Oasis is located on the border of old and new Panama City so easy access to anything. It is a unique place that adds to its charm - even tho there was insufficient hot water to even shave with and the internet was not good I still give this place a thumbs up.

Great location to the plaza, restaurants, fish market and easy Uber pickup/drop off; Our room had the balcony overlooking the water for fantastic sunrise and evening lights view of the city. Very clean; Roof top bar amazing atmosphere, food and drinks

The hotel is centrally located in the historic district and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi for one entire day so it's frustrating. However, this may not be entirety their fault. My particular room has no windows at all.

Reasonably priced for the area. Spacious rooms. Comfortable bed and great shower. Helpful staff. Some rooms had no natural light. The rooftop bar was especially loud on weekend nights.

We enjoyed our stay our room had beautiful views of the city,there is also a roof deck lounge witch is open in the evening. If you like it quite than this is not the property for you lots of traffic and people but we known that it did not bother us. The one thing we had difficulty with was the front door entry system but the staff ever helpful opened the door for us.

No AC in the lobby and noise from the rooftop heard in the room until 5am was unbearable causing us to end our stay here early. Staff was accommodating (when available) and the location was great.

The good - the location cannot be beat, so walkable and safe. The rooms are clean. The rooftop bar has an amazing view. The bad - theres no hot water, if I had know I could have mentally prepared at least. The rooftop bar is unfathomably loud on weekends. I usually wear ear plugs and even 2 floors away it was rough.

The hotel is fantastic. BUT big BUT the rooftop loud music kills any good review. It would be fantastic for it to be a nice soft music bar to enjoy and relax. Instrad, it wants to be like a disco with super loud music reverberating through the building, drunk people leaving the premises screaming and laughing out loud at 2am

Great crash pad hotel in the heart of Casco Viejo. Hotel has huge rooms for a very good price, but they are a little on the older side. Staff was nice, room was clean, and you cannot beat the location. Hotel also has a rooftop bar with great views of the city. The Casco area is gorgeous, extremely safe, and has plenty of options for food and drink. Heads up - there are some clubs nearby and it can get pretty loud at night. It didn't bother me, but it may not be ideal for others.

Don't show up before check-in, they lock you out and ignore you. And then after checking in, the room smelled of strong chemicals and stained one of my t shirts that I left on the bed. The room was pretty, but they haven't figured out how to keep the entire room a comfortable temperature. 2/5, it would have to be a last resort for me to come back here

I made a poor choice with Oasis. If you want to party stay her as they have a club on the roof. If you want to sleep before 2 am DO NOT STAY HERE. The music was so loud in our room I could hear it through ear plugs and over the ear noise cancelling head phones. We left a night early. They offered to refund a night but never did. I feel like Oasis lied from the start in their advertisement on Expedia. Oasis should communicate they are a club first and hotel second so people don't waste their money. When you walk in the hotel it looks nice. The rooms are nice, more like apartments than hotels. The first thing you notice though is a horrendous smell of body odor. It’s prevalent throughout the hotel. Additionally our room had mold on the ceiling and the ac didn’t work. It was clearly malfunctioning and making a lot of loud noises and it didn’t cool the room. This hotel has potential but they need to make a decision if they want to be a club or a hotel because you can’t satisfy hotel patrons wanting some rest and play ridiculous club music until 2am.

The hotel is in a great location in the of city walking distance to everything. Our room had a small kitchen, separate bedroom, very large clean bathroom. There are no windows in the unit, which I didn’t mind, actually the room was so dark it was great for sleeping, but if you need windows that may be an issue. Amazing rooftop area for drinks. I recommend this place.

We stayed in the room called comfort duplex for three nights. Here are a few considerations: - There is a noisy lounge on the top floor that has club level music reverberating throughout the hotel since there is an open space in the middle of the building from top to bottom. (It seems like the hotel is a retrofit that closed in the courtyard.) It shares an elevator and entrance with the hotel, which meant there were loud partiers whooping in the lobby. We stayed there from Thurs - Sat, there was loud music every night. However, the last night was the loudest and longest, we were kept up until 3:30 am. I gave the service two stars because I was offered a refund for this night, which I do appreciate. I think this hotel needs to decide whether it's an oasis to relax in or a party hotel, because it can't be both. The advertising should reflect this. - I found the advertising on the suite to be somewhat misleading. It says it has window screens. However, the windows do not look into the outdoors, but rather into the lobby, and there is a lot of light that comes into the room. We nicknamed the room our "bright cave" because there is no natural light but too much lobby light (as well as emergency and AC lights that can't be turned off) for there to be a comfortable level of dark in the room. Looking at the site afterward, it must be rooms with a "city view" that have real windows. Also, cookware is advertised but there are no pots or pans, so don't depend on using the stove.

Everything about my stay was perfect. The room was huge and amazing for the price. The hotel is in a great, safe location within quick walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a rooftop bar that can be loud at night if you have a higher level room, but the hotel provides ear plugs for more light sleepers. It helps to know “survival Spanish” to communicate, but the same can be said in general throughout Panama City.

