It’s a lovely boutique hotel that has historic origins but has been fitted out very nicely now as a hotel. The attached Italian restaurant is excellent - we had two meals there and thoroughly enjoyed each. There is no staff to deal with - a lady came from the restaurant to let us our room key and we never saw anyone then. Lots of history in the area - 20 minutes to Shiner and the Spoetzel brewery for the tours there. 10 minutes from the Ottine Mineral Springs Spa. We’ve recommended it to friends travelling soon to the area.

Very pretty hotel and very clean and pretty rooms. We never really saw any staff there and I think it must be owned by the people who have the restaurant next-door. But all in all very easy check in check out and very comfortable. Stay. Highly recommend.
