You can swim off the beach with a snorkel mask and find one of the best reefs including sea turtles, and if you wake up early before the tour groups or are lucky black tip reef sharks too. Area was clean, and pools were gorgeous. Good breakfast but poor layout creating a few traffic jams. Also the amount of stairs or hills you have to walk is too much for some, also expect taxi to charge 400B one way

Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhed ud til Shark Bay, med privat strand og flere børnevenlige pools. Det er oplagt til børnefamilier, da det ligger i behørig afstand fra det meget hektiske Sairee Beach. Vi bookede hotellet af to omgange, først med Ocean Balcony værelser og sidenhen med Beach Balcony. Der er enorm stor forskel på de to værelsestyper. Ocean Balcony fremstår slidt og mørkt. Der var heller ikke noget som helst vandtryk i bruserne. Beach Balcony fremstår lys og i meget bedre stand, og med direkte udsigt til havet. Dog ligner værelset på billedet ikke nogle af de værelser, som vi havde. Morgenmaden var fin. Det var en buffet med både thai og vestlige retter. Der var relativ stor forskel på servicen hos personalet. Nogle var virkelig rare, omhyggelige og gæstfrie, særligt var der en af butlerne (husker desværre ikke hans navn). Andre var arrogante, og kunne knapt kigge på os, når de svarede. Besøger vi Koh Tao igen, kunne vi sagtens finde på at vende tilbage. Man får virkelig god value for money her.

The best hotel i have stayed at for this price range! The staff is so nice, everyone was so sweet and helpful. The hotel itself is located on one of the best beach of the island and they have the entire beach so it’s not too crowded. Great hot water shower with good pressure. Free yoga, great breakfast, free shuttles to the villages. We loved our stay!!!!

Överlag ett prisvärt och fint hotell. När vi utforskat ön har det inte funnits något ställe som överträffat denna resort även om den inte är en fullpoängare. Frukostbuffén som ingår är bra och de som arbetar i receptionen är väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Rummet vi hade var fräscht och möter förväntningarna utifrån bilder etc. Det bästa är poolområdet i anslutning till stranden. Det enda som saknas är solstolar på stranden. Det mest negativa för detta resort är att restaurangerna varken har någon bra mat eller service. De tog oss 45 min från beställningen till att vi fick vår mat. De kommer inte ut med menyer eller frågar om man är nöjd. Det som också drar ner betyget är att Wi-Fi inte fungerade på vårt rum utan enbart om man var nära receptionen/resturangerna. Detta hotell ligger ganska avlägset så för att kunna äta på andra ställen behöver du hyra moppe för att enklast ta dig runt.

Stunning beach, snorkelling, pools!!! A lovely resort. Must rent a motorbike to get around the island but the front desk helped us with this, 300 baht/day. Convenient free transfers to Sairee and back- helpful for checking in and leaving.

Fantastisk lille oase med virkelig smuk strand. Vi boede de første 3 nætter på nabohotellet som er bungalows. Restaurant området er SUPER lækkert og morgenmaden virkelig god hvor alt står i aircondition. Haven med den store pool er også ret unik. Kommer gerne igen.

This place is amazing and on a beautiful beach in a quiet area of the island. They offer free paddle boards and kayaks, and can assist in snorkeling tours. The restaurant is expensive comparing to other options but the food is great and there are other options in the near surroundings if you want to spend less. I recommend renting a scooter right up the hill from the resort about ten minutes walking if you want more flexibility on transportation. Overall a great place and very nice and accommodating staff. They have shuttles that can take you to and from the ferry as well which is nice. Highly recommend!