The property was quaint boutique. The view from our balcony was spectacular and location ideal. However, we were there for 3 days and our room keys never worked, staff would show up 1.5hr late morning shift. On morning we walked next door to get coffe and when we came back could not get back in the building until another guest came out 15 mins later. There door card system is not reliable and staff doesnt always provide accurate informstion. We witnesses a couplevrequestvto have their items stored for 2 days in the locked office while they were away on an excursion. The office door was left open and of course there was no staff. I would not stay there again. There are literally dozens of other spots in casco viejo that i would try before retuning to Oasis Hotel

It is in a great location, close to many highlights in the Casco viejo, though that also makes is noisy at night. Old odd building with spacious, clean rooms with nice east-facing balcony on street to enjoy morning coffee. The staff presence at reception is spotty, which can be disconcerting. wonderful rooftop terrace to enjoy the evening!

This hotel has potential but they need to make a decision if they want to be a club or a hotel because you can’t satisfy hotel patrons wanting some rest and play ridiculous club music until 2am.

I made a poor choice with Oasis. If you want to party stay her as they have a club on the roof. If you want to sleep before 2 am DO NOT STAY HERE. The music was so loud in our room I could hear it through ear plugs and over the ear noise cancelling head phones. We left a night early. They offered to refund a night but never did. I feel like Oasis lied from the start in their advertisement on Expedia. Oasis should communicate they are a club first and hotel second so people don't waste their money. When you walk in the hotel it looks nice. The rooms are nice, more like apartments than hotels. The first thing you notice though is a horrendous smell of body odor. It’s prevalent throughout the hotel. Additionally our room had mold on the ceiling and the ac didn’t work. It was clearly malfunctioning and making a lot of loud noises and it didn’t cool the room. El lugar en general está bien. Sin embargo, si presentas algún tipo de inconveniente en horas de la noche estarás completamente solo pues su personal no labora en esas horas. Tuve que esperar en el lobby un aproximado de 2h, hasta que alguien llegue para que me ayuden y poder acceder a mi habitación ya que en código de la puerta no funcionaba.

The Casco area is gorgeous, extremely safe, and has plenty of options for food and drink. Heads up - there are some clubs nearby and it can get pretty loud at night. We enjoyed our stay our room had beautiful views of the city,there is also a roof deck lounge witch is open in the evening. If you like it quite than this is not the property for you lots of traffic and people but we known that it did not bother us. The one thing we had difficulty with was the front door entry system but the staff ever helpful opened the door for us.

Amazing location and room. I was amazed at how large the room was. Especially for the great price. People complained about the noise fro large rooftop bar but it wasn’t that bad. I would stay here every time. The restaurants below were also excellent.

The hotel is in a great location in the of city walking distance to everything. Our room had a small kitchen, separate bedroom, very large clean bathroom. There are no windows in the unit, which I didn’t mind, actually the room was so dark it was great for sleeping, but if you need windows that may be an issue. Amazing rooftop area for drinks. I recommend this place.

Hotel con excelente ubicación en el Casco Viejo de Panamá. Nuestra habitación contaba con dos habitaciones con una vista espectacular a la ciudad. Nos gustó mucho su rooftop bar y su restaurante/Pizzerría. Cabe señalar que por la estructura estar ubicada dentro del Casco Viejo pues se entiende que las habitaciones no sean tan modernas. Al momento de la visita se estaban realizando mejoras menores en las habitaciones adyacentes. El servicio de todos sus empleados fue de mucho respeto hacia nosotros. El lugar es muy seguro dentro y fuera del hotel. Sin duda alguna volvería a hospedarme.

eu com certeza voltaria e me hospedaria la de novo! fica bem na entrada do casco viejo então é muito fácil se locomover por lá. até no quesito de chamar carro, não fica não preso no trânsito que tem no casco. o apartamento é lindo, a vista é sensacional e a cama muito espaçosa e confortável. recomendo pra todo mundo!!!! fica rodeado de restaurantes lindos e tem um rooftop bar bem em cima caso interessa (achei que poderia ficar muito barulho pra dormir, mas achei bem tranquilo e não incomodou ninguém que tava comigo!)

The staff was amazing and so responsive -- they truly are very impressive going up and down all the stairs, and located a lost passport. Having the rooftop bar in the hotel was a perk -- we did not expect it to be as fun as it was!! Loved it.

El Hotel Oasis es mi preferido en el casco viejo. Es la tercera vez en poco más de un año que me hospedo aquí y cada vez me gusta más. Claudia was just AMAZING to help me with my booking. When we got to the hotel, she remembered my from our chat on WhatsApp and had the room (huge room two floors) ready for us (my husband and three kids and I). When I asked her if I can do laundry, without hesitation she took our huge load and took care of it. The clothes came back to the room very nice cleaned and folded. The location is pretty nice around the old town and the area is starting to grow and be more trendy and renovated. The views from the roof are amazing. The staff is super friendly. The place was very clean and very nicely decorated- if you like small boutiques that has a special style and vibe, this is the place. Can’t recommend enough stating there and specially allowing Claudia to manage it. She’s the best!
