Excellent service. Small hard-working staff went up and beyond for guests especially during a busy time with the Bay City Parade. Accommodated us in every way including a very late check out so a baby could nap. Rooms were great and kids enjoyed the pool. We will be back for another stay.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Had 2 breakfasts and dinner w drinks (for 3) and the food was delicious and staff at Bistro were the best. Only downfall was we came here specifically for the area and swimming and it was hands down the coldest pool we have ever been in. Too cold to even be close to enjoyable.

The staff was super friendly! Clean rooms, comfy bed, nice pool, beautiful views, within a walk away to the water and various restaurants. Even after checkout they let me keep my vehicle parked in the lot so I could walk the pier and visit shops all day.

The rooms were spacious and beds/pillows were very comfy. It had a large bathroom with good supplies. The shower floor was a bit slippery and had to be carefully navigated. Now the negative-almost every time we needed help, staff members told us that it was their first day/week and didn’t know the computer, procedure, recipe, etc. It got to be a running joke it happened so often! Thank goodness for the manager who had to wear many hats! The ladies’ restroom on the first floor needed some serious attention and the smell of weed around the property and on the 2nd floor was overwhelming at times. It’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful location and I might give them another chance, but I’ll ask questions first!

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and always gave it a high rating. This time, however, we found some items that disappointed us, including a dirty shower curtain and liner. It appeared the bottom of the liner had been cut and it barely fit in the shower. Also, the handle to the closet was falling off. We may consider staying elsewhere next time.

The location of this hotel near the river and restaurants was perfect. We booked this hotel last minute as the hotel we were supposed to stay in was unacceptable. It is modern, clean, the beds were comfortable and even though were our room was very close to the lobby it was quiet. We appreciated the microwave and mini fridge. We did not use the pool as we did not plan on swimming (due to change of hotel) so I cannot comment on that - but it looked nice and we hope to use it when we stay here again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room was nice and fairly clean, but a restaurant across the street has live ourdoor music from 6pm - 9pm and makes the room unusable at the time to due noise. Wanted to relax before dinner and heard Frank Santra songs for the entire time. Wouldn't stay here again for this reason.

Liked having an end unit on the second floor. Did not like the heavy footed guests in the room above us, we were in 201. They stomped around until after midnight and then continued their heavy footed activities early morning. No human should ever have to stomp so much, no respect for other guests.

I paid for 2 rooms on Hotels.com. My in laws arrived before I did but I texted them screenshots of my reservation confirmation. When they checked in the hotel took their credit card for incidentals and also charged them for the 2 rooms which I had already paid for obviously on this site. If my mother in law hadn’t mentioned all of the points she was getting for this stay on her credit card we would have paid twice for these 2 rooms. We are here on the weekend and my father in law won’t have any resolution until Monday when a manager is in and we are no longer here.

I forgot to request hypoallergenic bedding, but when I checked in they quickly prepared a room for us. The staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet and clean. The room was spacious and the shower was nice. There are plenty of dining options in the area. This was our first visit here and will stay again next time we are in the area.

I've stayed in several Marriott courtyards in different parts of the world and they have always been great but this location had very poor customer service from every member of staff. The hotel seemed to be running on a skeleton crew and over the three nights I stayed there not once did housekeeping come into the room or replace anything. The breakfast menu prices were ridiculous especially the $13 dollar avocado on toast since I could cross the road and pay $13 for a lobster eggs benedict! The room and view was nice, the uptown grill across the road had great breakfast and the beds were comfortable but I would not stay here again. I would prefer going back to the double tree down the road and pay the $30 price difference.

Really wonderful. Nice staff, right on the edge of the Saginaw River. Walk under 100 ft to a steakhouse, seafood place, luncheon cafe, or pizza parlor.

The staff was super friendly! Clean rooms, comfy bed, nice pool, beautiful views, within a walk away to the water and various restaurants. Even after checkout they let me keep my vehicle parked in the lot so I could walk the pier and visit shops all day.

The property was nice. Looks new and modern as well as around the property. $10 extra for breakfast was a little disappointing. Walked around the corner and found a nice breakfast/lunch place. Literally a 10 yard walk to the Riverwalk. Pizza place, Ice cream, seafood place, and a gem I found Sushi Mix with bubble tea. Starbucks 1 block away. Room was big and clean. Really good for the price I got for 2 day during the week.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Had 2 breakfasts and dinner w drinks (for 3) and the food was delicious and staff at Bistro were the best. Only downfall was we came here specifically for the area and swimming and it was hands down the coldest pool we have ever been in. Too cold to even be close to enjoyable.

Location in the UpTown section of downtown Bay City is excellent. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The bathroom door didn’t latch. Rooms are very spacious. The grounds needed attention. The walkway when I checked in early afternoon was littered with QTips. Although obviously clean and dropped by someone they were everywhere. Recommend this property since it’s surrounded by restaurant choices and shopping.

When we checked into room we noticed it had an odor. Well the toilet rocked, caulk was all cracked, and during the night it got worse, it was sewer gasses coming from a broken seal on the toilet. We were tired from traveling so did not want to pack up and change rooms, so we endured it. But Bay City was an unexpected surprise - we walked 1/2 mile to old downtown, ate a delicious dinner at Gatsby's.

Our room was very clean; the elevator was not. It was in obvious need of a good vacuuming. The staff was very friendly, but not always readily available. I think they need more help. Parking was advertised as free but once there they had signs posted that there would be a charge of $5 per night. While that's nominal, I feel if I am paying to stay at your hotel, I should not have to pay to park my car there. Also, the hotel is advertised as being "riverfront" but technically it is not. That was disappointing.

Room did not have a microwave as advertised. Also, this location said they are starting to charge for parking.... but it's a shared parking lot with other businesses, so that didn't make any sense. I wasn't charged at the property, but it might have been included when I booked.
