Floors in room were so dirty, your socks and shoes got black! Curtains had rips in them.Peeling paint in kitchen, soap, shampoo and hand soap dispensers empty. Homeless people living off the side of the building in the woods. I do have to say the pool area was very well kept. And NO BUGS! Thats a major plus.

Nope, nope and nope. We paid about $350 on a Saturday night and it wasn’t worth $100. No amenities. Like two ice machines for 400 rooms. Smoke sector beeping when we came in. Not even wired to A/C. Won’t stay again.

They make it look good in the photos, but it is a very old property and I did not feel safe. There were no amenities. The price was very high for what it was. The bed was clean.

Our stay was just okay. The pictures of this property posted online are very misleading. Please note, this is a motel, NOT a hotel. The front counter was very dirty. This is the one area that should ALWAYS be clean because it is the first impression the guests receive. I saw bugs and cob webs in certain areas. The check in area is located at the same entrance as the IHOP restaurant which was very bizarre. The IHOP restroom is located near the counter of the motel, so they share a bathroom. This must be inconvenient for IHOP customers. This bathroom was small and dirty. Our room was very spacious. We stayed in a studio. Bathtub was spacious. We had problems operating the television. Property was a little sketchy. We didn’t see much people staying there and the people that were looked very odd. It didn’t come off as a family oriented place to stay. Overall it was okay.

We stayed in the HomeTowne Studios for a little over two weeks. It’s rated as a 3 star hotel, but was inferior to the adjoining 2 star Red Roof rooms. We had previously booked a suite with a king bed… apparently they don’t have any, just queen beds. On arrival, we found the door badly beat up with the security latch busted off. The kitchenette sink tap leaked so bad, the water ran onto the floor. The shower only dribbled, not enough to shower. The towel rack was falling off the wall. All 3 smoke detectors had been disabled by opening the battery compartments. Heavy mold around the bathtub. Internet very poor and would stop occasionally. Air conditioner would not work. Lots of mouse poop in the kitchen cabinets. Not much hot water... the staff told us to run it till it warmed up... about 45 minutes to get warm water. As for good – good beds, linens and towels, nice flooring. Lots of parking. Staff helpful as they replaced the kitchen tap and air conditioner, repaired the shower, put new batteries in the smoke detector.

They told me i had $100 deposit then charged $120 the room was nasty when i walked in. Had stuff like tooth floss tool stuck in the shower drain. The room smelled like cat pee and some other funky odor.

The beds were clean & comfortable which is all we needed for the night. The floors desperately need to be mopped…our feet were black after walking across them. We kept our shoes on the rest of the time and had to wash our feet off w/a washcloth before getting into bed. Gross! The staff was super friendly & helpful & check-in was quick & easy!

We were very disappointed! The photos we reviewed on the website must have been old photos including the TVs didn’t work…. They had to send someone to fix them. The roaches on the floor under the chair was the worst! We left early…. We couldn’t stay any longer!

One person I asked by phone did not know what I meant. Day One in hospitality perhaps? -Lots of potential and I bet staff works hard but…ironing board with no cover on it in room 1; in room 2 no iron. Bugs. (Need I say more?) I got the no smoke room me and my girlfriend don’t like the smell of cigarettes, but as soon as you step into the room you get hit with the stench. A panel for the tub was broken and the the restroom itself had a strong smell of weed. I called the staff and they claimed the cleaning crew didn’t report any smells. We later realized that the smoke from smokers gets into the AC and gets pushed into the rooms.

Booked and paid for 3 king suites. We only were given 2 suites. The rooms smelled like bleach so bad that we woke up with sore throats. I also woke up to a flood in the room coming from under the bed. Stepped down into water when getting out of bed. Remote for the tv only turned it on and off. Could not adjust the channel or volume. I informed the desk of all of this at checkout and was told sorry. No compensation.

At 1am front desk clerk sends a customer to my room by mistake and instead of realizing the room was occupied with the safety latch attached. He starts trying to push his way in.. scariest situation I've been in with my wife. We checked out. Never will go to a red roof again.

We stayed for hurricane Milton, and the overall service was excellent, despite the circumstances.Tash at the front desk was always very cordial and friendly, the rooms were always been cleaned and along with maintenance they were very prompt, they attended to your needs in less than 5 minutes even though the hotel was full!!! 😳 I'm very pleased with our stay! Thank you!

