Plus var läget och skön musik i restaurangen. Minus var att alla solstolar och även matborden på stranden bokades upp som att det var en tävling. Kom du ut efter 8 på morgonen så var det fullt. Hotellet borde reglera det bättre. Lite sliten anläggning. Frukosten var helt okej.

Best beach on island in my opinion. Room needs tlc. Bed ok quite peaceful. Transportation is quite expensive to anywhere. Nice restaurants walkable. Need more beach chairs as have the people who put towels on chairs and leave for hours. Hate that. All spots gone by 7 am and nobody there until hours or never. Buffet ok Bed ok

Pros: the staff work extremely hard and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Massages on the beach also excellent. Amazing birdsong. Cons: the resort is not that picturesque. The rooms are functional, but quite basic and not nicely designed. The beachfront is visually quite messy and there are a lot of people crowding onto the beach, with far too few sun loungers to go around. People get up early to put their towels on the loungers, which is not an enjoyable vibe. There’s a fire display (young men juggling with fire) every evening, which may not be to everyone’s taste - and which generates an overpowering smell of petrol while you’re eating your food. The crowd at this hotel is mainly retirees, so not a very glamorous spot, although certainly quiet at night. There are definitely nicer beaches on Koh Samet, so I based myself here (having pre-booked) but spent my days elsewhere.

Lækker Resort med fin strand og 20 minutter gåafstand til selve hovedbyen på Koh Samet. Vi spiste to gange frokost på stedet. Personalet er søde og flinke, men køkkenet var desværre mega langsom. Stedet mangler en del solskærme og der var derfor allerede rift om de få. Allerede før morgenmaden reserverede gæsterne derfor pladser med håndklæder.

Wonderful resort. Very nice beach. Quiet but easy walk to bars etc. Nice breakfast included. Restaurant has great food reasonably priced. Have wonderful friendly dogs including Soda a golden retriever that swims with guests all day. We loved the resort.

The huts are really cute. Direct access t the beach and the breakfast is really great. Prices are good for the bar/ restaurant and they have sun beds. The beach is not crowded as it’s not one of the main ones. Would definitely come back

Am besten gefällt mir das sehr ruhig gelege resort das Restaurant direkt am Strand, das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite personal. Ich fühle mich hier rund um wohl.

5th time here. Seafront villa. New bathroom installed & very good job 👍. Food & restaurant service needs drastic improvement ...compared to the several dining choices around the area. Quite a lot of rubbish left in front of my room for the 3 days I was there. Staff not taking it away. Management could do with walking around the property to check. Overall though a very pleasant time at the magnificent beach resort with coral reef directly out the front. Have enjoyed your fishing dogs over the past 7 or do years 😀

A little rustic but perfectly suitable for our needs. The surrounding areas could be cleaner but the resort itself is great. The beach is great. The rooms are more like cabins and we enjoyed it. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was great as well. We would recommend it.

The room was simply decorated, basic but with all necessities including a small fridge (already stocked with water) and very clean. Comfortable bed. Be mindful to book a room with Aircon as rooms are also available with fan only (it's hot!). Staff are friendly and helpful, I didn't actually eat here just had coffee at breakfast time and it's a lovely area to sit and contemplate your day ahead! Very positive experience, beautiful location I WILL visit again! Thank you Tubtim staff!

So this is a great location, with decent restaurant and breakfast. Friendly staff, but sometimes service is slow. The room price can vary quite a bit as they can get busy. As with a lot of places I stay there are usually a lot of little things that could be improved. Water pressure in some rooms is poor, restaurant and menu is ok but not great. I suggest less options but better quality. And the same goes for breakfast, who actually likes ham in water ? Or cold fried eggs ? Anyone ? Why have food trays with heat lamps and then don’t light the lamps ? This place has repeat clients. I am one of them. But they need to be more consistent.

Toppen resor med fantastiskt läge, trevlig personal och en fyrstjärnig frukost. Tyvärr är de stenhårda sängarna ett problem för nattsömnen och helhetsintrycket för Tubtim resort. Ett gått råd är att vid bokning undvika de bungalow som sitter ihop (parhus), mycket lyhört och störande.

Vi är återkommande gäster sedan flera år, på redorten är det trevlig personal, in- och utcheckning gick smidigt. Bra frukost serveras från kl 07:00, men oftast är inte allt framdukat då - så om du vill njuta av hela utbudet vänta en timme. Solstolarna skulle varit skönare om det fanns dynor.

Väldigt trevligt ställe, längst bort på stranden så lite lugnare. Och ändå nära till restauranger. Personalen var så tråkig, berättade ingenting när vi checkade in utan gav oss bara nyckel. Det visade sig sen att vi tex kunde låna strand-handdukar men det berättade de inte. Samt att de kunde hjälpa till att boka utflykter. Personalen kunde verkligen jobba lite med bemötande. Men generellt är vi väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse! Trevligt resort nära stranden, fin strand och trevlig stämning.

Slitna rum, personal dålig på engelska. Ointresserade på restaurangen att hjälpa till! Bättre vid frukosten! I receptionen upplevdes en viss trötthet på turister!! Annars väldigt fin strand!

