Pool is closed! We picked this hotel for the pool and we weren't notified at booking that it was closed! My son was really looking forward to swimming.

Good basic stay. Breakfast had a wide variety of foods, hot and cold. Upon check in we were told that the pool and hot tub were closed which was disappointing. The lobby and elevators had a very strong chemical smell that both of us noticed. I believe it may have been a cleaning product. It would be nice if more facilities would look into fragrance free products as many of us have chemical sensitivities. The Dove products in the room were also very strong and overwhelming. Overall a good stay for our little getaway to Fargo.

I picked this hotel off the pool and hot tub as well as how the bedrooms looked but my biggest thing was i wanted to spend time in the hottub, well when i got there upon checking in a dbl checked about the hot tub and pool and she said everything was working. Well we got to the hot tub and it was closed by the city!!! I feel i wasted my money i could have stayed someplace else and had the hot tub like i wanted.

Checked in with 2 rooms….3 adults 5 children under the age of 7. The kids’ top priority was the pool. In fact, we checked out the pool before the room. Closed. Went to the front desk and asked how long it would be closed (this was 6 pm). The clerk sheepishly replied,”I’m not sure…it’s been closed for 2 weeks.” No mention was made on Hotels.com nor was it mentioned before we checked in. We went to a different hotel, but getting a refund from Hotels.com was a total pain. No phone number listed, no way to talk to a human. Finally got a phone number, only to be put on hold while they checked out my story. Over an hour of wasted time trying to get a refund for a room I never set foot in. Was eventually told my refund to my credit card would take 7-10 days. We’ll see if it happens.

Best hotel from fargo wrestling trips so far. Fave was the fitness center…plenty of space, windows…loved it.

Door to room was sticking, needed to apply force with shoulder to even get into the room. Furniture had seen better days (drawers opened by itself). Piece of chocolate was found underneath the bed. Website promised daily housekeeping. Some housekeeping was reluctantly provided. Pool was unusable. Water was cloudy/dirty with paint flakes swimming at the surface. Stay was paid in advance, regardless my credit card (left for incidentals) was charged again for the stay. Refund was provided 6 days after the stay. Due to the currency exchange rate leaving me short by $21.35.

Booked this to stay the weekend in Fargo for a concert. Arrived and staff was helpful, upon telling him we booked so that we could also enjoy the hot tub, he laughed and told us the jets were not working. The hotel itself was clean, the pool area was clean, but rusted doors could use replacing. The breakfast was decent. Nice seating area. We were there on a weekend when there were several sports events in town, so several young children running in hallways at all times of the night, rooms were not very soundproof. Overall, it was a good hotel, clean rooms, nice pool area, better if the hot tub had worked. I am picky and I would certainly stay here again.

Great little pool for the kids.

The pool area is in need of a revamp. The paint is peeling and the hot tub was closed all weekend. Disappointing because it’s on of the reasons we stayed there.

Grass was not cut and looked very unkept. Main area flooring was very soiled and needs to be cleaned. Exhaust fan in hotel room bathroom was very soiled and needs to be cleaned. Some moldy/rusty areas in bathroom near shower enclosure. Overall, was not impressed with this facility - my first time staying there. Not likely to return with so many other lodging choices in the area.

Bathrooms not clean and bugs on the floor. Mouse or rat had been chewing on power cord hole on counter in breakfast area behind toaster.

The room was clean except there was mold at the base of the shower door. The cabinet with the TV must have been tilted because the drawers kept opening up on their own. Climate control was great. Breakfast was good.

Hall and elevator needed vacuuming. Room was slightly musty smelling but clean. Shower doors were crooked. Hotel seemed a little run down. Needed new carpeting and some other updates. Room did not have a microwave as shown in amenities. Breakfast area was clean and staff kept replenishing food. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly. Overall it was good

Clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. I try to book this hotel every time I stay in town because it is a great place to stay.

I really thought the hotel was very clean and updated. The bathroom tile was loose by the shower, mold noted on the silicone around the tub. I also noted a large crack on the ceiling and moisture damage on the back or the bathroom door, the bathroom needed repair.

The check in was smooth and the receptionist was very kind. They had an amazing breakfast and entry area. Our bathroom was in poor condition with water damage on the bathroom door and wall. I found a dead bug next to my mattress, carpets were dirty, and we were finding hair and black stuff all over our bed. Despite the negatives, I would certainly stay here again.

Nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was great.

Beds need new mattresses

The pool is tiny, way too many people in one space. But the worst part was we couldn’t sleep! The air conditioning wouldn’t work, 77degrees in our room the whole time!! Mind you in was Dec. we shouldn’t have even needed air conditioning..

