VIAGGIO PUERTO DE CARTAGENA

Location

The marina Viaggio is 9,1km from the mount La Popa, the highest geographical feature of the city of Cartagena de Las Indias, from where you can see the Caribbean Sea, the island Tierrabomba, the walled center, Boquilla, the north area “Zona Norte” and Bocagrande. On the top of the mount is a gorgeous church and a colonial convent built between 1609 and 1611, the cloisters of the convent Popa is one of the most beautiful of the colonial city of Cartagena and all Colombia. 10 minutes away from the convent is the historical center of the city where you can visit : Bocagrande, with shops, restaurant where to enjoy the mix of intense flavours which grow in Colombian lands, and the cuisine from Cartagena, based on fry-up, rices, soups and stews but also adopting elements from others areas of the world such as meat cooked at low heat, with vegetables and which have as a base delicious sauces.