So this is a great location, with decent restaurant and breakfast. Friendly staff, but sometimes service is slow. The room price can vary quite a bit as they can get busy. As with a lot of places I stay there are usually a lot of little things that could be improved. Water pressure in some rooms is poor, restaurant and menu is ok but not great. I suggest less options but better quality. And the same goes for breakfast, who actually likes ham in water ? Or cold fried eggs ? Anyone ? Why have food trays with heat lamps and then don’t light the lamps ? This place has repeat clients. I am one of them. But they need to be more consistent.

Beautifully situated in a cove that serves up warm, clear water, lush sands, beachfront housing, a delightful menu of Thai traditional favorites and Western options, and staff who are warm, welcoming, and helpful. English is spoken by many staff and they go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Tubtim is situated on a very walkable beach that takes you to other venues, new beachfronts, water activities, and quick access to convenience stores (local and 7-11) and the main arrivals dock is just a short cab ride away. It is my 'happy, go-to place' when a break is needed from the day-to-day work hussle.

Lækker Resort med fin strand og 20 minutter gåafstand til selve hovedbyen på Koh Samet. Vi spiste to gange frokost på stedet. Personalet er søde og flinke, men køkkenet var desværre mega langsom. Stedet mangler en del solskærme og der var derfor allerede rift om de få. Allerede før morgenmaden reserverede gæsterne derfor pladser med håndklæder.

The huts are really cute. Direct access t the beach and the breakfast is really great. Prices are good for the bar/ restaurant and they have sun beds. The beach is not crowded as it’s not one of the main ones. Would definitely come back

Fantastisk dejligt sted. Beliggenheden er dejlig direkte på stranden, som er rolig. Hytten “Balcony Garden view” var perfekt med stor balkon og smuk udsigt. Maden også rigtig god og alle på stedet var hjælpsomme.

TubTim is always our "go-to" place for Koh Samed. It has a wonderful beach with shallow, clean, warm water. The view is terrific, especially from the "N" class bungalows, and the staff are excellent. This is a terrific "value for price" property on Koh Samed; one that we return to often.

Tubtim Beach is one of the great places in the world for a reclusive holiday. It is a beautiful stretch of sand overhung by tropical rainforest trees. The newly opened Reef Lounge bar and restaurant nearby to Tubtim resort offers outstanding quality of food, drinks and service. Truly a wonderful part of Thailand on the eastern shore of Ko Samet. Not for the party crowd, this is somewhere to come and relax in nature.

This was my favourite place to stay in Thailand (after travelling for 4 weeks)! Loved Koh Samed the best. The hotel:resort was clean, very safe, tropical, relaxing, always chairs available, accommodating staff and a chill vibe. Water was crystal clear…. Amazing! Highly recommend.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Fantastic menu for vegetarians/vegans with lots of tofu dishes. Beds were perfect (hard) in my opinion. The chairs on the porch were very uncomfortable Not stiff or fancy in any way - just friendly, cosy and earthly

Die 3 Tage im Tubtim waren Spitze!Die Angestellten sind alle sehr freundlich.Und das Frühstücksbuffets ist mit eines der besten die wir in Asien je bekommen haben. Die Qualität des Essens ist auch super.Der Bungalow in dem wir waren, machte einen sehr guten Eindruck. Auch die Umgebung, Strände und angrenzenden Hotels, waren sauber und sehr schön. Es lohnt sich auf jedenfall die Umgebung zu erkunden. Lasst euch nicht von den negativen Bewertungen auf google usw verunsichern. Die treffen in keinster weise zu.

A little rustic but perfectly suitable for our needs. The surrounding areas could be cleaner but the resort itself is great. The beach is great. The rooms are more like cabins and we enjoyed it. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was great as well. We would recommend it.

Vi fick en väldigt sliten och ofräsch bungalow där duschen inte fungerade. Maten på restaurangen som tillhörde hotellet fick vi vid två tillfällen vänta i över 1 timma på. Sen gav vi upp både hotellet och restaurangen. Frukosten var väldigt god. Stranden väldigt fin, dock paxades alla solstolar väldigt tidigt.

We loved our stay at Tubtim, so much that we stayed an extra 2 nights. We had previously stayed at Wong Duen beach and also explored other bays on the island by scooter/walking, but this was by far our favourite. We had a garden view fan room, which was lovely and suited our needs. We saw amazing birds around the grounds including hornbills and drongos. The prices for food and drink, including in the shop, were a bit higher than other areas, but when you factor in that everything has to be brought by boat the additional cost is to be expected. The included breakfast was delicious and well above what we expected, with lots of choice and great quality. The onsite bar and restaurant were also lovely. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Bra strand och bra läge. God mat på de närliggande restaurangerna och nära in till den lite större byn på ön. Inte mest lyx men riktigt bra. Det enda som vi verkligen saknade var ett gym.

We stayed at Tubtim for 3 weeks, in 3 different bungalows. The bungalows in N Zine are the nicest, but I’d only stay in the beachfront row again. The ‘garden view’ ones are up too many stairs, and we felt disconnected from the beach up there. The staff is great. The beach is amazing. The breakfast is fantastic. My only real complaint is the loungers in the beach. There are never enough for the guests, and staff actually had the 2 or 3 sets of chairs directly closest to the beachfront N Zone bungalows reserved every single day of our stay for other guests. I spent entire days on that beach without those reserved spots ever being used. Yet, when I tried to sit there, staff immediately came over and told me I had to move.
