The property is beautiful, especially the pool areas. Good room service food options and lots of bars. The gym is okay but could use some more free weights. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The rooms aren’t exactly soundproof so if you’re a light sleeper it can be a little noisy. The one negative I would say is that the service on the rooftop was pretty slow overall. The staff was all very friendly and pleasant and some of them worked quickly but at times it took forever to get a drink and you always had to go up to the bar for service. There is usually plenty of staff in the area and it would add a lot to the hotel if they walked around taking orders. But overall, excellent stay and great value for what you pay.

The Hotel Royal Hoi An is full of class. Beautiful hotel with 2 great pools and beautifully furnished rooms that are spacious, very comfortable and a great big bathroom with plenty of clothes space. Upstairs pool and bar are great for an afternoon swim and drink. Breakfast is very good with a great selection of fruits, bread, pastries and hot food..All of the staff are excellent with Truc at reception with our checkin being a stand out. Explained all parts of the hotel in detail. Free bikes to use is a great part and the hotel is in a great location..5 mins ride to the very busy Old Town, yet quiet at the hotel with a lot of good restaurants and massage outside the hotel..the only upgrade the hotel needs is new bikes and treadmills in the gym as they look like 1980s models..LOL

Excellent staff, beautiful room (executive lounge a worthwhile addition for snacks, afternoon tea and evening canapés), well located a short walk away from the hustle and bustle. Nice pool area and reliable breakfast.

This really cool boutique hotels in a great location. The rooftop bar and pool are awesome. The hotel has a lot of character and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast was as good as any as any of the 20 hotels I have stayed at in the last 3 months.

こちらに2泊しました。 立地：観光の中心地まで歩いて5～10分以内、疲れたら荷物を置きに帰ることができる絶妙な位置です。 中心地の賑やかな場所からは少し離れているので、静かです。 設備：プールが2つあり、快適でした。①地上のプールは午前中は日陰ですが寒くはなく普通に泳げます。②屋上プールは8階で、こちらは朝から常に日当たりがいいです。こちらのプールの横にはルーフトップバー有り。 周辺では一番高い建物なので、川のランタンの明かりも見えました。 部屋：キングベッドの部屋に宿泊。バスタブが部屋の中心にあり、居室とはカーテンで仕切るスタイルでした。友人やカップルで泊まるには、居室とバス/トイレの仕切りが甘いのでちょっと恥ずかしいのかな、と思いましたが、このスタイル以外のお部屋もあるのかな？ 一人なら全く問題なし。 シャワーの水圧もバッチリです。 スタッフの方：皆さんとても親切で、ドアマンの方は走ってドアを開けに来てくれます。チェックイン時は部屋の前まで荷物を運び、案内してくれました。 朝食：朝食有りのプランにしましたが、メニューも豊富で、ベトナム名物料理も置いてありました。 ハウスキーピング：お昼頃に回ってくるようですが、ボタン式で依頼するタイプ。ボタンを押さなくてもハウスキーパーが来て掃除してくれるようですが、午前の外出時に既に清掃が終わっていたので、完了したのだと思っていたところ、午後のお出掛け時にも入って整頓してくれたようでした。 一回目の時は全て荷物を片付けてスーツケースに鍵もしていましたが、2回目の外出時は荷物を広げだ状態だったので、何回か来てくれるものだと事前に知っておけば良かったです。 もちろんスタッフの方には問題ないですが、今まであまり経験がなかったので気持ちの問題ですが散らかった部屋をお見せするのも忍びなかったです。 部屋にお水が2本置いてあり、無料でもらえますが、ガラス瓶タイプなので、外出時に持ち出すのは厳しいです。 総合的にかなり良かったと思います。 素敵なホテルです。 内装も好みで本当に寛げました。 またホイアンに来ることがあったら利用したいです。

Five star for sure ! The staff are always making sure that you are comfortable and that you do not need anything , Are used the spa for steam room and sauna it was wonderful and the staff were great . Wonderful, wonderful breakfast buffet great staff there. Also, I was lucky enough to meet the kind and loving manager. She is wonderful. ! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone

Luxuriöses Hotel mit 2 Pools, Rooftop Bar. Hervorragendes Frühstück mit frisch zubereiteten Kaffees. Sehr schöne große Zimmer, bequeme Betten und tolles Badezimmer. Top Service, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Lage sehr gut, ruhig am Fluß, wenige Minuten Fußweg zur Altstadt.