Located outside the town in a large green area, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, but its hilly location makes transport necessary. However, it’s unfortunate that the beach and surrounding areas are open to non-hotel guests, limiting the space available for those staying at the hotel. There are some drawbacks. The balconies and staircases lack child safety features, and some children’s chairs had mold. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible, and the restaurant is pricier than other local options. Wi-Fi was very poor, and housekeeping was inconsistent, failing to change bed linens until requested. Storage space in the room was limited, and there were no smaller towels. Non-hotel guests also took up sunbeds. The hotel has many stairs, which makes it difficult for those with strollers. Die Anlage liegt im Süden etwas außerhalb von der Stadt entfernt. Mit einem Roller oder den angebotenen Transfers vom Hotel ist man in wenigen Minuten mitten im Zentrum. Zur Lage des Hotels, es ist ein kleines Paradies mit einem privaten und wunderbaren Strand. Das Wasser hier ist sehr sauber und hat eine wunderbare Farbe. Schwimmen und Schnorcheln bereitet hier einfach nur Freude. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit, hat man mal Fragen oder sonstige Sorgen wird einem sofort geholfen. Das hauseigene Restaurant ist auch empfehlenswert, wobei man sagen muss, dass die Preise dort etwas über dem normal Preis auf der Insel liegen und man sich auch ruhig mal trauen sollte außerhalb zu Speisen. Kommen wir zu den Zimmern, zumindest zu dem welches mir gegeben wurde. Leider war direkt vor dem Balkon eine Baustelle, sie ist jetzt nicht sonderlich lästig gewesen, aber hat dennoch den Ausblick etwas gestört. Vermutlich wird einfach gerade für die Hauptsaison alles zurecht gemacht. Die Sauberkeit war nicht überragend, an der ein oder anderen Stelle kann man sicherlich noch einiges verbessern, z.B: die Klimaanlage mal reinigen und auch mal hinter das ein oder andere Eck schauen und dort saubermachen. Dennoch konnte ich die Zeit dort genießen und würde auch wiederkommen. Zum Abschluss lässt sich noch sagen, dass das Hotel sehr Kinderfreundlich ist und es schön war mal zu sehen, dass das Hotel auch entsprechend dafür ausgestattet ist. Ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt.

While our room wasn't dirty, it didn't meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness. Additionally, the limited provision of towels for the pool, while understandable for environmental reasons, should be consistently addressed throughout the guest experience. It's disheartening to note that the same issues mentioned in previous reviews still persist. While the hotel has the potential to be a true gem, it's being overshadowed by neglect. Taking prompt action to address these maintenance and cleanliness issues could transform it into a truly exceptional destination once again. Unfortunately, based on our experience and conversations with others, it's unlikely that we'll return. Rooms were ready for a good clean and redecoration. I think you should say that there are no lifts and many stairs to some rooms. Also the 11pm power outage makes it dangerous on the steps as it is so dark. Why not have some solar lights?

Awful hotel, with an even awful manager. Rooms disgusting, not as advertised. Left after 2 days as couldn’t stay there the full 4. Leaking Aircon Dust in the room Mould everywhere Panels falling off the wall Dirty bed sheets Cracks and marks on the wall Dirty bathroom Gaps in the balcony door allowing bugs in Over priced drinks that are poor Awful breakfast choice Didn’t have sea view as paid for, the list is endless. This is by far not a 4* hotel, more like 2*. Ruined my time in Koh Tao, would not recommend to friends or family and will tell everyone to avoid avoid avoid.

Room condition and cleanliness was probably the worst we have experienced in Thailand. Room is tiny and not like the photos. Restaurant and drink prices are very high. Lots of rubbish in the sea. Wouldn’t recommend.

