The property is like staying in a museum with fabulous artwork and attention to detail. This is our fourth time staying here. My only complaint has to do with the EV charging infrastructure. A hotel of this caliber should offer more than two EV chargers and should not require a guest to use valet services to access the chargers.

Everywhere you look is carefully designed to give a feel that you have escaped to Tuscany. Cello the onsite restaurant is delicious with great drink choices. We had an amazing time. Rooms are large and roomy. It was great to relax in the pool and take many pictures in the resort.

The hotel offers great value for the price. I found plenty of comfort and amenities that exceeded my expectations. The jacuzzi was a highlight — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The restaurant also deserves praise: good variety, tasty dishes, and attentive service. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I recommend it and would definitely come back.

Very clean. Enjoyed the walking path around hotel. The alpacas were a hit. Enjoyed our massages. . Breakfast is about $40 pp and tasty. Excellent service throughout. The only issue we have is that the pool is crowded and full of kids and we could not get a lounge chair.

Great clean room and good amenities. Restaurant was great, gym was ok, spa was awesome and yoga classes at the abbey were very good. Tasting room was very good too and enjoyed walking thru the vineyards. Not cheap, but highly recommended.

I would have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life besides the fact that it’s artistic masterpiece. The paintings and sculptures scattered around the building amazing and make sure you spend time looking at the history of the family with photographs along the wall on the left side of the building. It was so comfortable, quite safe, clean with view of the vineyards behind. The pool, dining, fireplaces and fire pit. What can go wrong highly recommend

The hotel’s overall aesthetic is beautiful and inviting, but there are some areas for improvement. When we arrived, there was no bellman available, so we handled our own luggage cart. Our room, while clean, felt a bit dated and had a noticeable musty smell upon entry. We also requested a 30-minute late checkout, but unfortunately, it couldn’t be accommodated. With some updates to the rooms and a bit more service support, this property could truly match its stunning appearance.

Allegretto is such a fun vineyard resort for families! The collection of artwork/historical photographs is incredible. Staff was friendly and the general vibe is very welcoming and cozy. The only thing that's not ideal for me personally is the carpeting in the rooms/hallways - they are a bit worn. 3 out of the 5 people of my family are allergic to dust mite, dust, and mold and we all felt quite sniffly when we are inside the room.

Hotel is beautiful with spacious grounds and a lovely luxurious interior. Room had a nice view of the gardens and was clean. A bit worn - a piece of baseboard fell off sometime during the night and the carpet could do with a cleaning. Still, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant where the staff were very courteous and eager to please. We both had pasta dishes which were extremely heavy with thick cream sauces, so more like a 1980s American version of Italian food, not actually Italian. The menu could do with an update. Still, we appreciated the staff’s pleasant hospitality and the lovely decor and grounds.

The rooms were spacious and very well appointed. The property's design was amazing and very well thought out. We enjoyed the artwork, the Garden Tour, and wine tasting. We had a Juliet balcony and were able to open the doors to a beautiful landscape. In the early morning I opened the doors to watch the hot air balloons land after sunrise tour. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely come back!!

Beautiful property. Great friendly staff. Sadly, not quiet at all. We were by a staff area so we heard doors closing all night. There was also loud music coming from the floor below. Not very restful especially with young children with us.

This is our second time here. We paid for an upgrade as they didn't have rooms with a tub unless you upgraded to a suite. The suite was nice, comfortable, quiet. The area outside was beautifully decorated. Staff were helpful.

Unfortunately our "courtyard view" for which we paid a premium, was a tile roof and tree which blocked the view. No fix at the front desk. Also two restaurant disappointments. Other than that, a great place. Will return.

I don’t care how nice your property is, if the service is horrible it ruins the experience. Beautiful property, but if you plan on eating you should go off property. Stayed there in a Tuesday and I called for room service after 7:30, excited to place an order after a long day and I was told the wait would be an 1 hr and 4 minutes. I asked if it would be faster if I go into the restaurant, I did and there wait was 45 minutes. The host said the bar was first come first serve, I asked if there was any room at the bar, and his response was they don’t keep track of the bar seating in a time that indicated that he couldn’t be bothered. Then I went to the front desk to see if anything could be done, I was told by Scott I could always order Uber Eats, because when you come to a 4 star hotel you want to order in fast food. He also had a bit more attitude than necessary. I don’t care how nice your property is, if the service is horrible it ruins the experience. Beautiful property, but if you plan on eating you should go off property. Stayed there in a Tuesday and I called for room service after 7:30, excited to place an order after a long day and I was told the wait would be an 1 hr and 4 minutes. I asked if it would be faster if I go into the restaurant, I did and there wait was 45 minutes. The host said the bar was first come first serve, I asked if there was any room at the bar, and his response was they don’t keep track of the bar seating in a time that indicated that he couldn’t be bothered. Then I went to the front desk to see if anything could be done, I was told by Scott I could always order Uber Eats, because when you come to a 4 star hotel you want to order in fast food. He also had a bit more attitude than necessary. Our car was broken into and no one seemed to take it serious with an incident report or want to exam lot ctv to see who it might have been and how they got in. Also, front desk staff needs training on greeting and check-out as no one asked me how my stay was and the first impression at check-in was stale and unremarkable. This was my 3rd time here and about the worst for staff that cares and is motivated. I used to work in hospitality so know a thing or two about simple intake and departures for guests who are paying a premium for an alleged VIP hotel .This time they are just average.

