l'hébergement est bien globalement restauration suffisante et variée le personnel très accueillant disponible et professionnel cependant à la piscine c'est la catastrophe tour de la plage aussi peu de transat peu de parasol c'est vraiment la lutte des personnes se lève à 3h du matin pour réserver les places une catastrophe ça a vraiment beaucoup nuit à notre séjour

Rooms excellent, hotel areas spacious and clean. Seating arrangements for dining inside need some attention. Sun loungers and umbrellas need upgrading. Staff generally very good- particularly reception area.

Excellent Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Two staff in particular were exceptional. Suman in Room Service, who kept our room immaculate aways, and would clean the room around OUR timings and not when he wanted to clean it. The other person was Sawjanya, who not only looked after all our needs but also those of other people during breakfast time. She would have our tea and coffee ready and knew exactly what we wanted, after the first day. She was always so calm and pleasant to everyone in the restaurant and managed to see to everyone's needs. Brilliant experience at the hotel, from the Sauna, Gym, Spa area, restaurants, beach, swimming pools and Kids club. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Second Stay This Year – Warm Staff & Beautiful Sea View This was my second visit to Rixos Gulf within the year, and once again, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made it a truly welcoming experience. The rooms are lovely — bright, clean, and beautifully designed — and the sea view is always a treat to wake up to. A big shoutout to the team outside who are consistently helpful, always smiling, and quick to open doors and assist with Ubers — their attentiveness really stands out. A few things to note for improvement: • I was surprised to see that the pool near the beach, which was previously adults-only, now includes children. While I completely understand the importance of family spaces, it did make it harder to fully relax at times. Since there are two pools, it might be worth considering keeping one dedicated to adults for a more balanced experience. • Our room was cleaned daily during our stay, but on the day before checkout, we returned to find it hadn’t been done. We asked and it was sorted quickly, but it felt a little out of step with the otherwise consistent service. Not a huge issue, just a detail that stood out. Lastly, while the food was enjoyable — especially at breakfast — it would be a nice touch to have themed dinner nights for more variety across the week. Overall, still a great experience. The genuine kindness of the staff and the setting by the sea make it a memorable place to stay.

Overall, it was a very nice holiday, but there were a few things that really bothered us. There were clearly too few sun umbrellas – even the staff confirmed this. There were by far not enough for everyone, even though the resort wasn’t particularly full. The food was good, but almost the same every day. It also felt like they were cutting corners: one day they offered Nutella, but 30 minutes later it was suddenly no longer available – only after repeatedly asking did they finally bring it out. Ice cream was also often unavailable, even though it was 38 degrees Celsius. To us, it looked like they were deliberately trying to save costs.

Positives: the staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The activities staff were great, fun and engaging. Room was great and cleaned daily. More than enough sun loungers, hotel provides towels and the spa is really nice. Things to note: we have stayed in Rixos hotels before, this one does not feel that it is quite there yet. Restaurant food lacked variety from day to day. It was however good. The two restaurants that were part of the all inclusive (Rasa and Mr Tailor) were okay but nothing to write home about. Small portions, limited choices. There was no evening entertainment, no where to enjoy the evenings. There was one small bar in a makeshift van at the end of the resort near the kids club which didn’t remain open past midnight. If you wanted to take drinks to your room you couldn’t as security didn’t allow it. The other big thing for us, was the amount of children. We know this is not an adult only hotel however, from the marketing we assumed that we would have a high end, luxury, all inclusive experience. This did not happen throughout the day and evenings with the amount of running, screaming, shouting children. I’m not sure what the solutions are to resolve this but had we known that this hotel caters primarily for large families, we would have chosen a different hotel in Doha. To conclude, this is not a terrible hotel. But it did not meet the expectations we expect from the Rixos brand.

The team at Rixos gulf are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, Faroukh in guest relations was a joy to deal with making sure all our needs were met, breakfast was run very smoothly, kids club was brilliant and interactive again the staff made it even better, I’d also like to thank Anisha, Fatima who helped resolve small issues very swiftly, I would not hesitate recommending Rixos Gulf they really know how to look after guests, a perfect stay for the family in a true 5 star setting

Sauberkeit und Anlage überzeugen auf ganzer Linie. Wir haben kürzlich einige Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht und waren rundum sehr zufrieden, besonders in Bezug auf die Sauberkeit und die Anlage. Die Zimmer waren makellos – vom Badezimmer bis zu den kleinsten Details. Es war deutlich, dass hier großer Wert auf Hygiene gelegt wird, was uns als Gäste ein sehr angenehmes Gefühl gegeben hat. Auch die Außenanlage war beeindruckend: Der Poolbereich war sauber und einladend, und selbst die Gehwege und Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren stets in tadellosem Zustand. Es war eine Freude, Zeit in dieser Umgebung zu verbringen, die Ruhe und Erholung fördert. Insgesamt ein Hotel, das in puncto Sauberkeit und gepflegter Anlage absolut überzeugt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es nur weiterempfehlen!

