Ponte Vecchio Flat

The entire property was perfect, except for one awning on the terrace not responding to the remote.

This place is just ok. It could be amazing with a little TLC though. The curtains could use a cleaning, the walls a fresh coat of paint and the whole place could use some odds and ends to enhance the overall experience. Maybe add some towel rods in the bathroom, and a shower rod and curtain for the tub. But the building is relatively quiet, and the elevator is helpful for getting luggage up and down. Again, the place is serviceable - just not great.

The front gate key is a headache. Light in room is also a problem

This is a great property for 4-6 people. Check in was somewhat difficult. It was very cold for Florence and heat had been turned off early April but finally they turned it back on the second night. Hot water for the showers were spotty. Worst was the elevator stopped working and it was 5 flights of stairs with luggage to leave.

Great location, bedrooms at back of apartment so very quiet for sleeping and rooms nice and big and bright. However, communication with host very poor prior to arrival which caused us a lot of stress. In addition the washing machine and dishwasher tripped the electricity and we never heard from the host to sort it out which was difficult when traveling with young children. Apartment was tired, shower door broken, no plug for bath and balcony very dangerous as the safety rail was not good and had big gaps in it.
