My daughter and I travelled to El Campello for a badminton tournament taking place in the area. The Blue Med was ideally located for us and was the primary reason we chose it. For those who are visiting the area primarily for the beach, it was only a 9-minute walk from the accommodation to the beach through lovely residential streets. Our host, Gloria, was wonderful. She messaged in advance of our arrival to ensure she could be there to greet us on the day and spoke excellent English, which was a bonus! The room we stayed in was clean and functional with two beds, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV. The room had an en suite bathroom with shower. Importantly, the room also had air conditioning which we used when needed as it was 28 degrees while we were there. In the basement level of the accommodation there is a communal area with facilities for making tea/coffee and storing your food in fridge-freezer for guests, which we made use of during our stay. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. On the final day, given our late flight, Gloria kindly allowed us to use the room beyond our check-out time as it was not being used at that point. We really appreciated this and it was a nice gesture. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone visiting El Campello and if we return for the same tournament next year, we'll make sure to book again with Gloria.
