Aristonicus Boutique Hotel

It was an old school traditional house nice decorations. Roo, was relaxed and large enough. Breakfast served in the garden was amazing and the staff was very friendly. they need to seal the shower doors better because water is leaking out and there is a need for a squeegee to clean the water. Except that everything was great!

Nice styling boutique hotel in restored old house. Atmosphere is really nice inside but of course need to accept a little bit non standard furniture. Good breakfast in private garden. Good view from windows in both sides. The parking is available in just 50 meters. The main issue is bar nearby with live music till 1 am on Friday. But at the same time it’s chance to hear good Turkish live music.

This is a really nice boutique hotel with friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay. It has a charming courtyard to sit in, is in the old town and very close to Pergamon which is what we went for. Other than breakfast (which was good) there wasn't really catering in the hotel but there were places to go nearby. Bergama is a fairly small and traditional town (read between the lines, almost all places were no alcohol) but we were there to see the history which was great and very interesting and for that this hotel was ideal for us.

Did not like to have a child with no English managing the reception. The hotel has difficult (unsafe) stairs, hard to navigate with luggage.

Inside steps are steep and dangerous for old or frail people. Hot showers and the usual plentiful Turkey breakfast. It is next to the acropolis.

Used as a base to check out the local antiquities of the area.. two night stay.. you shouldn’t be faint hearted driving to the hotel as you have to manoeuvre up through some very tight cobbled roads with buildings closing in on you.. if you can manage that ample parking close to the hotel.. the hotel is very quaint to say the least.. having been a religious school amongst other things.. we.. a group of four loved it.. the host was very attentive and we were well looked after.. you will not go hungry at this establishment as the breakfast is excellent.. would I use it again YES..

This hotel is very much in the ‘faded grandeur’ class, which is what we liked. The room was huge (a suite with 2 rooms actually) but the main drawback was the tiny bathroom with a shower which indeed leaked, although there was a squeegee and a handy drain. No mosquito protection but luckily we didn’t see any. Breakfast in a very pleasant courtyard. Friendly dog and beautiful affectionate cat. Nice staff, not much English spoken so don’t rely on them for planning trips or transport, etc. Air conditioning fine. Brilliant position in the old town under the acropolis near the Red Basilica and walking distance to Asclepion.

Thank you to Ilknur who is a beautiful, kind and helpful hostess. The guesthouse is a charming renovated seminary build in the late 1900's. It needs some further updating in terms of plumbing and maybe wiring. I stayed 4 nights in 2 different rooms and both had water damage and a smell of damp mold. Breakfast is adequate. Enjoy it in the back garden under the mulberry tree. Weekends are noisy if your room is located near the bar next door. All in all I loved my stay here in the old cobbled lanes of Begama at the foot of the Acropolis. Price is right. Location bursting with charachter and friendly locals including a vast menagerie of cats and dogs.

너무 좁아 트렁크 펼칠 공간도 없다. 화장실에 뜨거운 물 나오는 수전 고장닜고 천정에 물이 샌다. 전체적으로 녹슬고 곰팡이가 난 상태. 조식 식당은 먼지가 가득이고 수저와 컵의 위생상태 불량이다. 조식은 평범한 수준.

Eski bir konak evet ama odamiz bakimsizdi. Banyo temizlenmemisti. Daha onceden Kullanilmis dus jeli ve sampuan banyoda duruyordu . Isletme sahibi ilgiliydi fakat olanaklar yetersizdi. Kahvaltisi standart bir kahvaltiydi. Lezzetliydi.

La casa es muy bonita. Igual en su momento era hotel boutique, pero ahora está muy dejado. Elegí una habitación superior porque leí que la standard era pequeña. El tamaño de la nuestra estaba muy bien, las camas cómodas y sábanas limpias. Pero el baño era un desastre. Te dabas golpes con todo. Y la limpieza dejaba mucho que desear. Estuvimos dos noches. Estabamos solos en la casa. Tengo que decir que el desayuno era copioso, y sabroso. El señor amable. La ubicación arriba del todo. Si vas andando se hace largo y duro. No volvería.

They did an amazing job to convert this old stone house to a boutique hotel. The property was well-maintained and clean. The room and the beds were comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel was right around the corner from Acropolis.

The breakfast was great, my friend said breakfast in turkey is her favorite meal of the day. A huge perk to staying here was the espresso machine. It made the chilly morning perfect. A good cup of coffee is essential!

Property has a lot of potential and can be charming. The room we stayed in needs a proper cleaning. Lots of dust, musty scent and bathroom area floods after shower. There was a wedding party next door (no fault of the property owner) making sleep possible only post festivities. The location is super convenient in the old town and can be a great place to stay.

The room was very nice but the shower area was not. Plumbing leakedxhot water on when in shower and drainage from shower leaked all over floor. Staff were lovely but it looked like they werexstill renovating

Yatak konforlu ve rahattı, otelin yeri tarihi alanlara ulaşımı kolaydı. Odadan görünen manzara güzeldi. Ancak olumsuz yönleri daha fazla, Odalar çok eski ve bakımsız. Giriş katının duvarında sıvalar dökülmüş rutubetten, banyo gideri tıkanmak üzere, su taştı duş alırken. Tavan arasına boşluğuna açılan tahta plaka açıktı ve ürkütücü bir görüntüsü vardı. Çocuklar korktu.

