We’ve stayed here before and definitely will stay here again. It’s so easy to walk 20 metres to the pub for a delicious meal too.

Clean and serviced units, tastefully decorated , with continental breakfast with juice, milk, coffee/tea all replenished daily. Parking out front of room. Rooms are private with curtains and blinds to front window, with desk, mini fridge, wardrobe and bench space for luggage. Easy walk to the tavern and all other pubs and restaurants in town. Lots of great shops, antique stores and historical sites.

Good size room, comfortable bed , no road noise. Good size fridge with free basic breakfast. TV is a bit old but works ok. Nice place to stay at a fair price.

Very pleasant welcome on arrival and thorough information given (although some of it turned out incorrect). The room was basic but had good amenities with continental breakfast provided. The bed was on the hard side. On the surface, everything was clean but found to be in need of attention behind doors, around light switches and handles and on the entry patio. The meal at the Tavern was very good. Just very disappointed we had very little sleep due to other guests partying next door. When we rang reception they came and asked them to quieten down (11pm) but they still carried on, albeit a little quieter, till well after midnight.

Overall the stay was good. But the aircon was noisy and the bathroom floor was sticky. We did bring thongs (luckily) to use around the room. The staff memebers were lovely and the food at the tavern was great!

Had an enjoyable one night stay. Room was lovely and clean. Appreciated the continental breakfast that was left in the room for us for the following morning, and dinner at the tavern was pretty good. Only complaint was being woken by a large group of intoxicated people leaving the tavern at close who hung around in the car park being quite loud for a while, but other than that was a good stay. Thankyou!

Very clean spacious room with great breakfast provisions, friendly staff, bistro had huge meals at great prices excellent value for money. Our room had a big shower without a screen which sprayed water from toilet to vanity which made the tiles very slippery and everything got wet. Overall very happy with our stay would stay again without hesitation.

The room was clean, spacious and everything we needed was provided. Situated behind the tavern was helpful for dining option but when the tavern closed and people were leaving, they were very noisy, loud voices and car doors banging for about an hour from 11 till midnight.

We were in room 8 and no Wi-Fi there. If you move closer to the pub you do pick up the Wi-Fi . Get discount at the pub for drinks as well but not the food.

Pretty good place to stay. Clean. Free in room continental breakfast was a nice touch. Friendly lady who checked us in. A small discount off some deinks at the co-located tavern. Set back from the highway, so you couldn't hear the passing traffic. Unfortunately the night that we stayed there was a band playing in the tavern and it was loud. Perhaps better for a mid week stay when that can be avoided

If any one wants to stay here they would be pleasantly surprised by the reception and the excellent service from all the staff including the lovely lady who serviced our room. I would not hesitate book there again. I would even go back now and stay again it being such a lovely experience.

Room was cosy and comfortable. Some early morning noise from departing guests and garbage collection but otherwise room was good. Housekeeping lady was brilliant. Restaurant, different story. Grumpy hostess. Food average at best. Better restaurants within walking distance.

Thank you to the amazing staff at this place. Chef, Mark provided us with excellent food options & service. Sophia, in the bar, gave exceptional service with a smile everytime. The room staff keep the accommodation clean & comfortable. Thank you we would definitely stay here again.

This is a good place to stay overnight. It was simply a stopover and suited us. Good pubs near and Bald Rock National Park is a must-do if you have a spare 2 hours.

Room was very clean, tidy & comfortable - Convenient being next to the bistro - wouldn’t return to the bistro though - entree very small for the price you pay, salt and pepper squid (only received 5 small pieces of squid and was under cooked) $14 and average in taste - steak tough and chewy - lamb cutlets were good though.. we have had the experience, most likely won’t return.

This is our second stay at the Tavern - the room is really nice and comfortable and the staff are helpful. The only issue being that we were in town visiting family both times and this time both the nights we stayed (Friday and Saturday) were interrupted by the incredible volume from the patrons of the tavern itself. Totally understand people younger and cooler than I staying up past midnight on the weekend but it made it almost impossible to go to sleep before then and despite closing the windows it felt like the screaming, whooping, cheering and singing of the national anthem at 11pm was happening right outside our door. To sum up, the accom is great - but can be complicated due to the proximity of the bar.
