Finest Retreats - The Chicken Coop

Pros: Free access to the farm park was an added touch for the kids, especially as you could visit out of hours - had it to ourselves! Cream tea provided, fruit basket, bread and milk! Nice burger shack on site, 5 mins from local amenities outside the Farm and the hosts were welcoming and not invasive. Only three huts on site, so nice and private. Onsite farm shop, tea room etc all well stocked! All in all, a lovely get away! Con: The sofa bed was not very comfortable.

The host was super responsive, helpful and kind. Could not recommend this place more! Was clean, inviting and perfectly relaxing.

There is not much to improve on at all - my only two minor observations are 1) a set of bbq tongs would be helpful as you do provide a bbq and 2) the quality of the coffee provided in the pod is awful. So either please provide good quality coffee in the pod in sachets to keep it fresh - or, stock decent instant coffee powder in the shop for purchase. Otherwise, pretty much faultless!

Spotless clean, afternoon tea as a present, fruits and very very kind stuff. Farm in general full of love to animals and you can see people love what they do! Highly recommended
