Bella Bay Inn

Room and location were great. Parking was rough. My husband is a disabled veteran and the parking lot is a few blocks away. It's isolated and very dark parking lot of an apartment complex. We had to drive around for street parking to get closer to the room that took an extra 30 minutes. Music from nearby business plays loud until midnight on the weekends. If you want peace & quiet may not be ideal for you . Staff was very nice . Would love to stay here again, but the parking situation will keep us from booking again.

Hotel very conveniently located to everything. Parking is about a 10 min walk. Room was nice. Only complaint…no ice machine.

In general we had a good experience. Two things though that we were not satisfied about were that we couldn't watch tv because the control didn't have a way to make the voice work. Another disadvantage is that the parking is about six blocks from the hotel. So you have to walk back and forth rain or shine to get the car.

Parking isn't anywhere near the property. Also it's shared with O.C Whites and when they are full they dont save a spot for you to load or unload your vehicle. I wasn't to happy about marching my ass a mile down the road to load my vehicle.

At this location you unload your car then park at an apartment building a few blocks away. This was not a problem as we love to walk. We enjoyed the location and the room.

We stayed two nights at Bella Bay 5/19 and 5/20 and the only time it was quiet was between 12:30am and 6am Loud music constantly, two wedding receptions in the building right next door, and the thumping of the music from the pub directly below our floor, people standing outside the window yelling and talking like they were in the room. The loudest construction I have ever heard all morning. It was awful. We almost left in the middle of the night the first night and went back home to Orlando. If had not had a prior engagement the next day we would have. The parking situation was terrible.. the lot was half a mile from the hotel and it was in an empty parking lot of an abandoned building… I was the only car in there when I parked. I moved my car the following morning and ended up using a paid spot in front of the hotel the rest of the trip. I was not comfortable leaving my car in that sketchy lot. The room had a very musty smell to it, I am sure do to being so close to the bay, but other than that it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, wish I could have actually had a peaceful nights sleep in it. Sadly we will not be staying at this hotel again.. nearly 300 dollars a night is easily twice as much as this room is worth during the most peak of times. Disclaimers about the noise and parking should be made before purchasing.

Parking was .6 miles away, hard to find the parking lot due to no signage, not enough designated spaces once we finally found it, complete darkness. Several calls to owner were ignored. Water view was obstructed by buildings. Room itself was ok. Good location.

Located directly on Main Street. Downsize is the parking is 3 blocks away. You have to unpack at hotel and then drive to parking lot. Walkable to everything

The room was perfect for our overnight stay. Comfortable and clean with some coffee for the morning. Bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. We were able to walk down St. George street, through the plaza and all around to see the beautiful lights. We did arrive in town prior to check in and wanted to get a parking pass so we could explore. This was a little complicated. We had to stop at the Bella Bay and then were directed to a second location down the street. We received our pass there and were then directed to a parking lot further down the street. That part was a bit confusing for us. You can drop off your bags at the Bella Bay prior to parking. The walk from the parking lot to the room is approximately 3 small blocks.

Quiet little place with 5 rooms with a quaint bar underneath and fun restaurant across the road. Rooms clean and spacious. Big tub. Bed and linens nice. Off site parking is an issue. Probably five blocks away. Would be nice to offer a bike or something to get back and forth.

The room was very neat and clean. It was also spacious with a microwave and mini fridge. It was in great location to St. George St.. Parking is not on site, but not too far away.

There were no staff at this location you were given a key code that let you into the room. The location in downtown St Augustine's was nice. There was not on site parking but the parking was a few blocks away. The one thing that stood out to me was the need for replacement carpeting it was stained earrings and dirty stained and dirty

Great location, clean and well appointed room, the check-in and parking procedures could be better, remote parking is about 6 min walk, however the city is so walkable you really don’t need your car till you leave town, the rooms are right above a very fun bar but surprisingly not too much noise can be heard from the room.

5 stars for everything. Clean, well maintained, great location, easy walking to everthing in old town. Only drawback is parking. Parking is offsite about a 10 min walk. A car is a pain in St Augustine anyway. Everything you need is within walking distance and seeing all the little old town streets is what you came for in the first place. Excellent for the price.

No front desk…can’t park by the hotel or you’ll get towed…”hotel” is attached to a literal restaurant/bar and the entire bar feels like it’s in our room and we can’t sleep at all. Avoid this hotel with your life..you couldn’t pay me to stay here again and I can’t believe I got suckered into this place (my wife is furious). RUN FROM THIS PLACE

Everything was wonderful, except the bed. It was broken down, especially the right side. It sunk in the middle. We would love to stay there again except the bed was really bad for my back.

Room was good and location was walking distance to almost all areas a tourist would visit. Only reason I would not stay there again is due to the restaurant/bar located below the rooms. It’s a party at all hours up to 1am.

The location is fabulous! Saint Augustine is such a beautiful city with so much going on. The beach is also gorgeous. The parking is off site which is a little inconvenient. The mattress in our room was soft and saggy. It needs an upgrade. Overall the inn is charming. The staff is very accommodating and we had a great stay.

Room 1 was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It was in a very convienient spot with great access to the downtown shopping and restaurants. It was amazing.

There was no person to check in with----the cleaning lady helped and so glad she was there----luggage up narrow staircase was a bit of challenge---my room was freezing cold despite my attempts to turn it off or down---would stay again for sure

For just to sleep at night it was good. Good location. Parking was completely inconvenient and far away from the property. No staff or service whatsoever. No view as they advertised. No housekeeping. Not very secure since entrance to rooms is always unlocked. Would not stay here again.