Located outside the town in a large green area, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, but its hilly location makes transport necessary. The interior is modern and pleasant, and the hotel has spacious grounds with both a large pool and a beach club. The beach is beautiful, and the spa is excellent. However, it’s unfortunate that the beach and surrounding areas are open to non-hotel guests, limiting the space available for those staying at the hotel. There are some drawbacks. The balconies and staircases lack child safety features, and some children’s chairs had mold. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible, and the restaurant is pricier than other local options. Wi-Fi was very poor, and housekeeping was inconsistent, failing to change bed linens until requested. Storage space in the room was limited, and there were no smaller towels. Non-hotel guests also took up sunbeds. The hotel has many stairs, which makes it difficult for those with strollers. The hotel offers free transfer from the pier, but there was poor communication about this service. The shuttle to town ends early, limiting evening trips, though taxis are available. Despite these issues, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. Overall, the hotel offers a relaxing stay with a luxurious feel, making it a good option for families. Die Anlage liegt im Süden etwas außerhalb von der Stadt entfernt. Mit einem Roller oder den angebotenen Transfers vom Hotel ist man in wenigen Minuten mitten im Zentrum. Zur Lage des Hotels, es ist ein kleines Paradies mit einem privaten und wunderbaren Strand. Das Wasser hier ist sehr sauber und hat eine wunderbare Farbe. Schwimmen und Schnorcheln bereitet hier einfach nur Freude. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit, hat man mal Fragen oder sonstige Sorgen wird einem sofort geholfen. Das hauseigene Restaurant ist auch empfehlenswert, wobei man sagen muss, dass die Preise dort etwas über dem normal Preis auf der Insel liegen und man sich auch ruhig mal trauen sollte außerhalb zu Speisen. Kommen wir zu den Zimmern, zumindest zu dem welches mir gegeben wurde. Leider war direkt vor dem Balkon eine Baustelle, sie ist jetzt nicht sonderlich lästig gewesen, aber hat dennoch den Ausblick etwas gestört. Vermutlich wird einfach gerade für die Hauptsaison alles zurecht gemacht. Die Sauberkeit war nicht überragend, an der ein oder anderen Stelle kann man sicherlich noch einiges verbessern, z.B: die Klimaanlage mal reinigen und auch mal hinter das ein oder andere Eck schauen und dort saubermachen. Dennoch konnte ich die Zeit dort genießen und würde auch wiederkommen. Zum Abschluss lässt sich noch sagen, dass das Hotel sehr Kinderfreundlich ist und es schön war mal zu sehen, dass das Hotel auch entsprechend dafür ausgestattet ist. Ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt.

Området var fint. Flot udsigt, men desværre plastik på stranden og cigaretskod i græsplænerne. Kun en taxatur væk fra by/butikker. Hytten var slidt. Bruseren hang løst ud af vægen og blev kun nødtørftigt repareret efter vores henvendelse. Morgen Mads buffet var for så vidt fin, men der var kun en kaffemaskine, som var alt for langsom til antallet af gæster. Så hvis man kunne ikke få varme æg, hvis man ville have varm kaffe og omvendt. Der burde klart være en maskine mere.

Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhed ud til Shark Bay, med privat strand og flere børnevenlige pools. Det er oplagt til børnefamilier, da det ligger i behørig afstand fra det meget hektiske Sairee Beach. Vi bookede hotellet af to omgange, først med Ocean Balcony værelser og sidenhen med Beach Balcony. Der er enorm stor forskel på de to værelsestyper. Ocean Balcony fremstår slidt og mørkt. Der var heller ikke noget som helst vandtryk i bruserne. Beach Balcony fremstår lys og i meget bedre stand, og med direkte udsigt til havet. Dog ligner værelset på billedet ikke nogle af de værelser, som vi havde. Morgenmaden var fin. Det var en buffet med både thai og vestlige retter. Der var relativ stor forskel på servicen hos personalet. Nogle var virkelig rare, omhyggelige og gæstfrie, særligt var der en af butlerne (husker desværre ikke hans navn). Andre var arrogante, og kunne knapt kigge på os, når de svarede. Besøger vi Koh Tao igen, kunne vi sagtens finde på at vende tilbage. Man får virkelig god value for money her.

The best hotel i have stayed at for this price range! The staff is so nice, everyone was so sweet and helpful. The hotel itself is located on one of the best beach of the island and they have the entire beach so it’s not too crowded. Great hot water shower with good pressure. Free yoga, great breakfast, free shuttles to the villages. We loved our stay!!!!

