The hotel is very far 1 hour by taxi from Sauraha where the national Park is in. So, I chose the jeep safari tour from the hotel which didn't take us to the national Park, instead to the buffer zone only. The tour was good but very expensive.

Stayed 3 nights

The resort is well situated for enjoying the countryside and accessing the River and Jungle trips. The resort may be 5 start for Nepal, but I would actually give it a 3.5 on US. The staff are spectacular and provided lots of support when our flights were cancelled for 3 days in a row. Note that you are in the jungle and it was the end of the rainy season, but.... be ready for mold in your rooms and in the room air, in the furnishings. My daughter had asthma attacks non-stop. Rooms would benefit from improved air filtration, dehumidifiers and less upholstered furniture or more frequent washing with high heat drying. Note bring your own washcloths. And as everywhere else in Nepal the towels are harsh due to washing in hard water. But again the staff are absolutely darling and the food is acceptable.

Our group of 7 students and faculty from my college had an incredible stay at Kasara Resort in Chitwan National Park. From airport transfers to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. The resort was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Rooms were comfortable, and the service throughout our stay was excellent—professional, welcoming, and attentive. The food at the on-site restaurant was a highlight. Each meal was fresh and flavorful, and the servers were courteous and professional, enhancing every dining experience. We also enjoyed two game drives, both of which were outstanding. A special thank you to our dedicated naturalist, Sujan. His knowledge of the flora and fauna of Nepal was impressive, and he took time to educate and inspire our entire group. He made the wildlife experience truly memorable. The resort staff even helped us check in and secure boarding passes at the airport—just one more example of their incredible service. Kasara exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chitwan, especially academic or student groups.