We have stayed at the hotel previously in its Accor Mgallery guise and it has not diminished from that standard. Our room overlooked the canal through Hoi An, with a balcony, spotlessly clean, very roomy in size with great bed and bathiroom facilities. Breakfast area is enormous with a myriad of options. Staff are courteous and friendly, check in and out was seamless. The rooftop bar and pool offers views over Hoi An. Outside of happy hour it is not the cheapest place to have a drink. The hotel is very close to the Hoi An old town, associated eateries on the far bank and very walkable. There are pop up eateries along the canal at night offering cheap grills, seafood and noodles. A top hotel in a top location. Not the cheapest option in town but you get what you pay for. We were two couples in their 60's and 70's and stayed for three nights. Well recommended.

To start with the hotel is far from being a 5 stars hotel. Location was definitely good, being close enough to the action without the disturbance. Service though is poor and confusing. I can see they really try hard but still, example, although requested in advance there was no extra bed in our room (I must say why they charge for that since we are paying for 3 pax but anyway). Upon our complaint they apologize and said that as gesture of goodwill they would not charge for the first night (the night we did not had the bed!!!). Be mindful of the mold as well if you are allergic! They do have a beach club, which is great, but again, service sucks! They cannot manage to get the transfer back to the hotel, worse than that, they simply cannot be straight in communicating, I recognize the idiom may be a barrier but then don’t consider yourself a 5 stars hotel!

We had a nice room with a river and pool view. It was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom amenities were not the greatest but they were ok and they were clean. The staff was very helpful during the check in. Breakfast buffet was good. Restaurant staff’s clothes and furniture often had stains from food - not a sanitary look one would hope to see in an “luxurious” hotel. The service in the restaurant during breakfast was ok although not the greatest. Everyone seemed to be rushed. My husband swam in the pool and got sick afterwards so this is really not good. Quite a few things/amenities in the hotel look run down. Again, mostly ok but cannot be called luxurious. An ok stay but not as great as we hoped it to be.

It was amazing!! We loved the stay and the hotel is impeccable. The room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the river. The perfect touch to a busy day was the chocolate with the turn down service. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return hopefully one day.

The bathroom is a problem. There are no walls or doors, just a curtain to close it off from the rest of the room. This means that there's no soundproofing. When you brush your teeth, shower, or use the toilet, the person you are sharing the room with will hear everything. Also, the way that it is built, water can, and did for us (3 times), leak from the shower area to the toilet area. This is a not-insignificant blemish on an other otherwise great hotel.

The property was in a great location on the river, and has easy walking access to all the best spots in Hoi An. The rooms were a bit dark but the hotel staff were happy to assist by providing extra lamps for the room. Breakfast was ok, not fabulous, and the service at the Japanese restaurant in house was terrible. The hotel staff were generally very helpful. The rooftop bar is cool too!

To start with the hotel is far from being a 5 stars hotel. Location was definitely good, being close enough to the action without the disturbance. Service though is poor and confusing. I can see they really try hard but still, example, although requested in advance there was no extra bed in our room (I must say why they charge for that since we are paying for 3 pax but anyway). Upon our complaint they apologize and said that as gesture of goodwill they would not charge for the first night (the night we did not had the bed!!!). Be mindful of the mold as well if you are allergic! They do have a beach club, which is great, but again, service sucks! They cannot manage to get the transfer back to the hotel, worse than that, they simply cannot be straight in communicating, I recognize the idiom may be a barrier but then don’t consider yourself a 5 stars hotel!

The property is beautiful, especially the pool areas. Good room service food options and lots of bars. The gym is okay but could use some more free weights. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The rooms aren’t exactly soundproof so if you’re a light sleeper it can be a little noisy. The one negative I would say is that the service on the rooftop was pretty slow overall. The staff was all very friendly and pleasant and some of them worked quickly but at times it took forever to get a drink and you always had to go up to the bar for service. There is usually plenty of staff in the area and it would add a lot to the hotel if they walked around taking orders. But overall, excellent stay and great value for what you pay.