My experience here was above and beyond. More than all else, the staff here deserves an award. Everyone was friendly--not in a sugary, obsequious way that makes me uncomfortable--but in the easy, breezy way of Californians that helps me feel seen as a human and not just a customer. I had a lovely conversation with Rich, the manager, and was struck by the everyday kindness of even exchanging pleasantries. It all brought a homey touch to the resort. I loved my room and roaming the beautiful property--particularly, all the intentionally designed quiet places to think. Not to mention, feeding the emus and goats. For me, this impromptu solo trip was very soul healing and I believe that this was in big part because of this place. So, thank you, Allegretto.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night. Check-in was excellent — the young man at the front desk was very kind and helped me with all my questions, which I really appreciated. As a nice touch, the hotel left us a complimentary 375ml bottle of wine in the room to celebrate our wedding anniversary trip through California. That was a thoughtful gesture — thank you. After a short rest, we went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. At first, we were told there were no available tables and were directed to the back yard of the hotel — but there was no actual restaurant or bar there. Thankfully, a table was eventually found for us. However, our waitress was quite strange. When she first approached us, she didn’t seem friendly and acted almost annoyed, as if blaming us for how long we had been waiting. We ordered two dishes — the first one arrived quickly, but we waited about an hour for the second. The waitress said she thought we needed to finish the first dish before serving the second, but it felt like she simply forgot. By the time it arrived, we no longer wanted it. Also asked for more towels and they were never delivered to our room. Also surprising was that to speak with hotel staff required a 6 to 7 minute hold on 2 separate occasions. The grounds and artwork are amazing but the customer service was unimpressive given the amount we were charged per night. Would definitely stay elsewhere in the future.

The property is beautiful & clean. I would of given 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that our room wasn't ready for 1.5 hours after check in time. We'd been driving for 5 hours and reall just wanted to check in and get to the pool. They gave us our pool keys and told us they would store our luggage. They also gave us a 75.00 credit to their restaurant. We were told it would only be abot 20-30 minutes, so we were fine with that. They said they would text us when our room was ready. We gave our bags to the bell man ( tipping 10.00) we would not of needed a bell person had our room been ready, so that 75.00 credit is now 65.00 We head to the pool and there are only about 30 lounge chairs for the entire pool. They are all full. There are however cabanas, only one is taken. Its 4:30 at this point so I went back to the front desk to check on our room. Still not ready, i ask if we can sit in a cabana while we wait, since there is no availability at the pool lounges. No, only if i pay 150.00, but i can put the credit towards that if id like..lol No thank you, we'll just sit in the lobby. At 5:20 i go inquire again as its now almost 1.5 hours after check in. Im told just a few more minutes. Ten more pass & the counter person comes back from the office with the manager to say its finall ready. The manager tells me he got us a great room with a patio and 2 queen beds ( thats what i had booked) like he upgraded us. The dinner at their restaurant was just sad, the food was sub par.

What a beautiful hotel! We booked a room here as we were going to Sensorio (which is right down the road btw). Was not expecting such lovely, charming hotel. The service was excellent, the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and we felt like we were in a chateau in Europe. Had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning which was quite delicious! We’ll definitely be coming back to spend more time enjoying this beautiful place!

We chose the Allegretto for a mid-week getaway, and it was perfect from start to finish. It served as a great base for beer and wine tasting and hiking, but also has plenty to do if you want to relax at the hotel: swimming, wine tasting, a great restaurant, or drinks by the firepit under the stars. All of the staff were so kind and helpful; I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Italian vineyard hotel with tasting room and restaurant. The hotel itself is lovely, rooms are spacious. The gardens are well maintained and interesting. Service overall is great. And it’s a good location, close enough to downtown restaurants and easy access to nearby wineries. The one downside to this property is the restaurant - Nice bar, but the restaurant food was not good. Not good at all. Go downtown 10 minutes for a good meal.

The hotel offers great value for the price. I found plenty of comfort and amenities that exceeded my expectations. The jacuzzi was a highlight — perfect for relaxing after a long day. We very much enjoyed the hotel and our stay. We had a group of 13 with 6 rooms. Highly recommend. The only downside is the restaurant - food for dinner was pretty bad! breakfast was great. and lunch so so.

Hotel is beautiful with spacious grounds and a lovely luxurious interior. Room had a nice view of the gardens and was clean. A bit worn - a piece of baseboard fell off sometime during the night and the carpet could do with a cleaning. Still, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant where the staff were very courteous and eager to please. We both had pasta dishes which were extremely heavy with thick cream sauces, so more like a 1980s American version of Italian food, not actually Italian. The menu could do with an update. Still, we appreciated the staff’s pleasant hospitality and the lovely decor and grounds.

Unfortunately our "courtyard view" for which we paid a premium, was a tile roof and tree which blocked the view. No fix at the front desk. Also two restaurant disappointments. Other than that, a great place. Will return.

What a gem. Beautiful, peaceful, inviting, serene, a few words to describe the hotel. BUT extremely family friendly. Saw a ton of kids during our visit. Stayed a few nights and booked a room with an outside patio. Fortunate enough to get a room in the back of the property, by the vineyard with the swing just outside. The days were super hot but the nights cooled down to an inviting temperature. Found myself on the swing every night to relax. You can also climb to the top of the vineyard in the back and catch an amazing sunset. An added bonus, coffee available every morning in the lobby.
