This Super 8 is my go to in Chula Vista! Its location right off the highway is ideal. It is quite secure and clean… I did have one problem with the door handle as it did not open the normal way otherwise, a great economical hotel.

Stopped for one night. Basic hotel with no pool. Didn’t come down for breakfast but area looked small. Didn’t like the tile floors in room, prefer carpet but room was large but plain. Not bad for price though cuz just needed to sleep.

Upon check-in I was told that I had been scammed by booking and checking in through Expedia. The person at the front was loud and boisterous. The hotel is under remodel I believe there were boxes in the hallway. It stated the ice machine was on a different floor and it wasn’t when we called the front desk the receptionist told us that I could bring one cup to him and he’d get me the the ice. The breakfast is very watered down coffee, cereal bars, milk and cereal.

The property is clean and spacious, but you have to check in from the outside. We stayed for 2 days and didn't request for housekeeping instead, I requested for towels from the staff and through texting but never got them. Breakfast is included but there's barely any food.

The place was not well kept. There were paint stains on the bed, boogers on the wall, and missing appliances. They did clean because there wasn’t any trash, beds were made, and the bathroom was clean. It was good enough to stay the night, but if I had the chance for $30 bucks more, I wished I would’ve stayed at a better hotel. It had a weird smell that sort of went away with the AC. The bed was too firm. And the breakfast “item” is a granola bar from Costco. Had it been $60 for the night, it would’ve been understandable, but for double that, it was not worth it.

The piping of shower was something wrong with it, every time someone used the toilet or shower it sounded as though water is coming down the shower. It made loud noises. I was there only 6 hours to sleep so not time to complain to reception. I could not sleep properly the few hours I had. Not only that the handle on the toilet was not working properly. Not being able to get restful sleep for few hours is not acceptable

Not for sure why the front desk would not let me get the keys for my in-laws even though the room was in my name and on my credit card. Everything was already paid for. Just did not make sense. Also the music from the night club was a little loud at night.

Bring your blinders and earplugs. Woken up by our neighbors yelling obsenities at 330am and ppty is on a busy road with a busy 7-11 in parking lot. Next time I will stay in a safer location even further from my appointment. Floor in room is laminate and loud, not super clean either. I was fooled by the Wyndem brand but not their typical property.

Phone was not working for any service. Air conditioning gave out towrads the end of my stay. Room service did not give us towels. Room service walked in the room without giving the okay for entry. 1st time was when i was SHOWER WHICH IS RUDE AND INVASION OF PRIVACY and 2nd time was towards the end of the stay. Room door lock latch was broken as well. Overall, i didnt fully enjoy my stay. I felt my privacy was invaded.

The gentlemen who checked us in was rude and not so friendly . Me and my husband called due to issues with the cleanliness and also hair in the tub TV remote was not working he came up 2x yelled at me stating," You guys must have damaged it ". I stated it was not working from the beginning went to pick up my husband at airport he provided a new remote which eventually worked . As a female I have trauma with people yelling I suffer from Mental Health issues it put me in a hostile feeling . It\'s important people working in customer service know how to deal with consumers weather you know or not what past or element they deal with they still need not yell or be confrontational with customers or blaming just assist and make consumers experience pleasant we I drove from Oakland Ca . I would not stay at that paticular place .

Be careful about this place. They will rip you off. I did the online check-in all the way through. But when I got there to get my room, they told me they had cancelled my reservation. Yet, they charged my credit card and said it was Expedia's responsibility to refund my money. However, I never received any notification from either the motel nor Expedia of my room being cancelled. As a matter of fact, as you can see here, they want me to write a review? Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Place was nice and clean. Staff were friendly. However the room had a strong, lingering, smell of Fabuloso cleaner and the area was a little sketchy. Would definitely stay again for San Diego Comic Con cause it’s a really cheap area and clean compared to downtown San Diego.

Bring your blinders and earplugs. Woken up by our neighbors yelling obsenities at 330am and ppty is on a busy road with a busy 7-11 in parking lot. Next time I will stay in a safer location even further from my appointment. Floor in room is laminate and loud, not super clean either. I was fooled by the Wyndem brand but not their typical property.

The receptionist when we arrived was very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable and the price was good. The only downside was the mini fridge in the room did not work and the breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Upon check-in I was told that I had been scammed by booking and checking in through Expedia. The person at the front was loud and boisterous. The hotel is under remodel I believe there were boxes in the hallway. It stated the ice machine was on a different floor and it wasn’t when we called the front desk the receptionist told us that I could bring one cup to him and he’d get me the the ice. The breakfast is very watered down coffee, cereal bars, milk and cereal.

I stay here a couple of times a month only because is close to where i have my meetings on Monday morning, but overall not what I need. The place is ran down sheets are old place looks old and they say that they offer breakfast is a lie!!! Supposedly for over a months they have a visit from corporate so they don't bring things out only coffee. Like y say i i ly stay here because is close to where i need to be. Bad place to bring family

The property is clean and spacious, but you have to check in from the outside. We stayed for 2 days and didn't request for housekeeping instead, I requested for towels from the staff and through texting but never got them. Breakfast is included but there's barely any food.

It would be nice to train the attendant with some good customer service. The room was not very clean. One of the two beds was all bumpy and the bed spread stained. The shower head was broken. You hardly got a poor water stream coming out of it. Breakfast was not what we expected. It was basically what your would get from a vending machine

The property isn’t horrible for the price, I think that makes it the main reason to stay there. Inside my room there was a cockroach, the bedspread was stained, black mold above the shower. The water pressure was very weak which made showering kind of unpleasant but you get what you pay for. It’s an okay place if you just plan to go there for sleep. For positives, the A/C worked well, and I like how you need a keycard just to enter the building because the surrounding area is a bit run down.