I chose this hotel because of the great reviews. With a "9" rating, I was surprised with our stay. Customer service at the front desk was great. At check in, I was asked if I preferred one floor over the other. I asked to be placed in a room where we could potentially see fireworks, she did just that. When we arrived in the room I was surprised how run down the furniture was and the lack of cleanliness in the room. The furniture was beat up, the armchair in there was long over due for a shampooing, the vents were filled with dust, the legs on the fridge were broken, the tv dimmed down after a couple of minutes of use and the tiles in the bathroom we're coming up. I was also surprised that rather then each room having it's own microwave, there was one communal microwave for the whole floor to use (also in much need of cleaning). Breakfast was subpar. The pancake machine was broken on the 1st day. Both mornings the hot foods did not change. Signage on the hot foods would be nice as well as a change in hot items daily. The pool is in much need of maintenance and cleaning. We found multiple used bandaids on the floor, yuck. Also the elevator needs attention as well, carpet can use shampooing and daily cleaning would be nice. I also witnessed the person tending to the breakfast area get snappy when a guest simply mentioned that there were no forks available. Overall, for almost $200 a night, I expected more. Pros: good water pressure, comfy firm bed, location

Trying to get to sleep with the noise around us was tough. We certainly did not get a good night of sleep which is disappointing for the amount of money you pay. Especially when we needed to get up early for a flight. Suggest quiet hours starting at 8pm

Room had loose bathroom floor titles which could lead to fall. Room appears to have had bathroom flooded with water damage on the bottom of the door and loose carpeting outside the bathroom. One of the queen mattresses was past time to be replaced. It’s what I expect from hotels that charge half the cost and not a Holiday Inn Express.

Slow checking by staff personnel, took two people to figure out my reservation. I was tired and just wanted my room. Bed frame laminate coming off the headboard, looked shoddy and not up the a $200/night room.

My family had a five night stay at this location. The hotel was fine, but a few things could have been better. House keeping only showed up one time (the second day) to see if we wanted any service. The breakfast bar oven was broken so there were limited selections of hot food. If you like turkey sausage you were in luck. For some reason, at night time ,the TV in the room had an auto dim feature that made it really hard to see what was on the screen with no way to disable. Very firm beds.

We enjoyed everything besides check in. We were told it was going to be 20 minute to check in. So we left and came back. Then again we were told it was going to be another 30 minutes. After they just checked in a family.

This was such a disappointing experience. The gentleman who checked me in when I arrived was cold, and generally unhelpful. The hallways were noisy with kids well past 11pm. The room was very noisy. Both the walls and ceilings were paper thin. I got around 4 hours of sleep as I could clearly hear whenever anyone rustled in the bed above my room, and the footsteps were extremely loud, even with earplugs in. Breakfast was very average, with many items missing at 8:30am (including coffee) while the staff were visibly standing around talking in the back room. This was not a cheap hotel, and I would not recommend.

The staff when we checked in were really friendly and accommodating. When we left the hotel had an issue with hot water tanks so manager called to invite us back at a reduced fee. Although we didn’t use it we were pleased they made some effort to appease us. It was a great breakfast with high quality yogurts waffles and coffee we enjoyed

No one ever at front desk and when there was they didn’t know how to do their job! Took forever to check in! Mold in shower. Noisy until about 2 am!

Conveniently located just off of I-90, walking distance to a local mall where they have a plenty of dining options. The receptionist was pleasant and found me a room near where I parked my car as requested. The tv in the room must have been on management controlled timer (or to enforce quiet hours?) - it didn’t work/turn on until 6:00 am sharp. The vent fan in the bathroom is tied into the light switch a motion sensor - it would stay on for a while, be aware if you are a light sleeper or don’t want this feature. Overall, it was a good stay.

Great location and everything was clean. Breakfast was great, more than the basic hotel breakfast. We stayed on a Wednesday night but still saw quite a few people but didn’t notice extra noise from our room

Everything was great. Check in was fast, convenient parking, front end staff was great (Eva I believe her name was). Breakfast was good. Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean, just wish they had hard wood floors in room.

Good location, perfectly respectable for a short stay (recommend ear plugs in busy season as all new IHGs have thin walls). Call ahead to ensure pool is operational, it was not for my 24h stay with no warning. Lighting in rooms and common area was dark and uninviting - especially in the breakfast area recommend a bit more inviting set up. Breakfast items limited if you have any restrictions (no food for dairy-free or gluten free or vegetarian/vegan)

This clean, quiet and friendly facility has multiple great qualities. The bed was wonderful and the curtains can be shut to completely block out light. The breakfast was incredible!

I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the pool was warm as well as the pool area being clean as well. The staff was friendly. The only complaint I have was breakfast. Orange juice was completely watered down. There was absolutely no place to throw our garbage away as they were over flowing and guests had to stack garbage on top. The pancake machine was needing a new bag and never got refilled. The milk as well never got restocked.

Check-in was quick, staff was pleasant Riom was clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast choices were good as was the coffee. Did not need more.
