Great value, has even a small kitchen (additionally to the fridge/microwave/coffee maker) and is close to Olympic National Park! I wasn't thrilled about the very soft bed but I guess some people enjoy a soft matress.

This property is managed by Quality Inn and offers the same service as good as quality Inn, such as good breakfast, free unlimited coffee and laundromat usage. We stayed for 4 nights and visited many trails-waterfalls in Olympic NP. The trails were muddy because of rain, we washed our dirty clothes every day, the free unlimited use of laundry was a big convenience.

The bed was comfortable, sheets nice. The room is tiny and the bathroom is circa 1950’s. It was one of the more budget rooms available, so it was on the small side. The parking is in front of the room,so you don’t have to transport your bags far. Walking distance from the little downtown.

Great room, affordable price, lots of parking, walkable distance to downtown, restaurants and ferry. Breakfast was a great but they were out of lots of food half our stay. Older building, ants, room cleaning after third night, homeless person was hanging around our door in the evening.

I really liked that this property is one story, no upstairs neighbors. It is nicely located one block from a grocery store and only a couple blocks from the highway but didn't have high traffic noise. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. Best of all, the property is dog friendly and very walkable.

Dirty, overrated and overpriced. I cannot believe that people give positive reviews to this place! For $275, we got a grossly dirty room with lots of hair in a bathroom sink, the mugs and plates were equally disgusting. Towels looked clean but we did not use them anyway. We slept in our clothes because we were too tired to look for another place for the night. Breakfast in a hotel across the street was the only plus from the entire stay. Do not stay there.

The room was incredibly small, the neighborhood had homeless people hanging around and we didn’t feel safe. The bathroom hasn’t been updated since it was built - probably in the 60’s and the shower appeared to be moldy. Breakfast was provided at the hotel across the street and had plenty of options. We would not stay here again.

The room smelled like stale urine. I purchased clorox wipes and used them on the floor, which revealed that they likely has not been cleaned for weeks, and there was no toilet paper.

Room is small but okay. Room didn’t smell good. When we arrived, the room door, which opens to the parking lot, was wide open. The room was partially cleaned. No one in sight. Front desk had nothing to say except they can’t get enough staff.

While staff was very kind and helpful, our biggest detractor was the cleanliness of the room, more specifically the bathroom. Visible mold in the shower area and starting to develop on the ceiling as well.

Good enough breakfast selection & very friendly people. The room a bed was comfortable, but spread was visibly dirty, the bathroom was outdated, but ok, but the amount of mold/mildew in the shower was gross.

Staff helpful and welcoming. Very retro, but everything worked. Shower was great if you are 5\'6", but hard to use if you are 6\'1. Dogs barking outside, but ear plugs helped. Breakfast good variety. 6am to 10. No A/C but we didn\'t need it. Check in was easy and fast even at 9pm.

Breakfast was good. Decor was dated. First time I've seen a pink toliet and a pink and aqua sink. Probably from the Mamie Esinehower era. Very retro vibe. No air conditioner but a circulating standing fan was provided. Close to the ferry and wharf.

The property sits right above downtown and there are beautiful views of the port and sound. Make sure you ask for a room with a view and A/C. One thing very unique about this property is it's views. Most of the property was designed with a view of the water. They do have a block of rooms with no view and no A/C. We had no view.

Uptown Inn is now actually part of Quality Inn across the street where there is the typical breakfast buffet. Uptown is an older motel style facility. It was clean and comfortable, so it's fine for a night or two. You can leave your car at the inn and walk to the ferry terminal to make a day trip to Victoria, as we did. I never could get the wifi to work reliably. We were there during a warm period, and the room has no air conditioning. A room fan is supplied.

Arrival was confusing -- checkin is actually across the street at the Quality Inn. But once we figured that out, everything was great. They upgraded us to a King room at the Quality Inn so I can't actually speak to the Uptown Inn, but great experience overall after checkin.

It was clean. Bed and bathroom linens were good and the bed was comfortable. But in all the place is sort of a dump. A very uncomfortable space; really old fixtures, plumbing. Has been painted recently so looked ok. Had a simple request of the staff, and it took 4 requests and 3 days to get it. I don't think they are very well trained. The breakfast is free but sorta dreadful. As I said, a nice bed, but that's it. And it wasn't cheap. No money has been put into this property in decades.

Yes you have to check in across the street at the Quality Inn. I did not know that but the staff were amazing. My 3 night stay at the Uptown Inn was just what I needed. The room itself was very clean and cozy. The bathroom being outdated was spotless and even with the clock tower going off every hour I didn’t even notice until I opened up the windows. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Anytime I needed anything the staff were extremely helpful.