A one star is way more than this hotel even deserves. I am absolutely disgusted by the hotel/management. I booked 3 rooms, 2 nights for our employees working out of town they work nights, because they are in the road construction business . They arrived to be checked in at a ihop front desk, hookers trying to reserve rooms to run there business out of and sneak men in followed by police arriving as someone overdosed and narcan was used to bring them back to life. This was an unsafe environment, homeless people hanging in the parking lot. our guys complained, and refused to spend anymore time there. We booked this through Expedia they tried multiple times for a refund to be approved only for a rude young lady to continue to hang up, I’ve personally called multiple times to speak with the manager and I either get hung up on, told they aren’t there and will call back and nothing. I just received an email saying the hotel has declined any refund requests. It’s baffling to me the level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability for the run down circumstances. They have neglected to do the right thing and it’s extremely distasteful!!! I understand, they checked in around 5pm which I can accept not giving a refund for that night but to completely reject a refund for the 2nd when our guys didn’t even stay there any of the nights. This place is terrible and do not book!!!!
A one star is way more than this hotel even deserves. I am absolutely disgusted by the hotel/management. I booked 3 rooms, 2 nights for our employees working out of town they work nights, because they are in the road construction business . They arrived to be checked in at a ihop front desk, hookers trying to reserve rooms to run there business out of and sneak men in followed by police arriving as someone overdosed and narcan was used to bring them back to life. This was an unsafe environment, homeless people hanging in the parking lot. our guys complained, and refused to spend anymore time there. We booked this through Expedia they tried multiple times for a refund to be approved only for a rude young lady to continue to hang up, I’ve personally called multiple times to speak with the manager and I either get hung up on, told they aren’t there and will call back and nothing. Unexpected large deposit and the lobby smelled like a nasty bathroom. Poor customer service. The room was decent but no dishes or pot for the kitchen with stove burners. Why have a kitchen with no dishes? We wont be back.

I stood in a line with only 4 ppl in front of me for over and hour then the front desk canceled my reservation acting like I canceled it when I still had to reservation on my phone and threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave because I asked did they give the room away these people were very rude and nasty literally

We were guided by three different employees to pick different rooms and we move to all three and every time we moved to a room and another employee would say we couldn’t be in that room. It was a mess finally on the day that we were getting ready to check out one of the managers did not knock on the door. He just unlocked the door while my children Minor children were sleeping in their underwear and stormed right in. I told him he needs to get out of the way and knock on the door that we still had a half hour before we had to leave the property. They were extremely rude not helpful. I would not want to be there and I should be receiving some kind of refund on this property as well.

This is one star at best. -Nowhere were we told to check in at IHOP. No signage directing us A simple “office” sign on the actual units would be helpful. -No cribs for infants. One person I asked by phone did not know what I meant. Day One in hospitality perhaps? -Lots of potential and I bet staff works hard but…ironing board with no cover on it in room 1; in room 2 no iron. Bugs. (Need I say more?) Faucets that don’t work, A/C doesn’t work consistently, safety locks on door broken, arriving at midnight there were drugged out people wandering around and it didn’t feel safe; gaps under room door large enough to allow crawly things to enter; 2 night stay had no housekeeping after 1 night.

They make it look good in the photos, but it is a very old property and I did not feel safe. There were no amenities. The price was very high for what it was. The bed was clean.

They gave me the wrong room. The area is to dark and doesnt look safe. The room they gave me was all the way in a back alley and it was real dark. I feel i was over charged for the room and to be honest i did not stay in the room. I stood somewhere else and feel i should get some of my money back.

Our stay was just okay. The pictures of this property posted online are very misleading. Please note, this is a motel, NOT a hotel. The front counter was very dirty. This is the one area that should ALWAYS be clean because it is the first impression the guests receive. I saw bugs and cob webs in certain areas. The check in area is located at the same entrance as the IHOP restaurant which was very bizarre. The IHOP restroom is located near the counter of the motel, so they share a bathroom. This must be inconvenient for IHOP customers. This bathroom was small and dirty. Our room was very spacious. We stayed in a studio. Bathtub was spacious. We had problems operating the television. Property was a little sketchy. We didn’t see much people staying there and the people that were looked very odd. It didn’t come off as a family oriented place to stay. Overall it was okay.

There is no microwave in the room. The stairs were very beat up. Anybody could’ve fell. The front staff. Manager was just sitting there while her employee was having a hard time checking us in.

The property does not match the pictures online the quality is much much less the rooms are dirty the air conditioning doesn't work the refrigerator don't work there were holes in the walls the paint is coming off they were stains on the sheets from blood and what look like bed bugs and they were blood drops all over the bathroom as well as the bathtub was cracking and there were holes all over the walls and the bathroom oh yeah and the best part not one drop of soap in the entire place 10 out of 10 do not recommend

No soap. Lights falling down from the ceiling. Disgusting property. My car got dented in the parking lot somehow?? The lady at check in was very nice so she gets a star. The other folks I talked to on the phone couldn't even find my reservation. Stay away.