Check in was very good, lots of information, they gave us the Expedia room upgrade and it was an incredible room. The breakfast was very good, we didn’t use the restaurants but they looked very nice. The 2 swimming pools were very nice, although we tended to stay around the ground floor pool because it was bigger and had plenty of shade. It was just on the edge of old town so a convenient walk and not any of the noise. The hotel staff were very friendly, we would highly recommend this hotel

Property is luxurious and and in a great location. Exceptionally clean. Front door bellman was very helpful and friendly. He could work in any hotel in the world. Most of the other staff could not speak English and that made communication interesting. Most is the people in the area don’t speak English either so you have to be patient and use your hands a lot. However, the country was beautiful and the food is insane. The people are warm and welcoming. There is a sense of family and community you will never experience anywhere else.

We are travelling around Vietnam and have stayed in many hotels. THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET! 10/10. Beautiful rooms: free drinks (Coke Zero) in mini bar and the 2 pools were so luxurious! Staff wonderful in the check in area and the doormen so polite. A good location: near river & on the edge of tourist area/only 10 min walk in a straight line to the busy touristy stuff. The cleaning staff were a bit noisy at 8 am in the hallway today (we had wanted a lie in!). Got free chocs last night, however, as they did their turn down service! Breakfast was every food u could want! Staff there great/so hard working! My only disappointment was we had no balcony and it would have been useful to dry our swimming costumes on one after a swim just before we left. But that was Hotels.com at fault, as I showed the receptionist my phone app saying we should have a balcony and she said none of the rooms for 2 had balconies so it was not the hotel who had made that wrong statement.

Amazing service all around! The staff was excellent and always polite and accommodating. They even surprised my husband with a birthday cake on his birthday, which was such a sweet and unexpected gesture. The rooms were very clean and bed and pillows were super comfy. The morning breakfast was delicious with so many options, including local cuisine favorites. Location was great too, very close to night market and close to lantern boats on the river. Such an amazing city and hotel. We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Beautiful property, the staff was friendly and helpful. One night we decided to stay in and get room service since we were tired and got club sandwiches. They were the best club sandwiches we’ve ever had! Excellent location, close to town where you can walk around and get amazing street food. Beautiful property, the staff was friendly and helpful. One night we decided to stay in and get room service since we were tired and got club sandwiches. They were the best club sandwiches we’ve ever had! Excellent location, close to town where you can walk around and get amazing street food. Great location within walking distance of the old town, markets, bars etc. Breakfast was excellent - especially enjoyed sitting out on the terrace at breakfast. All staff are lovely. Pool isn't enormous but great view and the pizzas are good. Recommend!

Excellent staff, beautiful room (executive lounge a worthwhile addition for snacks, afternoon tea and evening canapés), well located a short walk away from the hustle and bustle. Nice pool area and reliable breakfast.

Food was superb as were the staff service. I eat dinner at the hotel most days as the food was so tasty. Staff were always on hand to help. This is in my top 3 hotels worldwide and ive stayed at hundreds.

The property was in a great location on the river, and has easy walking access to all the best spots in Hoi An. The rooms were a bit dark but the hotel staff were happy to assist by providing extra lamps for the room. Breakfast was ok, not fabulous, and the service at the Japanese restaurant in house was terrible. The hotel staff were generally very helpful. The rooftop bar is cool too!

Beautiful hotel and well located - very close to Old Town but just on the outskirts so you can get some peace & quiet. Rooms are stunning, great shower pressure and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel buffet breakfast caters well for vegans.

The room we had was riverside, excellent views. Beautiful and clean. Lots of space. All the staff in the hotel were amazingly friendly and helpful. Bikes into town were available all the time. Shuttle to the sister resort at beach was great. Breakfast was abundant. Lots of options. It did get a little noisy at times from the bikes and cars beeping their horns at the junction that the hotel is on but not overbearing. The pools at the hotel were great. Beautiful views from the roof top deck bar and pool area. So close to the town centre of old town. Walked in every day. We would definitely stay again