I believe the dining area could be more spacious, as its current capacity seems limited. The tables are not always prepared on time and may not be cleaned thoroughly. Additionally, the glasses in both the dining and pool areas often appear to be stained. The towels provided at the poolside seem worn out. On a positive note, the towels in the rooms are of good quality, and the room cleaning service is satisfactory

Overall, we had a great experience at the Rixos. The kids thoroughly loved the stay. However, the check-in process took quite a long time, and the room cleaning could be improved.

Firstly the staff are amazing. I could not fault any of the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants. They were very helpful, always with a smile on their face. We have stayed in many rixos hotels in the past in other countries and the standard is what made us book the rixos in Doha. However we did have a few issues which did unfortunately did not make our stay as good as it should have been for a rixos branded hotel. We also found for an all inclusive there were a lot of extra chargeable things in the stay which we felt was not right given the amount of money we had already paid for the stay. On our first night we went up to bed and opened the covers to find there was stains on the bedding. So we had to call housekeeping and wait for them to change the bedding. We booked the Rasa restaurant and our chicken in the starters was raw which two of our party ate and we subsequently were sick the next day with an upset stomach.

I recently stayed at this resort and had an incredible experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and I’d like to give a special mention to Sameer from the cleaning team. He was so attentive and made sure everything was perfectly clean each day, adding that extra touch to our stay. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and welcoming getaway!

Hotel is only a ten minute taxi ride from the airport. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. We had a sea view room which was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of sunbeds, staff removed towels that had been left there without occupancy. The buffet restaurant was good, if a touch busy at times but the best was the steak restaurant. Not only was the food top quality but it is also a nice quiet place to have pre or post dinner drinks. The staff at the outdoor bar were good as were the staff at the snack bar. The city is accessible by uber or taxi. Overall a really pleasant stay.

Room was large and lovely beds. No hooks for bathrobes or wet towels. Outdoor dining area not enough tables and clearing if tables slow. Inside dining room was very chilly with A/C. Hotel wanted to charge for real milk to be sent to room. Dining wasca bit if a scrum and food was not to western tastes.

My stay was not as relaxing as hoped-very loud music is played until approximately 11pm, this might be quieter on the non-sea view side though. Finding a table for lunch each day was challenging and took 10-15 mins, the restaurant is not large enough and the layout means you constantly bump into people. The staff were lovely though!

Our stay at Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha was amazing from start to finish! The staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The room was spotless with a beautiful view, and we loved relaxing by the pool and on the private beach. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of variety, and the location made it easy to get to the Corniche and other attractions. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Doha!

We stayed at Rixos for a week (May to June 2025) and it was great, the rooms were clean and the service was fantastic, especially from Manoj, Qaisar and Oye. I would highly recommend it for families and i would stay here again.

We stayed at the Rixos for 7 nights at half board in early February. The staff were extremely helpful and kind throughout. The cleaning staff are exceptional always keeping your room clean and topped up with water etc.

We returned to this hotel, which we had greatly appreciated in the past. Unfortunately, we noticed that the overall attention to guests is not quite at the same level as before, and there were a few unpleasant situations at the beginning of our stay. That said, I would like to highlight the professionalism of the Guest Relations Manager Farouk Bouyahya, who promptly and effectively stepped in to resolve everything in a smooth and efficient manner. This intervention truly made a difference to our experience. A special thank you also goes to Othman Yousfi in the dining room: attentive to details, polite, and always available. His care and service made our meals very enjoyable. We would also like to thank the chef Hafid, who prepared an excellent pasta — simply delicious and a true highlight of our dining experience. Overall, our stay turned out to be positive, although with some reservations. We sincerely hope the hotel will return to the high standards of excellence we had experienced in the past.

Room was great and most staff were courteous. I was not given good service by the staff that manned the drinks truck and the food truck near the beach area, in fact they were quite rude so people were reluctant to order from them.

I stayed here in January/February and wrote a five star review. I chose to return on the basis of my experience, this time with my husband! I was in regular contact with the hotel in the run up to the holiday which made our poor check in experience very disappointing. We were not assigned to the type of room we had booked. The hotel did respond the next day but as we were there for short time , it did impact on our stay. The reason I have still given a five star review is that ultimately the guest relations manager went out of her way to seek to provide some redress. All the things I had enjoyed previously were much same, despite the fact that the hotel was extremely busy resulting in the buffet and pool areas being particularly stretched. As one of the pool areas is adults only - and extremely well policed- this minimised the negative impact there. The attitude of some guests, particularly towards staff was bordering on unacceptable. Customer facing staff and dining options, particularly in the speciality restaurants, were a highlight. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable and well serviced.

