This place is perfect. Everything was just stunning… room was perfect, decor was perfect, pool was perfect, drinks were perfect and the staff was amazing… staff gave me so many great suggestions for nightlife to bars to restaurants… a must for any gay traveler!!

We had such an amazing stay at Late Birds! The staff was friendly and always there to help and make sure we enjoy our stay to the fullest. The pool and backyard were like an oasis right in the middle of Lisbon. We will definitely consider going back next time!

The staff are so polite and helpful- really nice people. My room was spotless and very quiet as all widows were double glazed. They provided the best breakfast smorgasbord style and yes they have Polish Tarts. There is a lovely outdoor area where you can sun bake or swim in the heated pool. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the area by the pool. Check in and check out was a breeze and our concierge mentioned we could provide a credit card at the end of the stay which was nice. Not use to that in the states. They take your card immediately then put a hold on it for days. lol. Happy hour was fun to discuss your daily activity with other guests and I enjoyed the movie night. Very clean, very safe. And I’d recommend my friends to stay here for their trip to Lisbon. No real concern to address other than one small observation that did not go unnoticed. It’s a very small hotel and it would have been nice if some of the staff could have remembered our names during our stay instead of asking for our room number each time we went to the bar for example. Just seemed a bit impersonal since so many other parts of the experience were so personal. Our stay was really amazing otherwise.

The hotel is as central as an hotel could be, and the cats (who really run it) add an amusing character to quite possibly the nicest gay venue I’ve ever visited. Highest possible recommendation.

Semplicemente FAVOLOSO. E' un Hotel molto elegante, molto confortevole, molto rilassante. Il personale è molto professionale e molto attento ad ogni tua necessità. Colazione ottima. Gli spazi comuni dell'hotel sono molto eleganti, confortevoli, sembra di stare in una casa. La nostra camera la n. 301 è molto luminosa, molto spaziosa, con un arredamento minimal e raffinato, molto silenziosa, letto molto grande e molto comodo. Abbiamo apprezzato molto che l'acqua e le capsule del caffè sono offerte dalla struttura. Mancava il phone per i capelli. I cocktail del bar sono eccellenti, ne abbiamo provati molti. Paulo è un barman di alto livello e Clebber è un gran cuoco. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Lo consigliamo a tutti. A capodanno hanno organizzato una sorpresa molto gradita.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at The Late Birds. The resort was entirely relaxing and conveniently located. The staff were fantastic and created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend, including the Sunset Boat Trip.

An amazing experience, 5 Star. Host Carlos Rico and the whole staff truly made this a pampered experience, without the fuss. The vision of a Gay Urban Resort achieved through each detail in this beautifully renovated 18th century turned modern space. All in the heart of Bairro Alto. Special call outs to Ricardo for his classic margarita, and resident visiting French artist, Martin Dieudonne (love my piece bought). I just must return to join Phillippe on his boat.

The hotel is perfectly situated next to restaurants, bars, shopping and transport. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I've already been recommending this place to my friends, and wouldn't consider anywhere else for my next stay in Lisbon.

Beautiful property and lovely staff. I had a great time and quickly made friends with some of the other guests. I recommend setting aside at least one afternoon of your trip to just relax in the garden by the pool, enjoying their excellent cocktails. I also highly recommend the sunset cruise which was a highlight of our vacation. Breakfast is great, common areas are thoughtful and beautifully furnished. Walk uphill to dining and nightlife in Bairro Alto, or downhill to all the major attractions of central Lisbon. Late Birds is a bit pricier but in my opinion they really deliver for it. I look forward to staying there again someday.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the area by the pool. Check in and check out was a breeze and our concierge mentioned we could provide a credit card at the end of the stay which was nice. Not use to that in the states. They take your card immediately then put a hold on it for days. lol. Happy hour was fun to discuss your daily activity with other guests and I enjoyed the movie night. Very clean, very safe. And I’d recommend my friends to stay here for their trip to Lisbon. No real concern to address other than one small observation that did not go unnoticed. It’s a very small hotel and it would have been nice if some of the staff could have remembered our names during our stay instead of asking for our room number each time we went to the bar for example. Just seemed a bit impersonal since so many other parts of the experience were so personal. Our stay was really amazing otherwise.

Semplicemente FAVOLOSO. E' un Hotel molto elegante, molto confortevole, molto rilassante. Il personale è molto professionale e molto attento ad ogni tua necessità. Colazione ottima. Gli spazi comuni dell'hotel sono molto eleganti, confortevoli, sembra di stare in una casa. La nostra camera la n. 301 è molto luminosa, molto spaziosa, con un arredamento minimal e raffinato, molto silenziosa, letto molto grande e molto comodo. Abbiamo apprezzato molto che l'acqua e le capsule del caffè sono offerte dalla struttura. Mancava il phone per i capelli. I cocktail del bar sono eccellenti, ne abbiamo provati molti. Paulo è un barman di alto livello e Clebber è un gran cuoco. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Lo consigliamo a tutti. A capodanno hanno organizzato una sorpresa molto gradita.

The staff are so polite and helpful- really nice people. My room was spotless and very quiet as all widows were double glazed. They provided the best breakfast smorgasbord style and yes they have Polish Tarts. There is a lovely outdoor area where you can sun bake or swim in the heated pool. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in a total of three hotels while in Portugal. This hotel was by far the best. The room was clean. The ambience was relaxing and the staff was very friendly especially Francisco, who greeted me when I first got there and made sure I felt at home. Sympathische "chwule Atmosphäre mit Gästen aus aller Welt. Herzliches Personal und unkomplizierter Service. Unser garden-terrace-room war für zwei Leute etwas klein und das quietschende Parkett nervig. Die vom Resort angebotene queere Bootstour ist unbedingt zu empfehlen! Die Tour nach Sintra hätten wir uns sparen können (sehr überlaufenes Disney World).

We had a fantastic stay - my second time here. Great location, stylish accommodation, a lovely guesthouse feel where you can chat to the other guests - we loved the breakfast and the outdoor space and small lap pool - really lovely after a hot day walking and sightseeing. We will definitely stay here again!
