Great spot in this sleepy little town. Wonderful family that owns it. Clean rooms comfortable beds and pillows. Hot water was hit and miss but to be expected for where you are. The views from the top deck are epic. No need to climb anywhere if you don't want to.

This place is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The view from the 3rd floor terrace is unbelievable. Inca ruins in every direction. 4 minute walk to the plaza and action. The hotel however is quiet. No cars anywhere. History with every step. Loved it and am coming back soon.

Best views of the ruins by far!! Our room had views of both sides and both sets of ruins. Breakfast was great!! It was a little walk from the center square and no parking nearby, so lugging the bags and luggage to and from taxis was a bit of a pain. No amenities in the room.

It's not a fancy hotel and the "Deluxe" rooms on the upper floor with access to the roof terrace are substantiallly better than the standard rooms. So look out for that. The views from the roof terrace are magnificent and it's worth staying at Intitambo just for that. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is right in the old Inka center of tower. With pedestrian only street which is charming but there are roosters houses in the yards of the local houses and it's a real problem. They can start at 3:00 am. Not sure what can be done about that. Bring earplugs. Olantaytambo is a wonderful old town very much original to its Inka roots and the archeology site is more intended much more accessible than Macchu Picchu in my opinion. sun

This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. The only thing was our 3rd floor room, although quiet, was quite cold. Colder than the temperature outside! We weren’t offered a heater but didn’t ask for one either. All in all I would stay here again

The facility itself is good. The view on its roof top porch is breath taking. It would have been a perfect stay except there is a chicken coop next to the building. Roosters were noisy. Bring ear plugs if you want to stay here and enjoy the fantastic view.

The staff were very friendly, they provided a sack lunch for my day trip to Machu Picchu, and the breakfast had great options (and coca leaves for my water bottle, for the remainder of my trip). Loved seeing the stars, moon, and mountains from the rooftop terrace at night, with the low light pollution.

Great hotel. The area is quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything from booking taxis to questions about the area to quickly getting in touch about items we left behind! Breakfast was great. The view from the top deck is amazing. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is a gem, located a couple of blocks from Plaza de Armas, within the quaint network of cobblestone streets with irrigation canals. We walked everywhere, including to the Ollantaytambo ruins. Our room was clean and spacious. It's not a huge modern hotel, so keep that in mind. The common areas are beautiful. We had our coffee in a charming courtyard full of flowering plants and a huge tomato tree. The terrace has breathtaking views of the surrounding ruins and mountains and is a perfect place for sky-gazing if the weather permits. We enjoyed the breakfast, with fresh local fruit and breads. But the best part of our stay was the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They really did treat us like family, gave us advice on local places to visit/eat at, and even gave us all hugs when we were leaving. We left our luggage there after check-out, and when we went back to pick-up, Marcella at the front desk saw how tired we were (after our Machu Picchu hike) and immediately offered us some coffee and refreshments. We had a great stay, and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Simply put a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, sparkling clean and super comfortable. Free wifi and hot shower were great. The views from the upstairs patio were stunning. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice. Most of all, the service was outstanding, the staff was willing to go above and beyond - they arranged for my taxi, stored my bag, helped with directions/recommendations etc. I had a very memorable stay.

This was such a cute and charming hotel. We stayed 2 nights and would absolutely stay there again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made fresh each morning. The view of the mountains and the old fortress from the 3rd floor terrace were stunning. My only complaints were all the stairs (but that’s just me) and there were no outlets in the room. We had to unplug the TV to charge our phones. Otherwise it’s a very safe and quiet place to stay. You can walk to the main square and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. Don’t hesitate to pick this hotel.

The room is has shown in the pictures and it has a great bed with multiple layers of warm blankets. The view is majestic from the upper terrace and the overall hotel is authentic to the city. We had a super late check-in and the man welcoming us during the night was super friendly. The hotel is charming with all the vegetation and enclosed garden. For that price point it’s definitely a wonderful hotel but don’t expect a contemporary setup it is has shown in there pictures. Would go back without any doubts.

It's not a fancy hotel and the "Deluxe" rooms on the upper floor with access to the roof terrace are substantiallly better than the standard rooms. So look out for that. The views from the roof terrace are magnificent and it's worth staying at Intitambo just for that. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is right in the old Inka center of tower. With pedestrian only street which is charming but there are roosters houses in the yards of the local houses and it's a real problem. They can start at 3:00 am. Not sure what can be done about that. Bring earplugs. Olantaytambo is a wonderful old town very much original to its Inka roots and the archeology site is more intended much more accessible than Macchu Picchu in my opinion. sun

This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. The only thing was our 3rd floor room, although quiet, was quite cold. Colder than the temperature outside! We weren’t offered a heater but didn’t ask for one either. Excellent hotel between Cusco and Machu Picchu with plenty to see in and around Ollantaytambo. The staff was amazing and very friendly, always accommodating. We left early in the morning and they even offered to prepare us a breakfast “lunch box” for our trip during the day, this was very appreciated by my friends and me. Carlos who drove us from the Cusco airport to the hotel is also a tour guide with plenty of knowledge about the history of the region. We booked 3 day trips with him and each of them were very interesting. A truly unforgettable experience!!

They were so kind. We had to catch a 5Am bus so we were going to miss our breakfast. So they packed a breakfast for us and handed it to us at 4am as we were leaving. Amazing hospitality!!!

Very helpful staff, Marcela tries her best to make your stay worry-free. She was very good at arranging our tour and transportation especially when we were late coming back from Machu Picchu; she had someone pick us up at the train station. This place is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The view from the 3rd floor terrace is unbelievable. Inca ruins in every direction. 4 minute walk to the plaza and action. The hotel however is quiet. No cars anywhere. History with every step. Loved it and am coming back soon.

It’s a best place to stay in Ollantaytambo with the ruins viewable from the roof top and our room window. It’s not steep as we thought walking up from main plaza. We enjoyed walking around, to the ruins / restaurants. Felt very safe among the locals. The owner and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. They organized the transportation to pick us up from Cusco airport and toured the Sacred Valley. They provided free luggage storage when we went to visit Machu Picchu. It’s about 15 minutes walk to Peru rail station. Only wish the bathroom was a little bigger but we managed it. Strong recommend.

Best views of the ruins by far!! Our room had views of both sides and both sets of ruins. Breakfast was great!! It was a little walk from the center square and no parking nearby, so lugging the bags and luggage to and from taxis was a bit of a pain. No amenities in the room.

The staff were very friendly, they provided a sack lunch for my day trip to Machu Picchu, and the breakfast had great options (and coca leaves for my water bottle, for the remainder of my trip). Hotel was centrally located, and the front desk was amazing, helping us organize tour at very reasonable prices (from what i could tell, they didn't receive any kickbacks), including a 5hrs horse ride (which i would not recommend for beginners, haha), a reliable airport pick-up that would stop at Cusco archeological site, Chinchero, Maras, Moray. They also have a beautiful terrace. The breakfast was a bit smaller, but sufficient to get started. Just wished the hour would end at 9am instead of 8am, but for sure not a deal breaker.