The hotel was clean and room was spacious. Staff from valet to receptionist were nice. The breakfast at farmhouse was good. Nice variety of different cuisine. Egg station to order your favourite eggs. Staff were very friendly. The in house restaurant and lobby cafe were very expensive. The food quality at Rasa was not good. Service was poor too. The location is great, and only short drive away from most lication. I would advice to eat elsewhere. Also beware they take a hold of 500qar on your card per day, then at check out they charge your card again for all the extra. The hold apparently stays for 14 days So if you are on limited budget your money is on hold for up to 14 days.

Die Lage des Hotels ist echt super. Aussicht aus dem 6. Stock ob Tag oder Nacht war sehr toll. Essensauswahl war Top und zur Ramadanzeit empfehle ich das Iftaressen. Wir haben auch einen kostenlosen Upgrade bekommen. Danke nochmal dafür. Anlage ist nicht so groß und perfekt für Familien. Wir würden auf jedenfall wieder kommen. Doha ist sehr sauber und schön. Die einzigen Punkte die ich nur erwähnen kann sind: dass im Hauptrestaurant einige Servicekräfte etwas langsamer mit der Getränkeaufnahme sind und im Hauptpool auf den Fliesenfugen schon etwas Moosbildung war. Das bekommt man aber sicher leicht und schnell wieder hin. Ansonsten wie immer in diesen tollen Ländern ist die Gastfreundschaft perfekt. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und man hat alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. die ganze Anlage war immer sauber. Nachdem wir schon in mehr als 200 Hotels übernachtet haben, kann ich nur sagen dass dieses Hotel zu den besten 10 gehört. Danke für die tolle Woche und liebe Grüße

Only downside is it is a little remote for doing stuff in the city centre but only 10mins in a taxi. On the other hand its location is very close to the airport!

Hotel itself was great - good pools and service. What let it down was the buffet restaurant - very chaotic and not enough seating. Food was good - but the environment didn’t match the standard of the rest of the hotel

We just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone at Rixos for looking after us so well during our week long stay at the hotel last week. The hotel is excellently appointed, and in a good location making it easily accessible to the main attractions, and our room was perfect. The food at both breakfast and for evening dinner as part of our half board package was really good, with plenty of choice and variety. Overall, we had a lovely time and everyone without exception was warm, friendly and nothing but helpful. Just a notable mention however for everyone who works in the Farmhouse restaurant at breakfast and for dinner. They work tirelessly and always with a smile. It’s really hard to single out any one individual given everyone was so attentive and welcoming, but a special thank you to Duncan and Kiki for their hard work and care and attention they gave us at breakfast and evening dinner - they are a huge credit and ambassadors for Rixos Doha. We really hope to be able to come back to Doha and the Rixos again.

First the good things, the staff is great and the rooms are nice. The bad things, the food in the farmhouse is terrible. Same things are served during lunch and dinner and only Turkish and Indian food that is lukewarm. You are only allowed to the other restaurants once every third night. Limited number of free cocktails with cheap liquoer. The infinity pool has algaes which is an indication of bad quality of water. Really bad all inclusive concept.

We stayed here last year and loved it, but this time we were disappointed. The beachside pool was overcrowded, dirty, with broken tiles and sharp metal that injured us. Staff listened but didn’t fix it. The pool was full of day-pass guests, which didn’t suit a family vibe. We also noticed staff being overly strict with female guests. After leaving, the hotel showed no interest in resolving it. On the plus side, the rooms were clean, and the mini-fridge was well stocked. But it feels like the hotel doesn’t know where it fits in Doha’s scene. If it’s for families, it should reduce external guests and add kid-focused activities. It needs to decide its market focus.

Stayed for 3 nights, had the dinner buffet for all the nights. On the first night some of the Food options were cold and bland, the watermelon started to rot and you can tell some food was leftover from lunch service. However the other 2 night they changed the whole menu with fresher food but some still bland and dry Other than that the hotel pools, beach and facilities were enjoyable for my kids.

It was a good experience overall. However, dinner and breakfast quality could be improved. The beach also feels too crowded, with too many umbrellas and seats packed together. Also, the security staff at the entrance could be more welcoming and smile more often. Byron at reception was excellent and very professional, and Losethe in the breakfast room was very helpful and welcoming.