Otelin konumu Bergama seyahati icin ideal. Caljsanlar guler yuzlu. Ama kaldigimiz odada hareket etme imkanimiz yoktu. Oda cok küçüktü. Cift kisilik yatak odayi kapliyordu. Odada buzdolabi ve sac kurutma makinasi olmasi iyi. Ama merkezi klima performansli degildi. Soguk modda 16 derecede oda sogumadi. Cok az bir serinlik hissettik.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The courtyard was also nice, and the property was a unique, converted old building with antiques and a nice view from the upstairs overlooking the town. The location was also walkable to various sites (acropolis, red basicilica, market, etc.) The bed was comfortable, however, the bathroom was poorly designed - very difficult to get in and out of, old pipes with a smell coming from the drain, and shower doors that did not close fully, flooding the bathroom. Other guests were smoking in the neighboring/downstairs rooms, and the smoke smell was filtering into the bedroom at night. The shutter for one of the windows was broken, and the streetlight was shining directly into the bedroom, so it was very bright in the room at night. There were also mosquitos in the room.

Se cercate la perfezione questo non è il vostro posto. Ma se per voi conta l'autenticità fuori dalla rotte turistiche allora fermatevi qui. L'Aristonicus è imperfettamente organizzato e perfettamente poetico. La stanza dove ho dormito era quella singola, l'ho amata anche se è davvero troppo minuscola, quasi lillipuziana, stessa cosa dicasi per il bagno, che sembra quello delle barche a vela tanto è minuscolo. Però ho dormito come un bambino, il silenzio e la quiete di una vecchia casa di pietra con i suoi secoli di storia ti cullano nella notte. E la mattina una magnifica colazione alla turca, servita nel cortile da due simpatiche adorabili signore del posto, completa il quadro di questo hotel dall'atmosfera d'altri tempi. Accanto c'è un ex seminario ortodosso che è stato trasformato anch'esso in albergo dal cui giardino si gode una bellissima vista e che offre servizi di ristorante e caffè. Si chiama Les Pergamon, per chi soggiorna all'Aristonicus può essere molto comodo. Riassumendo: Se tornassi a Pergamo lo sceglierei di nuovo, magari prendendo una camera più grande! Un consiglio al proprietario: andrebbero controllati i rubinetti e gli scarichi e altre cose come queste, insomma andrebbe fatta un po' di manutenzione, sia ordinaria che straordinaria!

We reserved this hotel by looking at the pictures on Expedia. When we checked in we realized that the room we were given was to small, noisy and inconvenient. The pictures on the site are deceiving.

Good location for main sites. Standard Turkish breakfast. The room for a single traveler was very small--my backpack fit in the closet, but the door wouldn't close. I stayed over the weekend, and on both Friday and Saturday night the hotel next door had music blaring until well after midnight. Pretty annoying.

オーナーの奥さんがとても親切で優しいです！！ 娘さんも奥さんも美人です😆😆 ベルガマ遺跡のケーブルカーまでは10分くらいでいけます。 経路がわからず困っていると、帰りのバスターミナルの近くまで車で送ってくれました！ありがとうございました！！ 室内は清潔でとても可愛らしいです♪ 楽しい時間をありがとうございました💗

The photos bear no resemblance to reality, and what's most frustrating is the complete lack of communication. They should learn some English.

Magnificent mansions, great rooms but poorly maintained and horribly managed. Communication with the staff is impossible unless you speak Turquish. First, there is nobody at reception, so we were "attended" by the cleaning person. The shower in our room had serious problems with leaking water all over the place, the floor was flooded. We had no hot water. In the evening, a young boy who spoke a bit of English showed up, and after a few phone calls, a maintenance guy came but did nothing but giving us a broom to swipe off water from the floor. The next morning, a fellow hotel guest told us about a strange device on the bathroom wall that regulated hot water! In spite of all, we stayed for an extra night because we loved the town. That night we found that our razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste had been removed from our room and were never found. We complained to the English-speaking boy, he called the owner, who did not speak any other language than Turquish and NEVER showed up in the hotel. He used a translation app in the mobile phone to tell us nasty and inadmissible words. Past 11p.m. the young boy gave us one-use toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors. The only person who apologized was the poor lady who served breakfast and made the rooms. Our worst hotel experience ever.

very friendly family like atmosphere in a traditional house somehow difficult to find in the small lanes south of the hill with the Pergamon ruins I can highly recommend the place

La chambre, bien que petite, était très fonctionnelle, et surtout très calme. Le lit était très confortable et le personnel très accueillant malgré la barrière de la langue. L'hôtel est situé à quelques minutes à pied du téléphérique pour aller à l'acropole.

Eski Bergama evlerinin bul5nduğu bölgede otantik bir konak . Toplam 6 odası var.Check in sorunsuz,gece sokak arası olduğu için sürekli araç ve motor geçiyor .Bu kadar sıcak olan bir dönemde pencereler açık uyuduk sabaha kadar esti.Kahvaltısı yeterli ,çalışan hanımlar iyi niyetli.