Överlag ett prisvärt och fint hotell. När vi utforskat ön har det inte funnits något ställe som överträffat denna resort även om den inte är en fullpoängare. Frukostbuffén som ingår är bra och de som arbetar i receptionen är väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Rummet vi hade var fräscht och möter förväntningarna utifrån bilder etc. Det bästa är poolområdet i anslutning till stranden. Det enda som saknas är solstolar på stranden. Det mest negativa för detta resort är att restaurangerna varken har någon bra mat eller service. De tog oss 45 min från beställningen till att vi fick vår mat. De kommer inte ut med menyer eller frågar om man är nöjd. Det som också drar ner betyget är att Wi-Fi inte fungerade på vårt rum utan enbart om man var nära receptionen/resturangerna. Detta hotell ligger ganska avlägset så för att kunna äta på andra ställen behöver du hyra moppe för att enklast ta dig runt.

Nice resort, but could have been great if they changed the room specifications to Ocan view, partial Ocean view etc. Beds was hard, view from building with rooms with numbers 7.. are not ocean view, hardly partial ocean view. Be specific when you book ocean view that you don’t want to stay in that building. Beach and pool was nice.

The hotel is located far from the center and labels itself as a high class hotel, in fact the hotel has a poor level of maintenance both in the rooms and in the public areas. Poor breakfast with almost no vegetables and no cheese. I took a luxury suite at a high price and got a room with poor air conditioning, a door that doesn't open easily, there is no elevator and the stairs on it are not fixed at varying heights and I fell off them because of that

Stunning beach, snorkelling, pools!!! A lovely resort. Must rent a motorbike to get around the island but the front desk helped us with this, 300 baht/day. Convenient free transfers to Sairee and back- helpful for checking in and leaving.

Hotel is located on a beach directly with an amazing view and snorkeling area. We saw a turtle there ❤️❤️ hotel provides transfer to and from the fairy,which is super convenient. I suppose it used to be a luxury resort before,now rooms a bit tired and need renovation, but still good. Food delicious and stuff is amazing and will help you always. Thank you ❤️
Hotel is located on a beach directly with an amazing view and snorkeling area. We saw a turtle there ❤️❤️ hotel provides transfer to and from the fairy,which is super convenient. I suppose it used to be a luxury resort before,now rooms a bit tired and need renovation, but still good. Food delicious and stuff is amazing and will help you always. Thank you ❤️

You can swim off the beach with a snorkel mask and find one of the best reefs including sea turtles, and if you wake up early before the tour groups or are lucky black tip reef sharks too. Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhed ud til Shark Bay, med privat strand og flere børnevenlige pools. Det er oplagt til børnefamilier, da det ligger i behørig afstand fra det meget hektiske Sairee Beach. Vi bookede hotellet af to omgange, først med Ocean Balcony værelser og sidenhen med Beach Balcony. Der er enorm stor forskel på de to værelsestyper. Ocean Balcony fremstår slidt og mørkt. Der var heller ikke noget som helst vandtryk i bruserne. Beach Balcony fremstår lys og i meget bedre stand, og med direkte udsigt til havet. Dog ligner værelset på billedet ikke nogle af de værelser, som vi havde. Morgenmaden var fin. Det var en buffet med både thai og vestlige retter. Der var relativ stor forskel på servicen hos personalet. Nogle var virkelig rare, omhyggelige og gæstfrie, særligt var der en af butlerne (husker desværre ikke hans navn). Andre var arrogante, og kunne knapt kigge på os, når de svarede. Besøger vi Koh Tao igen, kunne vi sagtens finde på at vende tilbage. Man får virkelig god value for money her.

Stunning beach, snorkelling, pools!!! A lovely resort. Must rent a motorbike to get around the island but the front desk helped us with this, 300 baht/day. Convenient free transfers to Sairee and back- helpful for checking in and leaving.

