The place was great! Location was in an area where you could walk to many local places. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasteful. Rooms were clean. Host gave a very nice history lesson on the Gable House and Durango. Excellent breakfast provided by the hostess.

This was our second visit to the Gable House and as the first visit 4 years ago everything was so perfect. The room was very comfortable as was the feeling in the whole house, loved the mattress too. Breakfast prepared by Tracie was tasty and unique, filling enough to get the day going and Charlie was a font of information about the house and sights to visit in the area. Definitely recommend staying there!

Tracie and Charlie were the most accommodating Airbnb hosts we have ever stayed with. They provided fantastic local recommendations and added so many thoughtful touches that made our trip truly unforgettable. It’s obvious that they put a great deal of care and thought into creating a comfortable and welcoming guest experience. The morning breakfast was exceptional, but the best part was sitting down and chatting with them about the history of the house and the local area. Those conversations made our stay feel especially personal and memorable. We highly recommend staying at the Gable House when visiting the charming town of Durango. It was a wonderful experience, and we would happily stay here again!

Séjour merveilleux ! La maison, classée, est magnifique. Les hôtes sont très sympathique et agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le petit-déjeuner délicieux. Je recommande vivement !

I had a delightful three night stay at the Gable House. It is centrally located and a nice walk to downtown Durango. The breakfasts were excellent and truly gourmet quality. Make sure you plan an appropriate enough time to enjoy this lovely meal served at 8:30 am. Host were also extremely friendly.