This property is built on a hill overlooking the downtown area. You can walk downtown in 5 minutes (requires clambering down a steep flights of stairs). This is an older property, but well-maintained. Service is friendly and good. Good value for the money.

I found my stay at Uptown Inn to be great. Beds were soft, bathroom was an adorable retro light green and the shower pressure was perfect, the location was super convenient and the front desk was friendly. No issues.

This is a decent hotel with close proximity to Olympic National Park. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated (bathrooms in particular) but they were clean which matters the most to me and the bed was comfortable. The area is a bit sketchy with some homeless nearby but overall felt safe. I was pleasantly surprised with breakfast. They offered make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, muffins, bagels, bread, yogurt, cereal/oatmeal, and fruit. Not the most luxurious hotel, but it does the job and it’s clean.

This is a very nice hotel in Port Angeles. It's super close to the Black Ball Ferry, and makes an easy over night stay before or after taking the ferry. The room was small, but clean and efficent. We could walk downtown from there and get to restaurants/coffee shops easily. It was very affordable.

This is a very nice hotel in Port Angeles. It's super close to the Black Ball Ferry, and makes an easy over night stay before or after taking the ferry. The room was small, but clean and efficent. We could walk downtown from there and get to restaurants/coffee shops easily. It was very affordable.

No air conditioning. Even though temp was mild outside, we couldn't cool down the room lower than 78 even with a fan and window open for a few hours. Didn't feel safe to keep window to parking lot open all night. Good breakfast.

It was clean. Bed and bathroom linens were good and the bed was comfortable. But in all the place is sort of a dump. A very uncomfortable space; really old fixtures, plumbing. Has been painted recently so looked ok. Had a simple request of the staff, and it took 4 requests and 3 days to get it. I don't think they are very well trained. The breakfast is free but sorta dreadful. As I said, a nice bed, but that's it. And it wasn't cheap. No money has been put into this property in decades.

This is a decent hotel with close proximity to Olympic National Park. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated (bathrooms in particular) but they were clean which matters the most to me and the bed was comfortable. The area is a bit sketchy with some homeless nearby but overall felt safe. I was pleasantly surprised with breakfast. They offered make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, muffins, bagels, bread, yogurt, cereal/oatmeal, and fruit. Not the most luxurious hotel, but it does the job and it’s clean.

Uptown Inn is now actually part of Quality Inn across the street where there is the typical breakfast buffet. Uptown is an older motel style facility. It was clean and comfortable, so it's fine for a night or two. You can leave your car at the inn and walk to the ferry terminal to make a day trip to Victoria, as we did. I never could get the wifi to work reliably. We were there during a warm period, and the room has no air conditioning. A room fan is supplied.

So close to the downtown shopping area, Bella Italia (twilight fans) and the harbor. Staff were super nice and welcoming. Great breakfast. Bathroom on the older side with a little bit of a tricky shower to get the perfect temperature- but very clean and a very comfortable bed! I slept great. Thanks for being lovely hosts!!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but 2 of the 3 pillows we had were flat as pancakes and not comfortable. Why not 4 pillows for 2 people? There wasn't air conditioning which we knew about and figured we wouldn't need it mid-Sept. But we couldn't control the thermostat and the heat was on, which we did not need. By the next morning the thermostat read 82 degrees. A bit warm! Fortunately there was a portable fan we could use. The room itself is updated but the bathroom is not. Not a big deal but be prepared for a LOW toilet. The tile is retro, kind of cool. The sink stopper didn't work so water drained slowly. We always appreciate a mini refrigerator but wish there was a freezer included. We travel with freezer packs for a cooler and had no way to keep them frozen. Wish motel/hotel descriptions included whether or not their mini-frig included a freezer. Overall the experience wasn't too bad. It was for one night, was pet friendly and walkable to shops, restaurants and the wharf.

Our stay at this motel was very comfortable. Our room had lots of space. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast offered lots of options and ready early. The coffeepot is always on which was a nice amenity.

Was excited to stay here after seeing decent reviews during our trip to olympic national park. When we got to our room, the door had spray painted patches like they tried to cover up something (poorly), but all other doors were painted nicely and clean, so it gave us a weird feeling to begin with. The room was very dirty, shower was completely covered in mold, the floor had a layer of dirt, there was dust everywhere, the bed/pillows looked stained and unkept, the walls had handprints, dents, and patches everywhere. . We asked the front desk if there were any other rooms available or any accommodations they could make and they just said “no” and the rooms are the way they are. They did not even offer to clean the room again, instead told us to look for another hotel to stay in and seemed to get a kick at the fact that all other hotels in town were booked or completely overpriced. We ended up staying at a hotel in the next town over that was very satisfactory. Overall poor experience with the staff and the rooms. Would definitely not recommend staying here.
