucionar nada. El peor hotel de mi vida y eso que he recorrido 27 paises. Además era la primera vez que reservaba con expedia y sera la ultima ya que aunque expedia me lo solucionaron en atencion al cliente la recepción del hotel eran unos ***. Si quereis disfrutar en roma cosa que yo no puede hacer por esta gente que me estuvo dos dias atosigando que no tenia reserva ni habitacion cuando se acabo demostrando que si y pagada encima dandome una habitacion de caca.

The hotel is nice clean. We faced issue with one of the staff since we couldn't take the breakfast for several days due to our plan, one day we passed by 10 mn before the breakfast time to grab a coffee and one od the staff members made a huge problem for a cup of coffee!

Små rum men rent och fräscht. Trevlig personal. Frukosten är sådär men ingår så det går inte riktigt att klaga på. Kaffet var gott. Nära till bra restauranger, bussar till alla sevärdheter och en välsorterad Supermarket på andra sidan gatan. Rekommenderas som prisvärt boende när man är i Rom för att gå på museum och utforska stan.

When booking this hotel, the booking clearly stated “1 double bed or 2 twin beds.” Upon arrival, they told me there were no twin‑bed rooms available, This problem never happened in other hotels I have booked in this trip. They promise to change another room for me the next day, so I took room 106 they had for me. That room has no bidet, all other rooms have. That room's shower head was broken and would not stay on the clip stand and would fall off once the water is running. I was upset and asked them to change another room. They gave me 116. That room has a bidet, but the ventilation fan not working. There are molds on the ceiling above the shower. the shower head is full of white scales. They have an old and a newer showerhead. Even the newer one is ugly. They didn't even bother replacing the old with the new but kept both. Phone not working. Next day, they move me to a room with twin beds, but the phone wire was not even connected. Toilet flushed continuously and would not stop. bed sheet has red marks on it. Furniture inside the room were very dusty. Their breakfast was very basic, not as good as my other 1 star hotel. Some pastries were not fresh. I know pictures of the common areas are spectacular and they are true. but inside the rooms is a different story. Most of the amentities are old and not functional. So the looks from the pictures are deceiving. Room condition was worse than a 1 star hotel. The experience was terrible and I will never book this hotel again.

Für eine Nacht ok. War das erste Mal, dass man mir ein Zimmer ohne Fenster geben wollte. Frühstück is basic und man sollte nicht zu viel erwarten, aber die öffentlichen Räumlichkeiten haben glaube ich eine schöne Zeit hinter sich….