Die Anlage liegt im Süden etwas außerhalb von der Stadt entfernt. Mit einem Roller oder den angebotenen Transfers vom Hotel ist man in wenigen Minuten mitten im Zentrum. Zur Lage des Hotels, es ist ein kleines Paradies mit einem privaten und wunderbaren Strand. Das Wasser hier ist sehr sauber und hat eine wunderbare Farbe. Schwimmen und Schnorcheln bereitet hier einfach nur Freude. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit, hat man mal Fragen oder sonstige Sorgen wird einem sofort geholfen. Das hauseigene Restaurant ist auch empfehlenswert, wobei man sagen muss, dass die Preise dort etwas über dem normal Preis auf der Insel liegen und man sich auch ruhig mal trauen sollte außerhalb zu Speisen. Kommen wir zu den Zimmern, zumindest zu dem welches mir gegeben wurde. Leider war direkt vor dem Balkon eine Baustelle, sie ist jetzt nicht sonderlich lästig gewesen, aber hat dennoch den Ausblick etwas gestört. Vermutlich wird einfach gerade für die Hauptsaison alles zurecht gemacht. Die Sauberkeit war nicht überragend, an der ein oder anderen Stelle kann man sicherlich noch einiges verbessern, z.B: die Klimaanlage mal reinigen und auch mal hinter das ein oder andere Eck schauen und dort saubermachen. Dennoch konnte ich die Zeit dort genießen und würde auch wiederkommen. Zum Abschluss lässt sich noch sagen, dass das Hotel sehr Kinderfreundlich ist und es schön war mal zu sehen, dass das Hotel auch entsprechend dafür ausgestattet ist. Ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt.

The best hotel i have stayed at for this price range! The staff is so nice, everyone was so sweet and helpful. The hotel itself is located on one of the best beach of the island and they have the entire beach so it’s not too crowded. Great hot water shower with good pressure. Free yoga, great breakfast, free shuttles to the villages. We loved our stay!!!!

Överlag ett prisvärt och fint hotell. När vi utforskat ön har det inte funnits något ställe som överträffat denna resort även om den inte är en fullpoängare. Frukostbuffén som ingår är bra och de som arbetar i receptionen är väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Rummet vi hade var fräscht och möter förväntningarna utifrån bilder etc. Det bästa är poolområdet i anslutning till stranden. Det enda som saknas är solstolar på stranden. Det mest negativa för detta resort är att restaurangerna varken har någon bra mat eller service. De tog oss 45 min från beställningen till att vi fick vår mat. De kommer inte ut med menyer eller frågar om man är nöjd. Det som också drar ner betyget är att Wi-Fi inte fungerade på vårt rum utan enbart om man var nära receptionen/resturangerna. Detta hotell ligger ganska avlägset så för att kunna äta på andra ställen behöver du hyra moppe för att enklast ta dig runt.

The hotel is located far from the center and labels itself as a high class hotel, in fact the hotel has a poor level of maintenance both in the rooms and in the public areas. Poor breakfast with almost no vegetables and no cheese. I took a luxury suite at a high price and got a room with poor air conditioning, a door that doesn't open easily, there is no elevator and the stairs on it are not fixed at varying heights and I fell off them because of that

This place is amazing and on a beautiful beach in a quiet area of the island. They offer free paddle boards and kayaks, and can assist in snorkeling tours. The restaurant is expensive comparing to other options but the food is great and there are other options in the near surroundings if you want to spend less. They have shuttles that can take you to and from the ferry as well which is nice. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing and on a beautiful beach in a quiet area of the island. They offer free paddle boards and kayaks, and can assist in snorkeling tours. The restaurant is expensive comparing to other options but the food is great and there are other options in the near surroundings if you want to spend less. Room condition and cleanliness was probably the worst we have experienced in Thailand. Room is tiny and not like the photos. Restaurant and drink prices are very high. Lots of rubbish in the sea. Wouldn’t recommend.

The best hotel i have stayed at for this price range! The staff is so nice, everyone was so sweet and helpful. The hotel itself is located on one of the best beach of the island and they have the entire beach so it’s not too crowded. Great hot water shower with good pressure. Free yoga, great breakfast, free shuttles to the villages. We loved our stay!!!!
